Reviews:
Brilliant app! By: Minx555 - 23-Aug-2009 Version: 2.0.2 This app is the most user friendly Twitter vehicle for iPhone I have found (tried a few). TweetDeck was my second fave but that is better used on a laptop. Twitterfon does everything you need.
Only tiny request would be a way to add recently used #tags to tweets to avoid having to type them in each time. Maybe an option next to the 'add pic' etc bit on the bottom left of the tweet page.
Other than that, a totally superb app!
great app! By: maryam rose - Jun 5, 2009 Version: 1.5.1 it is misleading to say that this is exactly like the free version. the multiple account support, landscape keyboard, and the fact that it is ad-free makes it a significant upgrade in my book. I've been a Twitterfon user for a while and I have absolutely no issues paying $5.00 for a well-designed, well-thought-out app like this one.
I would like more color themes, please! otherwise, it's perfect.
The Free one is great, the Pro is even better. By: Supercod - 18-Aug-2009 Version: 2.0.1 Used the free one for over 3 months and went for the Pro the moment it came out, now several months later I can say it's by far one of the best, having tried 4 different iPhone Twitter apps. As a business user I been looking for a great multi-user client along with a great overall Twitter application and TwitterFon Pro is the very application to offer this. The cost of £2.99 in the UK is a bargain for something I use daily; well done and if you’re thinking about it, what's to think about!
The only twitter app you need By: inDissonance - May 30, 2009 Version: 1.5.1 This application has everything you need and then some: save your searches, favorite/unfavorite tweets, view your favorites, alerts you when you have a reply or direct message, allows multiple accounts, has different themes, landscape keyboard when tweeting, and more. All other Twitter applications promise so much but only give you half of these options. I wasted my money on other apps, but I'm sticking with Twitterfon Pro because it gives me what I need and more, its features are already way ahead of other apps, and every update (which come regularly - props to Kazuho Okui) only makes it better. This is the only Twitter app you will ever need.
The best!!! By: Lakers4life - May 29, 2009 Version: 1.5.1 Finally found a good twitter app... I've purchased twitterena which was $.99 and was terrible, deleted it in 1 day.. Then I purchased tweetie $2.99, which was good but no updates when you have new tweets/ DM, so what good is that? So I decided let me try twitterfon pro at $ 4.99 it's a bit pricey but the best!! Only thing is that, it should be like tweetie were you can tap on other users pix and make it bigger to view other then that great!!!
Pro adds all features I've been wanting By: jallin - 22-May-2009 Version: 1.5 I had been using the free version of TwitterFon for a long time and thought it was the best free twitter app. There were certain features like multiple accounts, landscape keyboard and the ability to block users that I was wanting, though.
When the paid version came along that added all of these features, I wasted no time upgrading. Sure, at $5 it's a little more expensive than some. I figured after all the use I got for free, the developer deserved it. No regrets!
Pleased I upgraded By: spiegel - 31-May-2009 Version: 1.5.1 Twitterfon was my first and only app when I started to use Twitter; I loved it as it was sleek & fast. I can't compare it to the other clients even though they appealed to me with the 'pretty' styles I soon realised it was functionality & excellent way it scrolls to last read tweet were more important. I hated the advert appearing as it slowed Tfon pointless for me as I never click on ads from Apps or online plus it crashed a lot. I reverted to 1.4 before making my decision after looking at the others to upgrade to the Pro version which I have found after one initial glitch for me (responded to promptly by support) the App is definitely worth the upgrade. Ad free is great and excellent support so far. Only one minor thing is adding favourites star from the timeline isn't quite polished, works sometimes. Even though it is meant to be for Pro users I am glad I upgraded & hope the progress with the app will still maintain the sleek, fast style. The Landscape keyboard feature has helped me a lot a feature I didn't realise was good until it was available to me. Themes are fine although I just keep to the same one and wouldn't want too many to slow down the app as the footprint is neat. I still read about the other clients but to date Twitterfon Pro is the only one which I find suitable for me, unfair to rate any of the others as I haven't used them but after using this one I feel I am happy unless something goes totally wrong. Support when needed is excellent :)
A great Twitter app By: Sean- - 19-May-2009 Version: 1.5 I've been using the free version of TwitterFon for months and it always impressed me.
Quite simply, when the Pro version was launched I wanted to buy it as the developer(s) have more than earned the right to make some money from it. I'm only too happy to give them my £2.99.
It's very simple to use, loads quickly and has never given me any trouble.
It is one of the apps I use most on my iPhone and easily one of the best.
My advice would be to try the free one (if still available) and if you're happy with it do the right thing by the developers and upgrade.
The Very Best By: MikeyB. - May 22, 2009 Version: 1.5 IMO, TwitterFon Pro is the very best iPhone Twitter app out there. I was a huge fan of the free version but needed to be able to manage multiple accounts so I had to use another app. But no more, TF Pro has a great implementation of multiple accounts.
Overall, it is an extremely clean UI and is super fast to load. There's a few themes, you can search trends, profiles or hashtags. It's not bloated with features but has all the key ones wrapped up in a lightweight app that provides a great Twitter experience.
