Exactly what a doctor needs in a drug reference! By: BGoyal - Jul 18, 2009 Version: 1.0 An excellent drug reference that gives me the info I need to make quick and accurate decisions for prescribing medications. The application is fast to load. It has news and CME which Epocrates does not. Another useful feature is the doctor and pharmacy look-up. I plan to use this application in my daily practice.
Great new ex app By: Jjub3 - Jul 18, 2009 Version: 1.0 Good organization of topics, easy to use interface. I've already used it half a dozen times this afternoon. Interaction checker helpful, now my go to pharm red.
Looks nice, but crashes, missing drugs, needs wifi By: TechPA - Jul 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 Looks nice, but lacking in actual use. App slows the more you use it and crashes 2-3x per day. Missing most OTCs (Excedrin, Robitussin, etc), a few brands (Tekturna HCT, Novarel, Exforge HCT), and few misspellings ("Rapaflo" is "Rapoflo"). No calculator or pill pics. Runs slow if you have a slow internet connection.
Great app! By: twilightmelfina - Jul 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 Have both medscape and epocrates. I like the interface for medscape more. Advantages over epocrates: user interface, news, cme. Disadvantages: no pill pictures, no source on price of medication. Would give 5 stars if pics are added.
Superior to Epocrates in every way!!! By: FaceDoctor - Jul 17, 2009 Version: 1.0 I have now deleted epocrates from my iphone, and will be using the new Medscape app which is fast and an excellent reference for a Doctor in a hurry.
Finally Medscape, great app By: Dr mann - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 Love the site and finally.... love this app. Already deleted ePocrates. News CME and drugs. Thanks Medscape!
Must have for any practicing physician! By: cfactor - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 Great app, efficient UI, accurate info, and blazingly fast responses in searches. CME feature is cool. I will be using this app instead of Epocrates now.
Good simple app but drug info is lacking By: CA MD - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 Nice clean app. Drug info is from Pepid which I used to use and is missing some common drugs, interactions, warnings, etc. Will stick with Epocrates for now, but hope Medscape comes out with more.
Must Have For Practicing Physicians By: gilshla - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 I have used Epocrates for many years but was always bothered with the long time that it takes to start up.Finally, a new drug reference application that provides a quick and detailed access to detailed prescription information as well as to CME and medical news.
md By: westie31 - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 excellent app. drug finder is easy to use and the interactions extension worked well. I really love the search engine for all the different doc and pharmacies in the area. I'll be using this app daily. Haven't used the CME function yet but looking forward to it. Good work.
Great app! By: Vmasson - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 Very useful app. Am able to get info I need right from my phone and without the hassle of carrying around loads of books. The design is well thought out and easy to use. The CME is a great added bonus.
gk75 By: mishakul - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app is very cool. It has not only drug info like epocrates, but also has news and cme which epocrates does not. I also like the look and feel very much.
Very useful application By: Tester43 - Jul 16, 2009 Version: 1.0 The combination of tools is very helpful in a clinical setting. The UI is clean and the application is very fast.
