It really sends an e-mail to Roger's customers and they have to pay for an e-mail to texting plan to receive your messages. Haven't tried the other Canadian carriers but this is pretty much a deal breaker as Rogers is a large mobile provider in Canada.

This is horrible!!!!!! First I was able to open it and send a text, but could not receive!!! Then now it won't even open!!! It crashes snmd doesn't even open!! I just wasted 3 bucks on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K I use to think it was good. But now I realize it's a piece of junk. I type ling messages and they don't send. They just sit in the "waiting to send" stage. The. I have to select all. Copy. Exit out. Reopen the app and paste. VERY time consuming. Also when I switch keyboards to landscape sometimes the portrait keyboard stays up. Vice versa. ALSO making me copy exit and paste. Seriously. This is the most high tech phine out. And texting is the simplest principle. Were wasting money for s**t like this?? Ha give me a break. Seriously make an app that can do basic functions, or u just gunna keel losing customers.

I live in canada and i can send and receive message from bell rogers fido telus without any problem if you dont have a deal for you sms this is perfect for you. I use a ipod touch 2g 3.0

Wow: google voice intergration is amazing. People send a number to my bogle number and I get it on here. When I reply, they see my google number, not the email. Amazing. Plus, google voice keeps a record of all texts. Just open google voice online and your set!Cosmetically flawed. Once it's polished and looking good, you can even charge 7.00 for it. 1. There is no "clear text" function. Meaning you can't hit x to delete the typed text. 2. Text box overlaps previous texts. 3. A number without the 1 (ex 555-555-5555 vs 1-555-555-5555) does not allow that persons names to show up on alerts or on the app. 4. Sometimes the text will get "stuck" and the app has to be restarted. 5. Text gives two sound alerts for incoming texts.6. No refresh button on individual text contact page. 7. Buttons look hideous.8. The main page is gorgeous, but the text page is ugly. 9. The actual font (ex: the font used for typing a Text) is weird and not consistent with the rest of the iPhone10. Needs a time stamp for every text. I can't remember who sent what when.11. It would be great if it could count how many texts you've sent and to whom. Please fix these. Thanks :-)

I will start with design. Althought it needs some more touches on the UI, it looks pretty good. colors do match eachother. This apps is also fast, I hope this guys keep upgrading their servers to keep up with the load. Thirdly with the new configuration to work with your GV # this has become incredible amazing. I have converted this app into my most used app in a daily basis. Overall today this app is by fart the best on its category. For all of those who were complaining not having one dedicated number, get this baby configured with a GV # and you will simply love it. Thank you for your creativity Enflick Team!!!

If you get your contact in which you wish to text, to send you text message but instead of having them send it to a number, have them send it to your email address and you will recive it on your email! Plus you can reply to the text, by simply replying to the email address that is given

I gave this app a 5 star back then but now I notice that the receiving part has gotten extremely slow, my girlfriend would get my text in a sec but her replies come HOURS later, as a matter of fact I'm still getting text from her as of right now(4:40 A.M.) and she's been asleep since 11 P.M.! And were both on AT&T so there's no excuse for the hour delays. Fix it. I used to recommend my friends this app but now I tell everyone to steer clear of it, pingers textfree is slow at launching the app but the sending/recieving is wayyyy faster. Guess I'll bite the bullet and deal with long load times rather then hour delays on my text.

I downloaded this app and tried it repeatedly but it's not working. It isn't sending the messages out. Don't waste youomey and don't dl this app.

This works great. Sending Text messages are just as quick as the iPhone SMS app. but I think there is a couple of things that need to be fixed. 1) When I send a text message window overlaps the sent message.2) The close button seems to be out of place.3) The app doesn't make an alert sound when you send a SMS.

I used to like this app but the recent update really fails alot,now the txt recipient needs to subcribe before able to view the messge!which I bliv will charge the subcriber!

This application still doesn't work. I live in Toronto and I'm on the Rogers network. The last version of the program sent texts which prompted the receiver to subscribe to a rogers emails to text service which costs $4 every month. The new update fails to deliver anything at all. What a waste of money!
