GREAT CONCEPT, BUT By: shawndpaul - Mar 14, 2010 Version: 1.3 Very disappointed to find out it only does major interstates, not interstates within cities. For example, in Louisville, KY, it will work on I65, I71, and I64, but not, I265 and I264. Expand to all interstates, I will give it 5 stars!!!
The Best Exit Guide Out There By: Tehheh - Mar 14, 2010 Version: 1.3 It's still a work in progress. I sent an email about a Nevada exit missing. The response from an inquiry is very quick. I am encoraged on how this app will grow over time. There's no three month trial subscription as there is on another app. There's no free followed by $12.99 for access catch. It's not 100% there yet. It's already the best of the bunch.
Not at all accurate By: MisterStronomy - Mar 14, 2010 Version: 1.3 This app simply doesn't work for me. I live less than 2 miles from a major interstate highway exit and this app doesn't show anything in the correct location. It's off by as little as a fraction of a block to as much as an entire exit. It also shows one place that closed down this past fall. I give it one star for not containing ads.
My experience By: Mmob8899 - Mar 13, 2010 Version: 1.2 I have only used the app minimally but it has been perfect. I would also like to add that customer service is the best I have come by when it comes to apps. They respond promptly and courteously with all efforts to help.
Need State Routes By: jabpetsche - Mar 13, 2010 Version: 1.2 This is a great app, a great concept but it needs the 101 and the 99 in California...
Great Service! By: janaysdad - Mar 12, 2010 Version: 1.2 I had to sorta chuckle considering the one service I was searching (banks/ATM) was not provided.Still, I personally feel this service merits 5 Stars. I was feeling like a kid going "thumb happy" seeing what listings were listed. Surprised at some I didn't even know were at some exits I thought I knew well. Great Job!
Fantastic app! By: J Freedom - Mar 12, 2010 Version: 1.2 I love firing this up on road trips, and have it find my location and give me the rundown of what's ahead. So easy to use and surprisingly fast. When you have a nugget craving, there is no better app out there!
Worthwhile By: Reviewer20 - Mar 12, 2010 Version: 1.2 With some additional enhancements, this could be a great app.
junk By: snowlionGrowl - Mar 11, 2010 Version: 1.2 Look promising, BUT, missing roads, doesn't seem to know where I am, finally it found me and said there was a starbucks at an exit but there wasn't. App Deleted.
No Directions to Points of Interest By: Dpayab - Mar 11, 2010 Version: 1.2 I like this App but it gives you no directions to the points of interest which defeats the purpose of the App.
Not worth it By: Vinman service - Mar 11, 2010 Version: 1.2 Not worth the 3 bucks. it gives no addresses you have to call to get info
Perfect for traveling bands! By: After Elvis - Mar 9, 2010 Version: 1.2 Being in a traveling band, you're at the mercy of what the next Exit has. I've been dying for a good app that could fix that. And this one does. And it does it well. No more Mickey D's when the next exit has a Subway. Haha!
ADD THE 101 FREEWAY!!! By: Johny Rea - Mar 9, 2010 Version: 1.2 Please add the 101 in CA!!!LA to SF PLEEEASE!orLA to SB at least!
Better than ever By: sailing r - Feb 25, 2010 Version: 1.2 This App really saved me some time and frustration before, and now, it’s improved even its minor glitches (as mentioned elsewhere, better plotting of POIs) and earned its 5 stars! Even better, there are more listings now for restaurants, hotels, and such—and there were a lot to begin with. Very nice improvement to a useful and easy app.
So useful! By: stephyboop - Feb 15, 2010 Version: 1.2 The iExit app is exactly what I was looking for. No more driving around and arguing between the driver and the navigator. With this app, I can be the best navigator ever. I can choose our exit based on the restaurant I want to stop at, and then find that restaurant. Of course, it also includes gas stations, hotels, etc. Wonderful and really well presented. Awesome app!
User Friendly By: Violin Lady - Feb 14, 2010 Version: 1.2 I find this app to be especially helpful when I am traveling long distances in unfamiliar areas. iExit is easy to navigate, colorful, clear, and displays accurate mileage and phone numbers of various establishments. I especially like the "Favorites" feature which allows the user to save favorite restaurants, department stores, and gas stations. I appreciate knowing what amenities are available at each exit without having get out of my car. A definite time-saving app.
The Perfect Traveler's Resource! By: Writer R - Feb 13, 2010 Version: 1.2 You must, must, must have this app if you travel. It allows you to check for resources for all the reasons you need to stop when you travel (gas, food, etc.) off of any exit you're close to. The app uses your current location to list all the exits close to you when on the Interstate and identifies gas stations, shops, food locations and more and includes phone numbers for many of the merchants listed. Very cool! And even if you're not taking a long road trip, this app is useful to remember where things are off of any exit at any location you pass by frequently.
Great Help when Traveling (Afar and Local) for People Like Me! By: RRS Comm - Feb 13, 2010 Version: 1.2 This app is perfect for someone like me! I always find myself driving around and never able to recall where a place is that I'm looking for. iExit solves that problem by telling me what every highway exit has to offer in terms of gas, food, lodging, and other services. It has a dual screen view where you can click on either the exit information or Google map view. You can also go to the Favorites and star the ones you visit the most so the app will remember. Great app -- definitely worth the $2.99 price tag.Nice improvements with new version! The 1.2 version of iExit is awesome, just as version 1.1 was, but is even more helpful with additional resources added. More popular chains are included, and with the thousands (literally in the 5 digit thousands) of new locations (gas stations, restaurants, etc.), it's even easier to find your favorite place off of any exit when you're traveling or just driving around the city. Again, definitely worth the $2.99 price tag!
Know What’s Ahead By: HoustonJudge - Feb 13, 2010 Version: 1.2 This is a one of kind app that shows you POIs off of the current Interstate Exits for the major interstates. After testing this app, I realize how beneficial it is by letting you know what lies ahead at the different exits. It uses the GSP feature on the Iphone and I will definitely continue to use this app to see what the improvements will be. I only wish it had a Search feature so you could perform a search for maybe your favorite restaurant. Other than that, I give this app 4 stars..
Save your money. I want my three bucks back! By: trucknbayou - Feb 6, 2010 Version: 1.1 I drive these roads all the time and was hoping for something better after I tried one of the free apps. This stinks!!!!! Hardly has anything at the exits I've been to before that have a ton of places. It keeps telling me I'm not on the interstate when I'm right by it and nothing happens when I tap on the name of the places I wanted to find. No addresses at all? or even phone number half the time? I had to hunt and peck on the map to find the place I was looking for. I hate squinting and trying to tap on those little markers on the map. Ever try doing that while you drive?! Somebody's gonna get in an accident trying to use this thing!!! And why should I HAVE to call the place to find out where it is?!!!??! Plus, since when do you find restaurants at rest stops? For THREE BUCKS I thought it would at least be a step up from the freebies. Useless - it's just a list of exits and who the heck needs that?
Made my trip so much easier By: amberg914 - Feb 5, 2010 Version: 1.1 So, when I found out my boyfriend and I had to drive to San Diego for an unexpected wedding, I went into planning mode and loaded my iPhone up with all the Apps we would need for the trip. Road trips usually stress me out, but with iExit, we never missed a beat! Plus, besides telling s where the exits were in PLENTY of time, it has a whole Google maps feature that lets you find favorite restaurants, gas stations, etc. This was a great investment!
