quite a nice app,works smooth,i can definitely recommend u this if u want 2 store ur books in ur device...BUT PLEASE..A LIL PROBLEM IM WAITING FOR DEVELOPER 2 "FIX"...the iBookshelf icon is HORRIBLE,LAME!!! please change it and add it some retina display..that way ill definitely give 5 stars 2 this great app..

Otimo software para organizar seu acervo pessoal e anotar aqueles livros que deseja comprar. A funcionalidade de leitura de código de barra e excelente e essencial. Alguns livros em português não trazem a capa mas todas as informações vem automaticamente com o ISBN

Does what it says it does. I love the ISBN look up function, very smart. Export and import of backup worked well when I needed to reinstall my iPhone apps after a screen repair.

I am moving in a few months and desperately needed to catalog my books in case something happened during the move. This app is amazing. It's worked great in low light, with poor barcodes, and even on obscure books I was sure it wouldn't know ( a small paperback friendship bracelet weaving book from 20 yrs ago!). When the scanner fails, the isbn search hits immediately. My only wish is that you could select multiple books on the front area and assign them to different collections quickly. And there needs to be an easy to find help page for when you first get the app. It takes a bit of time tinkering with it to figure out. Otherwise, great app! LOVE IT!

Shame I paid 1.59 euro for this 'Book Collection App', the only thing it does is giving you a possibility to buy books, I can find free apps that do this. There's no books 'on the ibookshelf' when typing in an ISBN number it tells me it is not in the database (what database?). When typing 'Moby Dick' (in the author-field because there's no field to type a title) it gives me 100 Moby Dick books, I can click Save, I can then choose for the ISBN number or the Author and then I get the same list with 100 books... no way to download, read, or do anything else with the book except look at a picture of it... I'm sure I can get to the 'screenshots' with hundreds of pictures of book covers... I'd rather read the books...

Barcode scanner is not working very well, very often could not be scanned.Search function is slow (apparently it searches in 15 databases to get the book's information before it is catalogued).Interface is not pretty looking, could be refined.

OMG I love this app it's so easy to use and it's grey I finally have something I can take with me when I go book shopping!! Even better now the bugs have being fixed. Defiently worth the buy

Maybe this is an indication of how big a geek I am, but this is honestly my fav app (and I have tons of apps of all different natures). As someone who owns over 1500 books, located in 2 different cities, this app is exactly what I need. The developer includes everything that you need for cataloging your books, including barcode scan!Yes, the app is a little buggy, but of all the apps I have this is also the only one where the developer is constantly working to improve it.I have recommended this app to my friends and family, and everyone who uses it loves it. As an added bonus this app has saved me money as I no longer buy the same book twice (or 3 times, or 4 times).

The App is exactly what i needed. Finds all my books, in English and Dutch. Easy to use, look and feel great.And in addition the Scan option. Once you bought the full version you can additional buy scan addin for 79ct. Nowi scan and add to collection! Wonderful! Also the reply of Josh to questions quick and clear!If you need to create a database for your books, this is a must! In doubt try the lite version so you can see the app finds yourbook.

Still Doesn't Compare to Book Crawler

The latest update to this app didn't do much to help it's performance or add new/revised features. In fact some of the numerous bugs are still there... :( About Book Crawler-it's another book database/catalog app that seems to be more stable, has a pleasing and intuitive interface, and awesome search/sort capabilities.But dont take my word for it. A recent comparison of iBookshelf and Book Crawler on Touchmyapps.com, find that Book Crawler is a more quality book database app. Book Crawler was even recently rated in the top 5 book apps by the Huffington Post.I encourage you to shop around and compare!
