Be aware that some bad review doesn't reflect what the application is able to do, some are not able to send SMS because they don't configure the email account from the settings screen or the provider they want to use don't support the SMS via email.
For example Fido in Canada works but you need to use the username to send SMS since they no longer offer the SMS service with email (using phone). Telus doesn't offer at all the email SMS service so its not a problem from eSMS, it's a problem with the provider!!

A poweful yet interactive application. Apart from having to add your providers Prefix and Suffix, the application has a brilliant, effective and simple GUI. It is for sure worth the odd $1.19!

Good application, but having trouble using with optus. Is asking for a relay host in email setup, which i placed pop3 settings in, sends message but only to my email acct and not to the mobile sending to. Do not know if works with optus, but is one of the companies listed under australian companies.

Why do I have to manually enter contacts from my contact list instead of directly accessing it through the app? Huge no no! I will change my review and rating if this is fixed. I need to access my contacts quickly and easily not enter them all over again!! Peace

(uk user) Downloaded despite bad reviews. They were right. Cannot get it to work. Instructions need to be clearer re setting up email. Website of little use.

This application requires you to set it up with information that almost no one knows. It may work if you know how to do it, but it asks questions about providers and email accounts that need specifics more than just your email address, provider, etc. It needs to know provider name and country which seem easy enough, then prefix, which I assume is my first three digits of my phone number, and then suffix...which I have no clue what that is. But it gives examples as email addresses, not phone numbers. Then on email, it wants to know relay host? I have no idea what that is. I tried entering info the best I could, but the app totally failed. Worst $0.99 I ever spent!
