I find this app to be a great way to keep my books organized in one place. It's usually simple to scan in the barcode and have all pertinent info added. The backup options save me hours of reentry of records.There are a few issues that I don't care for but I'm hoping that future updates will correct them. One is when deleting a book, parts of the list frequently disappear. Josh is excellent in responding to any issues both personally and as updates.Overall, I highly recommend iBookshelf.

Barcode scanner is not working very well, very often could not be scanned.Search function is slow (apparently it searches in 15 databases to get the book's information before it is catalogued).Interface is not pretty looking, could be refined.

OMG I love this app it's so easy to use and it's grey I finally have something I can take with me when I go book shopping!! Even better now the bugs have being fixed. Defiently worth the buy

Maybe this is an indication of how big a geek I am, but this is honestly my fav app (and I have tons of apps of all different natures). As someone who owns over 1500 books, located in 2 different cities, this app is exactly what I need. The developer includes everything that you need for cataloging your books, including barcode scan!Yes, the app is a little buggy, but of all the apps I have this is also the only one where the developer is constantly working to improve it.I have recommended this app to my friends and family, and everyone who uses it loves it. As an added bonus this app has saved me money as I no longer buy the same book twice (or 3 times, or 4 times).

quite a nice app,works smooth,i can definitely recommend u this if u want 2 store ur books in ur device...BUT PLEASE..A LIL PROBLEM IM WAITING FOR DEVELOPER 2 "FIX"...the iBookshelf icon is HORRIBLE,LAME!!! please change it and add it some retina display..that way ill definitely give 5 stars 2 this great app..

Very good concept but fails expectationsDespite promises you cannot print lists, or edit list either on iPhone or PC and between listsI downloaded the lite version and then the paid one and cannot transfer fata from lite to paid version

Bardzo przyjemna aplikacja spełniająca świetnie swoją funkcję. Niezły engine wyszukiwania po ISBN - znajduje nawet zupełnie nowe książki (ogólnie odnalazł ok 50% z 300 które mam skatalogowane). Niestety nie da się dodać własnych okładek - może w następnej wersji? :)

Overall I am very happy with this product. It has enabled me finally to catalogue my book collection without going insane :-) It helps me track what books I have read (no, I haven't read everything I own!) and what books are on loan. If you keep books at multiple locations (work, home, holiday home) then the location-tracking feature is invaluable. The cover art feature is great for quickly identifying a book. The major downside is realizing how much money I have spent on my books :-)I like: ability to scan barcodes and have the full details loaded from internet; import and export capabilities; searching capabilities; cover art; warnings when I try to load a title I already have; user-defined "collections";I don't like: very slow to load with my 500+ titles; very small buttons close to each other; need to fill out some fields that I don't care about when loading new book; refusal to load duplicates (even though I have a couple of copies of the same title); the fact that barcode scanning is an optional extra; failure to sanitize html when downloading book information;
