Camera is painful slow. The interface is lame. Saving your photos when unprotected takes FOREVER. Choose another app. This one blows.

I bought this app based on the description, and so far it looks awesome. This will come in great when I want to keep "certain pictures" hidden from "certain people"! Ha!Looks like the newer version has a lot faster camera! It makes a huge improvemt on taking pictures. Would prefer better zoom though.

This does not protect by picture or album. It has a main password that protects all pictures.Camera functions are nice and well laid out.

Very nice app does exactly what I needed. Digital zoom is meh...but it is afterall digital zoom so not the app's problem.

I found the Camera Vault to be very user friendly, and I love that I can encrypt my pictures now so when my friends steal my phone they can't see everything they shouldn't.

At Thanksgiving dinner my mom was going through my photo library on my iPhone. I was pretty embarrassed when she saw some pictures that... I wish she didn't see...Anyway, let's just say that keeping those pictures in the password protected camera vault is a brilliant idea. Now at Christmas I can hand my phone to my mom without worry. (She'll be proud when my photo library is filled with kittens and landscapes).

Over Thanksgiving, I was sharing some of my iphone pictures with my dad and let him borrow the phone to flip through and see a trip that we had taken a few months before. Of course, I did this without thinking about my party pictures. It was more than awkward for my father to announce, "Look she's doing a keg stand." Now I feel much more reassured lending my phone to other hands with a password protecting the pictures of my choice.
