This eReader does everything that I want it to, except when I try to alter the name of a book. For instance, I've bought many books that have some extra information after their titles, usually in parenthesis or brackets, and I would like to delete that and just have the full title without the extra stuff. (Example: B&N classics have the actual words "Barnes and Noble Classics Series" after a title) This is a minor complaint, but annoying nonetheless, the weird thing is, the app gives the option to modify the title, and genre, etc. but it never saves it. Other than that, I really enjoy this app.

Same as all the other reviews. Reinstalling does not help. It only appears to because the app will still reopen to a book as long as the initial pagination has not completed.

I installed this and it worked. I then bought a book using a gift card, but it still required a credit card number. Fair enough. Once installed the I then had to enter the credit card number for the card that was never charged for this transaction, a real annoyance. The book would then not load past page 3. It then crashed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but again, it wanted a credit card and I wanted a real book.Save yourself time, money, and headache, get the app by the other book store, it works and doesn't make you jump through hoops to read what you bought.

Same experience as everyone else: open for 10-15 seconds, back to main screen, can't read the bood I paid for. Just talked to BN digital support. For what it's worth, they said to check in on the 15th or 16th, suspected update would be available. Said they are getting buried with calls. Ya think?!

Since the update, this app crashes 99 percent of the time, and it is making me crazy. Prior to the update, I used this app every single day ... now I'm lucky if I can read a single page before it goes kerplooey.B&N needs to acknowledge this ... and bring back the old version before we all jump ship. I can't believe I may have lost a tremendous ebook investment because they can't get the app running properly.BOO!

I have been loyal BN customer for over 12yrs. This app WAS great. Loved it when it worked. It has locked up2x's now. We bought 2Nooks, not shipped yet. One as gift for my Mom. Now am very worried if we wasted over $800.00! Deciding factor to get Nook was supported by At&t. Only provider we get at our home. I will try to be patient while bugs are worked out. But please hurry!

I was delighted with the Kindle reader app so when I saw the Barnes and Noble Nook reviews and found an iPhone compatible version I expected it to one-up the Kindle app. Well, I've been rather disappointed. Not only is it less intuitive than the Kindle reader but more often than not, the app won't even launch. That's a big disappointment after buying a $10.00 book to read. I assume they'll get the bugs worked out eventually but right now the app is pretty much useless. I tried clearing it off and re-installing it but it did nothing to improve the reliability. It still won't load after working once or twice. I gave it two stars for functionality the few times it launched but that's being generous. Even when it worked it seemed unnecessarily confusing to load a book after purchase.

and so pissed that I wasted my money on this app and the e-books. B & N really need to work on this-I am also sorry that I joined their book club. Do not buy this application-I have $40.00 tied up into this and now it's not working.

I am stuck in a book I don't like! Everytime I go back to the main screen the app automatically closes! I obviously won't be buying any new books until I can access them... I LOVED this app when it worked properly, PLEASE fix it!!!
