To all those who hate this app because they think ghosts are fake, I have one question: was the title "Ghost Radar" too subtly nuanced and not blatant enough for you? Now personally, I think ghosts are fake. I bought this app because I wanted something to entertain myself and my friends with. Honestly, anyone who is actually ghost hunting in my opinion needs help. This app is great. One question though, what do the lines in the lower right mean? And what do the letters in the lower right mean?

I'm not saying it's real...but I'm not dying it's fake:Honestly, I believe in ghosts. I've had my share of strange experiences that have made me believe in them. I bought this app because I read the reviews and people seemed pretty freaked out so I wanted to use it to prank my friends because, how could it possibly work? It's an iPod, it's new technology, how would someone who is dead know how to use an iPod? So before I took it to my friends, I wanted to test it. I turned it on and I was just sitting there watching the screen when two little blue dots popped up so out loud I said "wow" and right after I said that, my iPod said "exactly" which startled me. Later that night we had a few fire trucks on our street due to a small kitchen fire my neighbors had. Now me being the suspicious type, I didnt want to say anything out loud in case my iPod 'heard' me. I continued watching tv and then seconds later herd my iPod say "fire" which definitly made me curious.I still don't know what to say about this app, but it has great quality and a lot of time was made into making it. I'm glad I bought it(:

I got to tell you, I got this app for free and it is so much fun. You have to have an open mind when using it. Here's what happened, I was watching Alabama vs Aurburn and with 2 minets left Bama scored to take the lead. The Aurburn coach looked pissed and the VOICE said "upset" now 2 minets later my wife brings me my super as I was sitting in my living room, it was a hot turkey dinner, as she walked in the VOICE said "carefull". Now this has my attention, was it a ghost, I don't know but it was freaky. Thank you Jake for the free app, it's got me hooked.

My cousins and I always enjoy doing something during family get-togethers so this time (on Thanksgiving) we decided to be ghost hunters. We had been looking for an app that we could use to pretend was a ghost radar when we found this. We used this in my basement because we figured we would get the most readings there and we were right. First we went into my pantry and the screen had a light on it constantly but in different spots. It said aren't which made no sense but we were so freaked anyway that we left in an orderly yet frantic manner and never went back in for the rest of the night. Then we went to the other side of my basement and it said calm jut after we had been freaking out. A if it was telling us to calm down. This just made us freak out even more so we ran up the stairs screaming. When we opened the door everyone was staring at us. That was just the begining of our adventures. We spen the whole night hunting ghosts. This app caused us a great scare yet it was so much fun. Part of me wants to delete it ASAP but another part of me cant wait to use it again!!!!!

This app may be measuring and interpreting paranormal activity or it may just be an entertaining way to spend time and amuse (or scare) friends. Some of the words generated seem random but others seem too accurate to be coincidental. For example, one night it was running and I turned off the lamp in my son's bedroom and it immediately said "light". It's certainly a great app to have and only a dollar :)

I was alone in a house that was for sale when I decided to pull out this app for fun. I got no readings till I went into the master bedroom. First I saw a red dot near the edge of it and the dot moved towards the center. I asked it what it's name was and the radar said bethany. I went on asking if it was a boy or girl and the radar said girl. I got freaked and ran out of there. I went back later and the minute I stepped into the bedroom I got three red dots and the radar said death. I was so scared.

man, my brother was screaming when he was playing one of my games. i said : robbie be quiet! and at that moment it said quiet. i freaked out and ran to the other room. this is definetly worth buying, i mean, come on its only 99 pennies.

This thing is really scary! One ghost kept showing up and I would ask it to say something and the device would tell me that the ghost had said something. Not really buying that this really works but it is cool

The developers show pride in their product and respect for their purchasers by providing yet another gainful update. It is to their credit that they frequently update to enhance the user's experience and control of the app.(Much more frequently than 90% of my other app's developers!)Due to the intrigue and just plain fun, Ghost Radar has long enjoyed mostly positive reviews. I do notice a recent upswing in 1-star or negative reviews. (Do I smell competition-minded plants?) However..reading them reveals that these reviewers are often knocking the concept itself - bound by their own beliefs, attitudes or agendas. The loudest donkey in the room is still only a loud donkey. I invite you to try it for yourself.I find Ghost Radar entertaining and interesting. How you experience it depends on you. We bring our own stuff to the table. Those who believe in spirits choose which ones to believe in - whether they be designated as 'holy' or otherwise.Those desiring to dismiss it state their reasons. Such as.. "I moved and the blips stayed in the same place" (Mistaking the display for an overhead-cam or expecting ghosts to square dance, apparently.). Or.."My friend and I ran the app side-by-side on two devices and the results were completely different." (Hello? You're using two DIFFERENT devices, with individual usage histories and settings. I'd offer that two persons should expect results individually unique to them.). Or.."The words are random..don't make sense!" (So the words should be referring only to you or 'speaking' only to you?)Entertainment or utility is a matter of perception. Indeed, all of reality is perceived. This can be a thought-provoking app, limited only by the self.Just have fun. For me, this was well worth the purchase price.

Whether it's real or random it's great to have on... I bought it because I read a review that Chip Coffey wrote up on it and had to see for myself.The first day I tried it my son (11) was eating dinner but his two younger sisters were running around.. bumping into his chair.. and he says "hey! let me eat guys!"... about 3 seconds after he said it ghost radar (which had been quiet for probably 20 mins) said "hungry"!!!! Earlier he had it on in his room.. I went out to grab dinner.. when I walked in the door with dinner it said "who", "came"!!! Yes it also says random things, but the trick is to just leave it on.. get past the first 20 mins and see what it says.Great developer also.. frequent updates! Suggestion: how about showing top bar with battery life, also keeping words spoken after you exit app..Thank you Spudz!Rob
