The App is good, but there are a few problems and enhancements that would make it great.All in all I would recommend this App to others as I am sure that these small things will be fixed over time as they are all quite minor and the overall experience and functionality is good.1. When adding books manually (by Author & Title) I sometimes go the Author screen and it is blank. Have to start the App again - then it is all OK.2) When adding books manually it would be great if there was a "a-z" jump list for authors on the rhs. I have 85 authors and scrolling to find them is harder than it should be.3) Adding a new book is a bit harder than it should be - or at least is doesn't feel smooth and consistent when importing via Scanner, manual ISBN, or Author/Title. Each is a bit different.4) When adding a book via a manual ISBN lookup, if the ISBN is invalid and you go back in to blank it out, it gives you a warning saying it must be 13 characters. What I really am trying to do it blank it out so that I can retry using a Author/Title search.5) I have had a crash or two over the 8 hours I was importing my library yesterday. Not sure what I did and I can't reproduce. Just seems to die eventually after lots of new books being added.6) Can you make the Common Backup desktop application remember the directory/file that was last used? It keeps defaulting to my Desktop and each time I have to change it to where I am backing up my data.7) With the Common Backup desktop application I am not sure I understand why the "Selected File" is a file dialog and how that relates to the "Output Directory" file dialog. Are these for different purposes? Maybe add some help text on the page or put them on seperate windows if they are for different purposes. Possibly the best book cataloguing app I've found, but not without it's problems. Crashes intermittently, doesn't always load the books after scanning, can't change the default status when you scan books from wanted to owned, etc. However, these issues certainly aren't constant, and for such a low price it is a really nice little app.

At first this app worked great. I loaded all my books and enjoyed finding new books to add. Now it won't even load the database! If this doesn't get fixed I will be very frustrated after spending so much time adding my books. Will delete soon and find another app. Don't waste your money...

They don't want me on that show, Hoarders, anymore because this app let's me hold on to all the books I love without actually holding on to them. Get it! You'll love it.
