I don't understand why the developer of this app has made the ISBN the dominant field. If you don't know the ISBN, then you've got a problem initially. It requires that you write something down even if it's a bunch of xxx's. This is absolutely a killer criteria. The "rating" and "status" fields are much too dominant. For my part I would need several things that would make book listing useful, like the library cataloge number, publisher, pub date, pub location, series, website, category, status, with the ability to edit and change the fields. Above the fields should be large enough to acomidate most book titles. It's a pity that the developers of Book Ba, who have a very useful application for Palm don't seem interested at present to make the application available for the iPhone. But, maybe that will change int the future ...

I am moving in a few months and desperately needed to catalog my books in case something happened during the move. This app is amazing. It's worked great in low light, with poor barcodes, and even on obscure books I was sure it wouldn't know ( a small paperback friendship bracelet weaving book from 20 yrs ago!). When the scanner fails, the isbn search hits immediately. My only wish is that you could select multiple books on the front area and assign them to different collections quickly. And there needs to be an easy to find help page for when you first get the app. It takes a bit of time tinkering with it to figure out. Otherwise, great app! LOVE IT!

Barcode scanner is not working very well, very often could not be scanned.Search function is slow (apparently it searches in 15 databases to get the book's information before it is catalogued).Interface is not pretty looking, could be refined.

OMG I love this app it's so easy to use and it's grey I finally have something I can take with me when I go book shopping!! Even better now the bugs have being fixed. Defiently worth the buy

Maybe this is an indication of how big a geek I am, but this is honestly my fav app (and I have tons of apps of all different natures). As someone who owns over 1500 books, located in 2 different cities, this app is exactly what I need. The developer includes everything that you need for cataloging your books, including barcode scan!Yes, the app is a little buggy, but of all the apps I have this is also the only one where the developer is constantly working to improve it.I have recommended this app to my friends and family, and everyone who uses it loves it. As an added bonus this app has saved me money as I no longer buy the same book twice (or 3 times, or 4 times).

quite a nice app,works smooth,i can definitely recommend u this if u want 2 store ur books in ur device...BUT PLEASE..A LIL PROBLEM IM WAITING FOR DEVELOPER 2 "FIX"...the iBookshelf icon is HORRIBLE,LAME!!! please change it and add it some retina display..that way ill definitely give 5 stars 2 this great app..

Really simple to use - especially with the barcode scanning. I have over 2000 books and often accidentally buy a book that I already own. This is a brilliant way to carry around my whole library and i have found it very quick to load new books from barcode and pretty accurate with details.
