I love this app. I cannot fathom why BBC, Sky and CNN don't stream their channels in this way. Works well with wifi or a stable 3G connection (don't bother if you're on the train).I always enjoy the very French focus on extended debate on their channels. It's something that tends to get limited to Newsnight in Britain.Like I said, I wish other broadcasters used the facilities of the iPhone to their full potential like this does.

I watch a lot of TV (e.g. Thalassa ) from France so I am delighted to have access to this programming.However, to reduce my cable iCosts I had to settle for a speed of about1 MBPS -- before routing thru my Linksys.Result? The video side of this site's streaming is fine, but the audio is only acceptable; perhaps best when viewing live programming in French with streaming quality set on " highest manual". Pomising, but no cigar.

For someone such as myself that likes to get his news from many different sources, this app is awesome and the content is very wide and objective. Also if you are trying to keep up with your French I highly recommend it. It can be slow to load depending on our location. (ie WiFi vs 3G) I honestly cannot understand why anyone would rate this below three stars. The video quality is very clear and you can also stream live content.
