All you have to do is drag the icon you want to play into the circle and the close to the center it is the louder it plays. There's 2 drum, piano or guitar, synth, musical, and high-hat riffs on each "environment" that you can choose from, so the options are a bit limited. It does support multi-touch, which is essential. So, when a little high-hat riff is playing I can grab my current drum beat and fade it out while putting the new beat in at the same time. Overall, lots of fun. I hope it gets enough exposure to hit the top 50 because I think it would go to #1 with the small price tag and unique design. I took 1 star off because you can't record, and without that once you're done it's not satisfying to not be able to listen to it again or share it. Plus each environment could use more than 2 of each riff. I would like to see 3 per before an update with just more environments.

For a free app, it's not bad. I wouldn't pay for it. You really can't do much with it. The loops are short which makes any mix boring rather quickly.

This is actually a pretty good app but it would be much better if you could save the combos you've made to your iPhone or iPod Touch. Add a few more options and new tracks and it would be perfect. I'd definetly pay a buck or two if they did that.
