If your trying to find a XBL app to watch your friends then I highly reccomend this. However, they should pay a little more attention to this app considering that there is a NXE version of this. I personally think this is better, but they need to make the app a little quicker. ***UPDATE*** Their current update made the refreshing go quicker. This is currently hands down the best XBL Friends List app.

1. Add something like auto refresh every 30 seconds or something 2. Most importantly, this of course would go hand in hand with point number 1, add a notification when a friend is playing online and I'm not actually in the app, i.e. like getting an email or text on the iphone 3. Continued from point 2, make it possible to notify if a friend is playing only a specific game. Like if I wanna play Halo 3 specifically with one friend, BOOM - (point 2 notification), BOOM - I click on the app, BOOM - I turn on my xbox, assuming I'm home, or as soon as I get home, and play some Halo 3 with my buddy. Don't know if any of this is possible, but just some ideas I thought would be cool. Love the app as us though! It rocks! P.S. Sorry for all the BOOM's

Never could get voice chat to work?

I was enormously impressed with the very slick way the dev mananged to get all of my friends list into this app without making me type for days at a time. I give a hearty tip of the hat on that. Never the less no matter how loud I shouted at my phone, none of my friends answered back, I did get a call from the neighbors. If I could add one single sweet feature to the next awesome release I'd have it sort friends that are online to the top of the list - Seriously a very cool app.

This app kills(PWNS) all other xbox live apps available. What would be awesome is if we could jus set it up like we are actually one the xbox 360. Be able to sign in to our gamertag, view messages, voice and text (and pic), and send messages. Be able to view all of our friends and wether they are online or not. Be able to edit our bio/motto and view our friends info page. Dat would make one killer app. And make it look like the xbox 360 dashboard would be even cooler!!

This is a great app because u can actually type any mlg pro halo player gamertags and see of they are online! Thru this app I was able to go one on one with tizoxic. The only 2reasons it's not a five is that it has a stupid name. And that it doesn't put the friends that are online to the top of the list. Which I think is a big problem cuz if u have100 friends u gotta go to the bottom to see if he/she is online. And there needs to be a refreshh button. Otherwise it's great

To be honest ok I like the thought of this application,however as well as it's good points also has bad points.I like the set up like I've said and how u can see what people are playing.but sending a msg to sum1 is pointless cos u might as well log into xbox live on a browser in the 1st place cos that's where it takes u so it's pointless.also instead of having to add ya own friends u should be able to log in on your gamertag and your friends already there.so to be honest if it wasn't free I wouldn't of downloaded it.

but needs a shake to reload/refresh option please! also the home screen pictures are faded, I think it would look better if they were not faded and to the guy that aye grow up I don't know about you but the economy blows I work 40 hrs a week and go to school videogames are fun and cheep and game points make it a fun competition between me and my friends. trust me I would rather b out doing other things like racing my car but again the econmy blows

I've tried the others and they're prone to crashing and slowdowns. I used the 1337 web app before and now having it locally on my iPhone is perfect. Also, for the people that bought it early, the developer didn't want to drop the price. Microsoft told Apple that they don't want anyone making money off Xbox Live apps so he had to make it free or they would pull it from the store. 8 bucks was way too much anyway.

There are few times corporate greed and public intrest work together, and it's nice to see it happening here. I was previously disgusted with the devs greed charging $8 and $5 when the app should have been free from launch. The karma of Microsoft's mandating Live apps be free tastes so sweet and now this honestly great app is free like it should've been. Hopefully some lessons were learned here by the devs when/if they make future apps.

Basically, I payed £1.50 for the iLive application, which infact stole the information off of the 1337pwn servers. A few days after buying the App, it was released for free. A few days after that it was suspended due to the 1337 server mess-up. 2 days after that I received: "iLive discontinued due to microsoft legal issues". No apology, even on the developers' site, what annoyed me most was the fact that he didn't even allow comments on his blog to complain, but I managed to get round that.
Enough about that App, hopefully this App won't fall down the same path! Thanks for making it free also!
The only reason this is 5 star is because of iLive.

My Favorite Native Application

I have used the FREE web app a lot for a while now. For me $7.99 price is worth every penny for the native version. This native app is better than the FREE web app the developer already has gave us. Plus, they will support this native version with updates! Which I have no doubt will be cool and better seeing the updates they made to the FREE webb app version through the months now.

Use the free web app if you don't feel like paying for this native version, but don't give it one star reviews when the developer have given us a FREE alternative. I also find it funny how people turned an available FREE application into a negative.

This app is great but there should be a feature where when you open the app it signs you into xbox live and shows u all of your friends and it shows you if you have any new unread messages.Oh and you should be able to listen to any voice messages someone sent you without having an xbox360 signing in then listen to the voice messageYou should be able to listrn to a voice message on xbox.com and on this app

I like everything about this app except the fact that it takes waaay to long to update, and sometimes the updates are incorrect. The only reason I keep the chewy xbox is because it updates really fast. Also, the color coding is nice, but besides that, I prefer this app. Maybe an update will have it working faster? I gave it 5 stars because it offers a lot more then the other xbox live apps, even though it seems to be one of the slowest.

Works great but not completely accurate, somtimes shows incorrect last game played ( only sometimes ) but maybe that's just a delay on my end. No problems since NXE update that I've noticed, despite other bad comments, but would be nice if it was possible to see our avatars (if that can be done). If not, this is still the best xbox live friend manager available. Worth the download! Anyone having problems since the NXE update have no right giving it a bad score yet. Give the developer some time to update the app!

$8 to FREE

I have been using this app since it was just a web app. I was happy to see it come to the app store.
That is why I didn't mind paying a whopping $8 for it. But now I feel put out. Do I get anything extra for my 8 bucks that others are enjoying now for free?
Should I expect a credit of some kind or is that just the price for being an "early adopter" ?
Still giving 4 stars because it really is a good app. As good as M$ will let them be with the LIVE service.

I gave this a 5 star because it's well deserved. At first I was a little skeptical of paying 7.99 when it was first released and after reading some of the neg. reviews. But then I got wind that it was drop to 4.99 and I was impressed. I was going to pay just that.......but now it's free? I wish people/consumers would have a little more appreciation for dev. and the time and effort it takes to make apps. How can some of you guys phatom the thought that everything should b FREE!!!!!!! Get a Job.....one request for the next update?have a donation button. ~Thanks #1 Fan

EDIT: Thank you so much for making it free! But the only flaw is that it's the same as the web app version! I thought you signed in the Xbox.com and it got your friends list for you. But I guess I can't really complain since it's free. ISSUES: 1. Make use of the in-app safari browser for sending messages 2. Make a way to view a user's friends, that way we can use our own to add them. 3. Decrease loading time. 4.Make a customizeable link to our message box on xbox.com, again, in-app browser. Thanks for making it free! (screw you iXboxlive!) ORIGINAL POST: Please, PLEASE lower the price just one... more... time... $2, even $3 I would buy it immediatly! But I just can't justify paying $5 for this. It looks great, I know that its probably worth it, but I simply CANNOT buy it untill there is another drop. Either that, or more features are included like... umm..... VOICE MESSAGES! That would be awesome. But that might not be possible. Meh, I might break down and get it, and I'm pround that you recognised that $8 was too much. Great web app by the way!
