If you are a trainer or an avid golfer, this is for you! Perfect for teaching students on how to play or how many yards away everything is!! How hard they would need to hit it, everything you could possible think of for learning is in this device! If you are just learning how to play golf or play it all the time, this is for you. It is cost effective too! Worth every price for the membership though!!

Good:Excellent interface. Looks good. Nics graphics.GPS is quite accurate. At most was about 4-5 yards off.Made it the full round and the battery didn't die (I did turn off when not using so wasn't on the whole time)Scorecard excellent. Tracking clubs and distance is awkward but a nice feature.Bad:Course loads via your 3G connection. Will be really bad if you don't have a cell connection at the course.Should be option to preload your courses AND it should keep them on the phone (and just check for updates)Overall, I would say its worth having on the course but will probably stick with my Garmin GPS for now.

Been waiting for this one for a while and it didn't disappoint! I love the feature to email your scorecard at the end of your round with all the cool graphs and stats. Only gets 4 stars though because the iPhone 3GS GPS functionality limits this app from being great. When compared side by side with a real GPS golf unit this app comes up short on accuracy. No fault of this well built app, the iPhone's GPS just isn't that accurate and could make you choose 1 club too long or too short. Always double check your yardage markers on the course before believing the iPhone.

I tried the first version of this application and my battery died =/ But, I tried this version and it reminded me to change the settings for my battery. I did so and it lasted the full 18 holes and then still had about 34% left on it. I was impressed! I love the new version and purchased it shortly after trying it again. I also called their support number to try it again and got right through! Fast & friendly!! A must have for customer service and for fun use!!

I must say, this is the most "Radical" application out there for us golfers! I recommend it highly. It helps you golf and gives you hints about your battery level. Even at my age.. I know how to use it and its easily accessible!

I love this! I take my phone whenever I go golfing, so why not turn it into a range finder! Genius! I wish I could of invented this. I inverted the calculator watch.. years ago. This tops all of my inventions! I am very impressed and wish I could meet the owners of this! Thanks GolfLogix!!

This has got to be the best range finder available! I really wish I could of bought it years ago. It helps my games a ton! Now if it could only show me how to find my balls whenever I over hit sometimes, I would be in love more then I already am(hard to do)!! But, I barely over hit now, thanks to this application! Excellent job with this application! Better then all the ones on the application store that I have tried.

I wish I could of heard of this earlier! I love using my iphone for everything! Now I can use it for golfing.. It has helped me tons on my game and my scores have gone down, All I have to say is YAY! Thank You golflogix! I can finally play against my good golfing friends =))

This app really turned my phone into "the ultimate gps" It really works and I use every time I play and you should too. Never need to search for a yardage marker again with this app and never forget your gps as long as you've got your phone with ya!

Golf logix has really outdone themselves in my opinion with this app. They already have a golf gps that they charge $300 for plus a yearly subscription. This app is just about the same service, plus more features and convenience ( its right on your phone) but instead of the $300 unit it is just the yarly subscription. The price is obv good but the product also really works great which made it an easy decision for me, just after one round with thier free trail.

Love this app. I play golf coupe times a week and average in the low to mid 90s. I haven't used a golf gps before but found this one very easy to use. I still haven't really got into all the other features yet, but the yardages to the green and hazards works great.

Could be the best app on itunes!

I have searched and bought a lot of the app off of itunes, mostly games and stuff but when I came across this I thought sweet. I have heard of golf logix before and seen the regular gps in action and thought it was cool. I then saw you could do a free 24hr trail of the app so I wen ahead and downloaded it and used it the very same day at my local course. I was amazed at how well it worked, just like the other one. Then I had to have it and for $40 per year it is my most expensive app but it is still well worth it. I figure if I golf 40 times which I'm sure to golf more, then it only figures to cost $1 per round, I mean I usually tip the bag guys more than that and it would cost a lot more to have a caddie with me. This is a great app, thanks golf logix.

Love this app the yardages are accurate, the battery life is greatly improved over the first version, it's easy to use and I recommend this app to anyone with an iphone who golfs.

I cannot believe the people on here saying that the price is too much, are you kidding me. You cannot get half the features this app has without paying almost 10x as much. Maybe if your searching through for .99 games and stuff then yea $40 is a lot but seriously for an app that gives you hole by hole yardages to the green, to the hazards and everything else you could ever need there is no better value out there.

This app is really wonderfull and I can't believe it is only 39.95. If you think that is a lot try searching for stand alone gps's, they cost $300 or more. I always track my rounds and being able to look aver them afterwards is really helping my game. Golfing, theres an app for that!

Positive: Excellent stat tracker and scoring software makes your round a breeze to keep track of. GPS tracking software is within a tolerance of +- 2 yards, not bad for satalite mapping. User friendly interface makes the learning curve a breeze.Cons: Definately consider investing in either a Sky Caddie or an equivalent thereof, particularly for the battery life. This app drains the battery at an unbelievable rate. A full battery charge will last exactly 4 hours - and that's with Golf Logix's recommendation of turning the brightness down to below 50% and turning auto bright off. Of course when you call customer service to inquire about this issue (as Golf Logix states on their website that they can complete a full round and still have a full battery charge), they blow you off and blame Apple Corp. for the issue. Needless to say, my friends and family will never use this App and / or any other products and services from this company.
