Good job! This is a pretty good app By: Lauries john - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 It beats Apples piece of crap browser safari. It needs some tweaking looking forward to the update!
so far real good By: richillion - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 havent used it long enough yet but i am very impressed with speed and stability
I feel good By: Aresius - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Safari should have that ,shake to turn to full screen mode, I think. Great app, great idea. Thank you!
Eh... By: Westbo - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Not bad but the only upside is that it's faster. The shaking feature is annoying and it doesn't have website suggestions when you're typing in a new site. Give it a try. It's free.
Apple wants to screw us By: REDIYZ - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Apple is thinking about adding a premium game section with $20.00 games!!
These app makers profit just as much as a psp game maker does when selling an app for $2.00.
Because their prodution costs are next to nothing.
This is an abusive move that must be stopped please help me spread the news and let apple know that this is a f::ked up ideah!
Unless you think it's ok to charge $20 for games like bia!
Remember your not getting printed instrution books or colorful boxes, nothing tangable this is a real screwed up deal and it's ideahs like this that push people to stealing software!
I'm certain there will be By: Points guy - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.4 Updates. Please add bookmarks and a google toolbar.
The shaking gets old rather quickly. Maybe a double tap?
Otherwise a great app and a keeper.
Almost perfect By: glal14 - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 The scrolling and zooming don't seem to be as smooth as on Mobile Safari. If that were a bit better, I would use this exclusively.
I really want to like this app By: Tastybread - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 But I don't like how I can't access my bookmarks or that there's no previous history of the places I've been before. On mobile safari, I can just hit "e" in the webaddress bar and there's engadget; tap and I'm there. Also I don't like how I have to enter the "www" and the ".com" for web addresses. I know these are nitpicky things, but when your just reskinning an existing app on the device with one new feature from the original, you notice what's missing more. The day all the features from mobile safari are in this app, I will proudly make a spot for it in my home bar.
Step in the right direction By: Timmy9 - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Does exactly what it says. Bookmarks are a must though!
A couple things By: Deeznutts - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Great app, it is really nice to get the extra viewable area, never realized how big that bottom bar is. But.... Add bookmarks , on the iPhone those are so important to make web surfing really manageable
Good app try it out.
Cool App By: w930 - Jan 31, 2009 Version: 1.0 Nice App fast too! Needs A new symbol though
a better browser By: wavedashdoc - Jan 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 Great browser full screen is nice it seems to load pages quicker than safari. I noticed images load more quicker. But the intetface needs some tweaking. Shaking the device gets old fast. All it needs is bookmarks and new page button and im sold! Congrats and bring us some updates that will put this app on top over safari! Now if we could just get firefox to make a browser : p
Very nice!!!! By: APVangeliLMS - Jan 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 I like it very much, I hate how safari's controls are always there, good idea.
Blazing By: Fairley12345 - Jan 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 Super fast! Starts up on Google's mobile search page. I love it! Perfect for a quick look-up when I don't care about history, tabs, or bookmarks (which is just about all the time honestly). I see myself using this more than Safari.
Pretty good By: brussell14 - Jan 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 It is great that it does a (mostly) full screen view and lets you shake to show the UI. Problems are that it still shows the the time/battery bar at the top, doesn't remember the page you were last looking at when it closes and reopens, and gets lost connection a LOT (even if I haven't lost connection). Great start though! It does keep cookies so although I had to type the URL again to get back to where I was, I didn't have to login again.
