Need more locations i'm in Kansas and it don't get anything here. And needs police. Has alot of fire and ems. But I'm sure alot of ppl are like me and want to know where the cops are and what they are doing. Not fire and ems. But it's good to have them too. Police, sheriff, state trooper, need them too. It would be nice to get all them and fire and ems all in the same stream. It could use an upgrade. It has alot of potiental so us with iPhone or iPod don't have to go buy one at radio shack.

I suspect that this will be a much higher rated program in the future but for now it has limitations which are going to invite lower ratings that the concept delivers.1) Limited connectivity is a problem that will plague users until there are more locations. This isn't the developers fault, but it will limit use.2) It takes probably 20 seconds to get a connection and sometimes more. Would be nicer if it were quicker.3) There is no lookup up feature for locations or services. The automatic lookup for Portland, Oregon showed services in Seattle (150 miles away) but not for Portland Fire which is only 10 miles away. Scrolling through services is problematic since it's not indexed by location and details are skimpy. There isn't a quick scroll like a lot of programs have to at least go through the alphabet quickly. Chock this up to being a new program.Bottom line - great concept, potential for growth, but showing birthing pains. Should probably be rated a 2 star, and likely will end up a 5 star on my list.

I'm in Duluth, mn which is the biggest city in northern Minnesota and all I get is stuff from beltrami county very dissapointed need many more cities what's the point if it can't broadcast where you live

No volume button! The app was working fine and then the volume just drop. Now you can't hear a thing. Lots of bugs, needs some time.

I am very disappointed, no police chatter in L.A and a whole bunch of fire that you don't even hear about! Shame!

Only 10 channels

Do not buy. Only has 10 channels, 9 of which are fire and only 1 is police. The chances of you living in one of those 10 cities are zero. All the towns are either in PA or VA, and they are small towns no one has ever heard of. These towns are so isolated, there is either never any activity or the radio is broken. You can't tell because all you hear is silence. I live in Washington, DC and I can't believe even our nation's capitol is not listed. Please do not buy, even if you live in PA or VA. Your city will not be listed, I promise you!

Need More Locations and Police

I live in Corona, CA and would love to hear Corona Police and Corona Fire Transmissions or maybe even Riverside Police Transmissions. Please add more Police. This app is awesome and would be a great tool if it had more locations. Hopefully the developers will update it.

Hey I am a volunteer for Fredrick County VA so it would be nice if you can add Fredrick County Fire and Rescue thanks other then that wow a really good app.

For some reason, I really like listening to scanner chatter so I saw this app and got excited. There's no Los Angeles feeds yet, which surprised me, and 90% of the feeds are from fire departments and not police, so the calls are less interesting and there's more dead air than the police feeds I listen to on the internet. Still, for the price this is a great app with a ton of potential. With the right feedback and providing that the devs listen to their customers, this could be a killer app in a few months. If you like scanners, then I would recommend buying it before the price goes up. If this app had more cities and more police feeds, then it would be 4.5 stars easy.

This app is awesome. Definately worth the money. Great if you want to know what's going on in your town. Amazing the stuff you hear on this that never makes the news! And the one for my county says fire but our fire department includes sherriff and police broadcasts so I hear them all! Love it!

Great app I use my docking station and listen for hours, could use an upgrade with more selection, but well worth 2 dollars.
