I really like this app, but have some suggestions

I've had a great time with this app, although there are some additional options I would love to see.
1. Allow the user to resize (widen or lengthen) the head;
2. Give us some ear options (Vulcan ears would be a nice addition);
3. Provide some more female hair dos. They don't need to be elaborate, but you've got a half dozen types of balding men and very few good female hair styles. How about something with bangs??
4. Rather than just poses (which honestly aren't very useful), give us some simple sets of upper body sets with different outfits. Simple shirt, t-shirt, scooped shirt for the ladies. Also, let the neck be something we can make the same color as the face. Maybe give us some simple colors to make the shirts.
5. And, last, but not least, let us have some background color.
Since we're making avatars here, most of the detail involved in the poses gets lost in the size limitations of the avatar. So really, don't knock yourself out making more of those. What I know I need are necklines, resizing options, and COLOR!!
But, really, I do love this little app. I am having a ball making on the fly portraits of people I know and strangers I see on the street.

I love seeing the avatars when my phone rings, it puts a smile on my face!
The faces are a blast to make. The ability to rotate features makes a big difference in the expressions.
Keep the improvements coming. I had a problem moving the top menu, but I found that when I touch it very lightly, it works well.
Suggestions: I'd like more hairstyles with bangs, more mouth expressions, and more choices of younger, less tired looking eyes.

Good for the price.

It does what it's suppose to do. I'm not complaining. Just making some suggestions. Not asking to make it realistic. I like the cartoon-y-feel. Just want more options. -more in-style hair do-s. Most of them are plain and for the older look. Mohawks, sexy beach hair, going-clubbing hair. Ponytails. -more color choices. Green hair, pink eyes, black lips. Stuff like that. Ability to put on some make-up. -headgear. Now that would be a great addition. Baseball caps, 59fifty hats, beanies, helmets.-facial piercings. Have multiple amount of them. Nice! Or put a beauty mark here and there. Big, fat mole for my sister.-more options to look younger. Too many wrinkles and ugly looking smiles. More cute smiles and young, healthy looking eyes. Overall, this application is great. Good for a buck. Gives me images for my contacts.

I usually only download apps 3 & a half stars or better, but this one I took a chance on. And to my friend who has the same scale as me? It's worth it. I would have gave it a solid 4 stars, but I wanted the ratings to boost up some. I have yet seen another app to create an avatar so easily. So I think this worth 99 cents. If I can pay 2.99 for iMunches!? I can definitely pay a buck for this. My only bug/problem I've been having w/ this is deleting a selection connected to a landscape. Other than that? It's good to go. So give it a try.

This is a really fun app to play with. Yes, it's a tad slow, but not as bad as what other reviews indicate. That'll be fixed in no time.I think this app needs a lot more poses and facial features. One other thing I would love to see is an option for hats. I swear I have a lot of friends that NEVER take off their hats.Bottom line is this app is more than acceptable, and it's a lot if fun. On a side note, I love it when an app is able to initially give you a great product, then enhance it with new updates. It keeps the product fresh and exciting. Of course, that's just my preference.

Avatar creator, great application for such a small price. So much variety in features to choose from and so much fun doing so. Guaranteed to keep you entertained for a while, creating avatars of your friends to add as contact profiles for when they call.I'm glad I purchased this application when I did, so I can vouch for the creators when they say updates are being worked on. The constant dedication to this application's updates keep it alive and fresh. Right when I found I needed a feature like a faux-hawk for a character it became available in the next update, with three different styles of faux-hawk too. But of course with every update time is needed. Be patient, its worth it. Quality over quantity.Without a doubt, worth the buy.

This is fun! You can definitely create something in the likeness of your friends that other people will recognize. It’s really funny when my brother calls me and the caller ID displays his avatar! I really love the posing feature where you can place your avatar into different pre-made scenes, this allows you to add a little personality to your emees but I would like to see some more poses in the future - what’s included is a good start though.

Keeps the kids busy!

This one is really good for the kids. They can be a handful in the car at times but if I need some peace suddenly I just pull out my iPhone and start up emees and suddenly my kids are busy working together [wah!] to create these funny little faces. It’s also shocking to see sometimes how close these faces can be to the real thing / just a little exaggerated like a spitting image. As a bonus the contacts I have with missing photos are starting to get filled in with emees!

