DataVault for the iPhone is the BEST!! I used it on my Blackberry and my Desktop for years and loved it BUT when I switched to the iPhone 2 years ago I was horrified that it wasn't available! I tried 2 other apps in the meantime but uggg, they were not near as good as DataVault. I checked every couple of months to see if Ascendo had joined the iPhone Applications and finally one day....YAY!!! There it was!! I bought it and installed it!! I had a couple of questions regarding syncing to my desktop since my version was outdated, but I emailed Acendo and they got right back to me with specific instructions! This app is easy, user friendly, looks great and is a secure way to keep your data with you on the go. THANKS ASCENDO!!!

I keep everything in DataVault - from passwords, to insurance info, to frequent flyer programs, to credit cards, to gate codes. Work and personal information is easy to separate as well. This application is flexible enough that I can create my own templates (I did so a number of data points I needed stored that weren't created by default) so information is organized in a way that makes sense to me. This is an invaluable part of digital life, allowing me to maintain security (i.e. separate passwords for various sites) with access to every piece of information at my fingertips without needing to go searching or worrying about prying eyes.

I have used this app with Blackberry for over 2 years before I got my iphone. The transition between the Blackberry and iphone was seamless. It found all my existing data and loaded directly to my iphone. This is a great app and I fully recommend it to all who have trouble remembering all their passwords, logins, and security questions like I do. Ascendo got this one absolutely right. It is a great little app for only 5 bucks.

I have used Ascendo Data Vault for years on 4 different BlackBerry models. Words cannot describe how pleased I am that one of my most-used BlackBerry apps is now available on the iPhone! There is no better password manager available. This is the one you need, and you will not be disappointed with it. It looks terrific and works every bit as well. Desktop sync-ups were flawless even with the beta versions. Great work, guys! Thanks so much!

Unless you already have the desktop program ($30) this password app may be too expensive for most iPhone users. That being said this is one of the best password managers available. It is secure, attractve, customizable, expandable, easy to use, has random password generator, copy & paste, tree or list view & customizable templates. What's not to like? There is no backup / restore capability without the expensive but very impressive desktop program. BTW the Ascendo web site is obtuse - it is pretty much for Blackberry - even says the iPhone version is being reviewed by Apple for release !!!!

I used DataVault when I was on a BlackBerry. When I moved to the iPhone, I wanted this app badly. I was able to get into the beta and knew from early on that this was going to be a great app! Now that it's finally available in the app store, I recommend that if you need a password manager, you get this app! Not only is the app everything I need, you can also get the DataVault desktop (windows only?) and sync with the iPhone database! The desktop app imports many different file formats that you can then send to your iPhone.

This was hands down my favorite app on my BB before I converted to the iPhone. I have been waiting for them to develop the app and it was worth the wait. The application is easy to use, very user friendly and has the best organization out there of any of the iPhone apps I have used for password management. The tree list view and the display of ithe details for each item make it easy to see user names, password etc. Ascendo has the best customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with, they give detailed, prompt response to questions and issues or concerns. This app is easily worth the $5 you pay for it, I love the OTA sync option, and hope in the future that they develop a wired sync option as well as a Mac client.
