Great By: B/cItIsSo - Jan 13, 2010 Version: 1.0 This app is easy to use and understand. The exersices don't look hard when you're first scrolling through it, but when you start doing it you would be surprised at the level of difficulty. Don't get me wrong. It's not that hard, if you need to work up to it- do it. Just decrease your number of reps or time to start with. What I love, is that it's not too overwhelming. It's basically a great little toner or get back into shape tool- not for someone who needs to seriously loose weight or rehab. But great for starters, alot better priced than a pricy gym membership. I just have dumbells, a bench, and a yoga mat and it works so far for me. I Added a 3 minute fast dance before and after my workout just to shake it up a bit. :-)
Yay!! By: Johannaaaa - Jan 9, 2010 Version: 1.0 This app is so great... I have really enjoyed working out
Needs some work By: Holly10 - Jan 8, 2010 Version: 1.0 Pros: The graphics and design are cute. Workouts are just like opening up your Shape magazine to those awesome workout cards, but easier to bring to the gym. Each exercise comes with a timer (for circuit training or rest periods), video directions, and ways to record your sets & reps. Although I haven't tried it, you can also listen to music while using this app and easily pause and start your music while watching the video tutorials. Everything can easily be accessed by scrolling left - right, up - down, and tapping the screen. Cons:Often the app freezes shortly on the main workout page and appears unreactive to touch, although it hasn't crashed on me, it's slightly annoying. However, seperate workout pages scroll easy and don't freeze! The biggest problem I have with this app is that you can probably find more exercises in just one Shape magazine. Each seperate workout only consists of 5 to 6 moves even when its said to be for a total body tone up. This would be a great app to supplement a workout plan or to bring with you on vacation, but not as a primary workout tool to get totally full body toned. This app ONLY gives you the 12 premade workouts with no variations or ways to add new exercises to existing workouts. Also, this app doesn't mention anything about clothes or dresses and which exercises are best for what.In conclusion, it's a user friendly easy work out supplement that goes where ever you go! However, if you easily get bored with the same routine and are looking for a large variety of exercises to tone your whole body, this is not the app for you.
Amazing By: Bizzybaileymom - Jan 4, 2010 Version: 1.0 Thanks for empowering women like me that they can do anything with a little guidence!
Perfect!! By: dance76 - Dec 30, 2009 Version: 1.0 I love this app!! Circuit training with the timer bar is great. I don't have to keep count of reps... I just exercise until my time is up!!! I feel these exercises... Omg... And I thought that I was in great shape beforehand.
Perfect!!! No lie! By: A Nigerian - Dec 28, 2009 Version: 1.0 It's so different from the other workouts I've done, plus it's especially designed for women! How cool is that?!!!
Amazing By: Fitgirl09 - Nov 23, 2009 Version: 1.0 I love working out at home and it's hard for me to get to a gym and this app has so many different workouts that you can do from home and they make you feel great and they all work! This app is completly worth paying the $1.99. This app is just like having a personal trainer but in the comfort of your home.
Another Great Shape App By: fudge12 - Nov 20, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app is such a cool idea. It gives you workouts for every different type of dress so you will look great whatever you wear.
