Reviews:
Routing does not work By: Person5379315735674 - 26-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 Needs update
Ok for 59p By: Aweis - 26-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 There's soo much work that needs to be done, planer does't work for start n I thnk that's very important plus it does't give live updated and no details for dlr. They need to sort it out or this Is a WASTE OF SPACE!!!
Perfect By: Onurgenuine - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 Brilliant app must have!
Bargain!! By: Rug1972 - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 For only 59p this had to be aust for every Londoner!! Only downside is no 'back' button from maps to the application, maybe a fix later.....
Great app!! By: iPhineluvr - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 This and Tube Status make for a great combo. I'm looking forward to the update that incorporates tube status and engineering info, well worth the money!
Does the job! By: Babylon Klein - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 For 59p this is fine. Sure it could do with some improvements - hopefully updated soon. Route planner send ok to me not sure why people are complaining. If you use the tube infrequently like me this is a very handy cheap app.
Pretty good By: Dal40 - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 Like the indvidual maps of the lines. But why isn't there one for circle? Also it needs an accurate tube status monitor with details. I have another ap which is very good for this but if this is the "official" version it should really have status information.
Worth £0.59 just for the map By: Dre75 - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 But the locate station function doesn't work.
Great! By: craigtmackenzie - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 Easy to use, handy and it works on the underground. Great.
JSAiKO By: JSAiKO - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 This is going to be really useful, a landscape option is definitely needed though. Other reviewers are correct, the route planner is hilarious it directs you to the station taking 3 times longer than it should do.
59p a bargain By: andyjjj - 25-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 This is exactly what I need!
Agree route planner is rubbish, but just having the maps and lines is very good.
It needs live line status the this can be a 5 star app
A bit 'roouted' By: Ah la la - 24-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 An app that is better than most, has almost all I need, but agree with the other reviews, the routes don't make sense even with 'fastest route' turned on (Notting to Finchley C via bank??) you might as well choose your own.
And yes should get the tube statuses to view, and based on those allow alternative routing
Not Bad By: SD20 - 23-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 This is a particularly useful application, although far from perfect. In particular, the route planner is in need of rather a lot of work; many of the routes it suggests are nonsensical. In addition, a feature allowing up to the minute information on the status of the network is highly desirable. Otherwise, very good!
Great but not Perfect By: nsheikh - 22-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 This app is much better than the other Tube apps out there. Scrolling through the map is as smoothe as it gets on the iPhone. Setting a route is intuitive and extremely easy. My only requests are that the app incorporate the status of each line and also the ability to calculate alternative routes, just in case there are faults or delays on the route that has been calculated. Also, this is the first time I have put a v1.0 app on my iPhone that hasn't consistently crashed!
Great start! By: slyjim - 21-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 Good priced app, however frequently crashes. Also routing needs a lot of work, Richmond to London Bridge took me via West Ham! Needs more work!
It does what it claims... By: deesto - 21-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 But it's a basic app compared 2 all the others. No live update. I thought the tfl status would enable it 2 get the route info live from the website but not so. At 60p it's just ok. At the full asking price of 5£ i dont think The investment Will b worth It.
Good start By: Occasional Londoner - 21-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 At last a reasonably priced application that helps navigate around London on the tube. One major downside, on setting a route from Bond Street to Kings Cross, the route planner took me all the way to Liverpool Street on the Central Line and then up the Hammersmith and City Line taking 32 minutes. Much quicker alternatives include Central Line to Oxford Circus and then Victoria line to Kings Cross, or even to Tottenham Court Road or Bank and then Northern line, or Holborn then Piccadilly line. I'm sure the developer will fix this soon.