The rest don’t even come close! By: El DudeErino - 19-May-2009 Version: 1.5 As a big twitterholic I was quick to use the free TwitterFon client which I loved. There were no bad reviews and it seemed the app of choice for most Twitter fans like me. When the last update came shock horror it had adverts in it which whilst not changing the use of the app did in all honesty anoy me. As a result I searched for a new Twitter app and even paid for a few. None of them and I do mean none came even close to Twitterfon for ease of use and just being brilliant, so I persevered with the free TwitterFon and its adverts. Then came the advert that caught my eye…TwitterFon Pro!!! With in 5 mins I had downloaded TwitterFon Pro with no adverts and added features. Basically its Feee TwitterFon which we all know and love with some nice new features, like being able to handle multiple Twitter accounts, change the theme, and save searches…in a word what it says it will do. Do I begrudge having to pay for it, well no. Lets support the app maker and be happy to pay for an app that is really the bet Twitter client as the rest really don’t come close.

Overpriced? Not in my opinion! By: SSJX - May 21, 2009 Version: 1.5 I have been using Twitterfon (free) since mid April, I tried others that never really got me excited about Tweeting on the iPod Touch. I upgraded to Pro earlier today (making Twitterfon Pro the first app I have paid for), and I'm very happy with the app. I believe the price can be seen as high by some that want the perfect Twitter app for pennies, but I got all I wanted in a Twitter app at what I consider a fair market price. Can't wait to see what is coming in future versions.
The best free twitter client just got better! By: gilesthurston - 18-May-2009 Version: 1.5 I've been using the free version of Twitterfon for months now and found it's balance of functionality and usability perfect for the iPhone. Having tried a number of other apps, including the popular Tweetie I was always drawn back to Twitterfon. It just seemed to get the way I used twitter and eventually it was the only twitter client on my iPhone.
And then along came Twitterfon Pro - wow! Loads of new functionality and support for multiple accounts, which was one plus point Tweetie had over Twitterfon.
If you are looking for an easy to use twitter client on your iPhone, which is packed full of functionality, then look no further than Twitterfon, you will not be dissappointed!
Omg finally! By: Thedeadknight - May 21, 2009 Version: 1.5 So glad this finally came out. Has all the features of twitterfon but now has all the functions everybody was missing like the landscape keyboard. Which is landscape only when you rotate your phone :) *ahem tweetie*. has attractive muted themes instead of sissy clouds.
Has the flow you'd expect from the twitterfon publisher (kazoaki???sp??).
Hands down the best twitter app. A steal at 4.99. I bought it without question. Can finally delete all my old twitter apps. I now have the one to rule them all.
Worth paying for this solid app! By: OakleyOC - May 19, 2009 Version: 1.5 (You can see my review of the free version, TwitterFon)
Features that I KNEW were coming with TwitterFon Pro...and were delivered! ---
1. FAST loading, from using cached tweets
2. Multi-account management
3. ROCKIN' landscape typing
4. Theme selection, per account
I like how other Twitter apps were 'almost' getting to TwitterFon's level, and then Twitterfon Pro raises the standards. Awesome job, naanstudio!
Involved with action sports I used TwitterFon since I'm always on the move. TwitterFon Pro just nails it for me as the wise choice for a reliable Twitter app!

Amazing By: tmth421 - Oct 1, 2009 Version: 2.1 I love this app does everything I need it too, it crashes from time to time bit what app doesn't? It's worth every penny! But it would better to have push notification(for some reason it's not working when you say you have it) on it so you know when some one writes a DM or an @ but other then that I think this is a app to choose if your a true Twitter :) and I've tried all the apps for Twitter and this one is the one to choose :)
Really enjoy By: Xosuitehearts - Sep 29, 2009 Version: 2.1 Hey, I wanted to run by and say, I am really enjoying this app, thank you so much for making such a good app for Twitter, the push notifications are pretty cool, but I wish they were a bit faster, but besides that I really like this app. I haven't had much problems with it at all. I am curious, will there be Project Retweet API integration as well as Geo Locate integration from Twitter's official code being implemented in the future?
My favorite twitter client By: Walt Basil - May 18, 2009 Version: 1.5 I have the other 2 big ones I paid for too (Tweetie and Twitterific), but I have always used twitterfon more. Now that it's a paid program, I find I like it even more.
I love the way the keyboard changes from landscape to normal simply by flipping your iPhone, not by changing some preference setting like Tweetie does.
The developer is very active both in twitter and on pumping out fixes, and keeping his customers informed of progress.
Really enjoy By: Xosuitehearts - Oct 26, 2009 Version: 2.1.1 Hey, I wanted to run by and say, I am really enjoying this app, thank you so much for making such a good app for Twitter, the push notifications are pretty cool, but I wish they were a bit faster, but besides that I really like this app. I haven't had much problems with it at all. Off the chain! Amazing app By: Shad0bpm - Oct 19, 2009 Version: 2.1.1 This app for Twitter is very good! I enjoy the great features it has. I just bought my iPhone and have been looking for a Twitter for the longest and just couldn't seem to find the right one. I kid you not and I'm a real person who can say that this is my first review and I'm going out my way to write a review for Echofon. The crazy part about it was I only had the lite edittion and didn't even know what I was missing in the full version. You will enjoy the app. Follow me (shad0bpm)
A lot better By: coreyzd - Oct 15, 2009 Version: 2.1 This last update has made this my favorite Twitter app. It's a lot better than tweetie, that's for sure. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to update your location as a place name instead of longitude latitude. And maybe an auto update location feature when the app is launched.I'm sure there's other things that could be improved I just can't think of them right now. Nothing's perfect but TwitterFon Pro is the closest one for me.
