Reviews:
One of the best apps By: Raya Sou - Jan 14, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 Great app worked perfect I love it. This is what I was looking for
New runner By: Dfant - 04-Jan-2010 Version: 2.0.1 Just started running and wanted an app which could monitor my progress and show maps of routes taken, works brilliantly even when locked and playing music it still works in the background, definatly recommend it!!!
Works better than my Garmin unit By: Jason E - Jan 13, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 Props to Apple for a great GPS and to Runmeter for an excellent app. Works perfectly and is one of my favorite apps!
Brilliant By: Running Roy - 04-Nov-2009 Version: 1.0.1 Tried this today, fantastic
Laufen 2.0!
Love it By: EzDSF - Jan 12, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 Been using this a couple months now. Easy to use. Maps are great. Marathon here I come. :)
Not happy with update By: Slcphiladelphia - Jan 10, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 They removed avg pace/avg distance for weekly/monthly view which I LOVED for tracking my progress. :(
Keep getting better By: Knighteyz - Jan 9, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 I have to say, after trying different running programs, I keep coming back and using this one. It keep getting better, the developers are improving this program more and more. I will recommend this program to all my friends. On the new version, I have one problem, if you receive a call you lost your GPS connection and stop tracking you, also the music stop playing and then you need to leave the program and turn it back. but after you do this the program keep tracking you from the same point and the music is back. I will give the program 5 star, but because of the problem it only get 4 stars.
Fabulous App!! - Especially for a Rookie Runner like Me!! By: eddiefast - Jan 9, 2010 Version: 2.0.1 I just used this app today for the first time and it worked flawlessly! It will be my own personal trainer and motivator.... what a great deal for five bucks!!! After finishing my run this morning I started playing with the app and had a couple of questions so I emailed Support and got a personal email response from someone at the company that carefully and clearly answered all three of my questions within about a half hour!! One of the coolest things about this app is that it actually shows real time elevation changes, split times, etc., all automatically using the iPhone's GPS system.... WOW!!!Seriously, don't hesitate thinking about this purchase if you're serious about improving your performance...Thanks for creating a great product!!
Get a call, lose your run By: surfriderb - Jan 8, 2010 Version: 2.0.2 This is a 5 star app with one HUGE drawback. I gave it 1 star so my review doesn't get lost in the mix of deserved high ratings. If you slow down and take a phone call while on a run or walk, no matter how brief, the GPS stops tracking you and it messes up your run stats. Other than that frustrating point, this app is worth every penny!!
The Bomb! By: C/O Page - Dec 27, 2009 Version: 2.0 I almost bought the Garmin forerunner for myself to train with until a friend showed me this app. I use this for running as well as cycling. It it extremely accurate and have tested it against a cycling computer. You will not regret this purchase.
Can't Say Enough By: Steve1951 - Dec 16, 2009 Version: 2.0 This is an excellent program. Has the features I want (some I didn't know I wanted til I had them). Works very well - I've encountered no bugs. I run a few times a week, many different routes; this tracks performance on all routes, by route, a nice feature. I've taken it on small hikes in the mountains, out of connectivity range (but with GPS reception); it still tracks distance, pace, time nicely, and of course the map fills in when back in range. I've bought a couple dozen apps so far; this is the first review I've felt compelled to write.Nice job folks.
Best running app I've found By: Brain Master - Dec 16, 2009 Version: 2.0 Great new features - mostly to do with sharing and exporting - in version 2 answered most of my desires for the app. Great support - answered my feedback promptly and courteously.
I Love This App! By: Pinkscissors - Dec 16, 2009 Version: 2.0 I am new to running and this app is extremely helpful in tracking my distance, time and route. I love the graph!
Amazing! By: Christamorley - Dec 13, 2009 Version: 2.0 This is a great program!!
This is the best. By: Briggs13 - Dec 1, 2009 Version: 1.1 I LOVE this app. It is easy to use, very informative and actually helps motivate me in my runs. The creators really got it right!!!
Great for tracking performance By: Cheetah4375 - Nov 1, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 Best feature is the Real-time use of symbols on the map to show your location compared to previous pace records on the same route, let's you know instantly if you are slower, average, or at worst pace for that route.
New runner By: TJ21005 - Oct 24, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 This is THE BEST running app ever!!! I've been training for my first 1/2 marathon & this app is my best running partner! It tracks everything for me & helps me beat my times gradually - I've told all my friends they have to get this app. Don't run without it!!!
Amazing app By: RPace - Oct 15, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 Never had an app worth writing about until this one. Everything u need to track your runs
Excellent, simple interface By: blpx99 - Oct 10, 2009 Version: 1.0.1 I've tried other running and GPS apps, but this one provides the most simple, easy to use interface I've found with large, clear fonts, and the ability to toggle between map and stop watch views with a flip of the wrist. So far it beats RunKeeper for me with its ability to get and hold a good GPS signal on the forested trails that I run. Of course no app has everything, and my wish list includes adding an export feature to see your data in external applications; publish to Google Earth; utilizing the accelerometer as a pedometer (non GPS mode) when the GPS signal is weak or cannot be found; and the ability to zoom in the graphs to see higher levels of detail would all be nice enhancements.