I tried some other apps like this that try to duplicate what the Wii does, one even copied the artwork from the Mii editor but nothing comes as close as eMeez.
This is the only one I found where I can actually rotate and change the space between the eyes and eyebrows instead moving or sizing them both as if they were glued together. Although not as fancy as the pinch and stretch method I like the adjustment buttons in emeez better because I can change the parameters of the parts without blocking the view with my clumsy fingers. Also the buttons are in just teh right spot for my thumbs!
One thing that I couldn’t tell as much from the screen shots (the developers should take some new ones) is that the artwork is fantastic! I think it’s even better than the Wii/Miis because there is so much variety and it’s all very stylized and sharp looking.
Finally, while browsing through most of the facial features seems to be fairly responsive, I did find that going through the hair did feel a tad on the slow side. However I’m willing to forgive it that shortcoming because it really is a great app and it does look like the developer is aware of this problem and promises to fix it in an update. If they don’t make good on this promise I’m going to mark my rating down to 4/5 stars but I’m making it an optimistic 5/5 now to thank you in advance :O)

This app is so much fun, it gets 5 stars from me. I love creating new avatars , and making them look like friends and family. I can spend hours changing the features on faces. Needs more female hair style choices especially for longer hair. Also the option to add different colored lipstick & makeup etc... would be great! Needs more eye, mouth, & nose choices, and the option to add jewelry and more poses. These changes would really enhance this app!

Nice app with lots of options. Although not my mustache. I have a horseshoe, kinda like a FuManChu. But as I said, nit a bad little app.<~~~1st app review. Nov.15,2009... After communicating with the developers, a Fu is coming out in next update.... They facebooked a few new things that are coming also in that update. Only one or two developers (and I have a ton of apps, both free and paid) have contacted me back like smallmedium did. I love when the devlprs actually care. Keepupgreat work.......

Thank you for the update, before it was hard to give it a great review because it was soooooooo heavily biased to men! There was basically 4 or 5 female hair styles! And like 1 eyes, etc. All my female contacts didn't look very well matched, and you would think, knowing women, we'd as many hair, eyes, etc than the men, if not *more.*I still wish there was more hair styles but it's much better now. Fun to match all you friends and make a cool contact list.

UPDATED REVIEW --- This is exactly what I was looking for!!! Off the chart GREAT!

With this latest update the developer has tackled the very needs we asked for. I was most impressed that they sought me out asking I give them a fair shake and honor my commitment to update my review. Well, they did what I had hoped for and exceeded my expectations. GREAT JOB! Great service and I hope you sell a lot of units to inspire you to go even further. I'll say this, you've set the bar high and there is not another iPhone App that handles creating Avatars better than you. Thanks!!!!!!!

With a few improvements this app would be worthy of 5 stars. First of all there needs to be a way to edit a previously created avatar rather than having to start over. Second, it would be nice if you didnt have start all over again if you exit the app and go back to it. Other useful improvements include an extra long hair style and other extra style options. This a great app and well worth a buck and with some updates this app will be perfect.

This app is pretty cool. I don't really like taking everyones contact pic so this is a pretty cool alternative to contact pics. The only things I suggest that would make this 5 stars are:-more hair colors/styles-a lot more poses-the abilty to change the background color...I hate the white :( way too plain-ability to color in poses would be nice as wellOverall this is a fun little app and th artwork is wayyyy better than the other avatar apps. Keep it up and hope to see some to the suggestions added in the upcoming updates!

This is the first app I've liked enough to write a review for!! This is exactly what the iPhone needed so you don't have to use actual pictures of your contacts. The features have a bunch of selection, but I do wish it had a few more like changing background colors and a few more options for hair, glasses, mouths, etc. Those will probably come in updates so I'm anctiously awaiting! Worth the money if you didn't get to download for free!

.. Or it won't be so special ! Its a fantastic little app. (I say little, but i didn't have to write it..). It is especially useful if you are stuck indoors with the flu.Only four stars because it needs even more options, please. Especially needs more face shapes (lacks square jaw lines, common in my family), more hair styles and more mouths. Hats would be a great option too. My brother's avatar doesn't look right without the "Prisoner" baseball cap he never removes.

Very snappy app, plenty of features, and you get a lot for your money (something I think users sometimes forget, especially when they don't know how much time and skill it takes to create these apps). I haven't given it 5 stars simply because there just wasn't enough face parts to create everyone I know. I'm in a minority, I have a facial birthmark, the closest I could get was a big mole on my cheek ;) not much of a complaint. Great fun app, and well worth the money, buy it.

I think it just needs a few more poses and some extra's, like more glasses, and someone mentioned about adding pets, priecings and/or headbands, in a previous comments, but I think it's a very good app and you can almost create anyone if you want to... it's quite detailed. But please add more poses for future updates, or if we could create our own poses, it'll be even better!!! Also, it'll be a good idea if we could add text into our avatars, like the 'prisoner' pose with the name & number board, it'll be good if we could change the no. on the boards to the avatar's birthdate.But it's a great app and a lot of fun!!!!

This is a very well thought out app!
I have yet to have any problems so far, and I've been putting a lot of mileage on it the past two days ;)
The only things this app is missing is more features. There is a limited number or hair styles and facial features. It would be nice if there were things like dreadlocks and freckles. So when you are a perfectionist like myself, it can be a touch frustrating. Once new updates come out I'm sure there will be more options.
But for the price, you might as well get it.
