You can enter you own fractions and add, subtract, multiply or divide them. You can just choose to see the answer or you can ask the app how it solves the problems. In the latter case the app will describe you each step it takes. There is also a handy glossary of the definitions (denominator, numerator, etc.)

I bought this app for my son, he is in 3rd grade and it's been helpful to practice and make sure its correct. I notice on the "show me" it show u the long way to solve it . It will be nice if it show u the short way; simple. ". 3/4+5/6=, 2 will be LCD of 4-6, now 4/2=2, 2*6=12 is your new denominator, 3*6=18/2=9 your new numerator,4*5=20/2=10 your 2nd numerator rewrite 9/12+10/12=19/12 or1 7/12. Any ways for a kid to make the app it perfect.

Good app for fractions but can you have an update so I can enter negative fractions? That would be great! Also sometimes I need to work a problem with 3 fractions that I need both addition and subtraction on.

Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it gives me the long answers most of time but easy to get around that though!

Sometimes I need to add fractions at my job and this will help me do it faster and accurately. Thanks a lot for this. It will come in handy and well worth the price :)
