Some suspiciously gushing reviews keep appearing here. If this is the only way the developer can rig the rating...you have been warned. This is a ham-fisted copycat of a vastly superior application. Tube Deluxe is the infinitely better London Underground app! As previously mentioned, the route-planning option is astonishingly poor and nonsensical - still recommending routes which have been closed a year like the defunct East London line! Most dire of all is the Locate function. I'm less than half a mile from two tube stops, yet it cannot find either! Kind of defeats the object, no? Misleadingly, this app masquerades as some kind of "officially endorsed" TFL/LUL application. Don't be fooled by the unlicensed logo - it's a shabby copycat app. As for offering a Tube map whilst underground... I've never noticed a need, really. They're plentiful in every train and platform I've ever been on. In this application, the bits you really need are the bits that don't actually work! Tube Deluxe stands head and shoulders over this dismally lazy application.

The route application might not be that good as other reviewers have said but it's just handy having a tube map on the iTouch in case you need to refer to it

Not bad but not really that good. Tube deluxe does much more like show departure boards which is very usefull and what I really want from an app like this. Get Tube Deluxe instead.

Doesn't help u much. Features are ok but doesn't work properly. Instead try tubedelux this app is very usefull. I love the live departure board feature.

it just told me that to get from belsize park to goodge street i had to go via kennington. if you don't know... that's a long way out of my way. If you just use the maps though it's well worth 60 p

I work in London, and even if you are travelling it is well worth it. Very cleverly designed and very useful. Also doesn't rely on a connection to work in map mode - which is usually all you need. Remember Iphone users in the tube, mobiles rarely work! Luckily there is more to this app than needs a connection.

Oh yeah the status should be along the bottom menu and be the first thing to open on. There should be circle, Hammersmith and city, Waterloo and city line maps. This is what londoners need. But still wonderful app. Take this advice and then you might get more stars like your Paris, new York, Barcelona, Madrid apps

The functionality of this app is very simmilar to Tube Delux, however the latter has a more intuitive user interface and the various features are better conected. I'm afraid of the same thing happening here as happened with the national rail apps- licenses are withdrawn from competitors leaving us with a single overpriced "official" app. Not bad at all but I certainly wouldn't pay £5 for it.
