Empty and half complete messages By: KC1974 - Oct 6, 2009 Version: 1.4 This is slowly getting better, but there are still some problems:Send a message? Check the sent folder - sometimes the message you just spent 10 mins typing is blank or not all the text is there. This takes some explaining, but fortunately discussing the suckyness of the match iPhone app is a way to break the ice with the other person..Also, when replying, how about adding the original text and leaving the subject line prefilled as a reply?Any chance of the daily 5 on here? Or mutual searching? Username searching? When searching, having better "within X miles" increments? 5 or 30 or 60 isn't all that useful..Btw, when sending a message, copy the message text just incase you need to send it again, or alternatively send it on a computer or as a direct reply from your mail app.
Serves it's purpose... By: DragonFly13 - Sep 20, 2009 Version: 1.3 I have to say I was suprised by all of the negative reviews so I'm writing my own. I'm no longer a member of match because online dating was just getting to me, but I think the match app is great! It really lays out profile info and member photos very well and clearly. And I never had to pay to use the app. I don't know about the bait and switch thing with "pretty girls who wink at you to get you to subscribe and then disappear". I'm a female and never experienced that with a guy. But who knows? Well if its true thats pretty rude, but in the online dating world, banking on one possibility is wishful thinking anyway!

It's got issues, but so do I By: jrmartinez23 - Jul 11, 2009 Version: 1.3 Honestly, it's not that bad. It does have all those quirks and hiccups everyone discussed, but unless you plan on being on this app every waking second, you rarely encounter the crash issues. And if you actually take the time to read the print they provide for you, you can easily discover this app is at cost through your subscription. There is no deception here, only lazy readers who just click yes and hope for the best. I can say, though, I am growing quite tired of this app telling me there is an update, and yet no update is available. Simply put, no 5 till they fix this thing, otherwise if yr a match subscriber and happen to have an extra 5 bucks laying around every month, this is a sound, effective investment.
Match.com on the go By: D'rail - Nov 17, 2009 Version: 1.4 The most recent version of the application seems much faster and I've had very few crashes (other apps i've downloaded crash all the time). I'm always on the go so it nice to be able to quickly see who's viewed or winked at me. Profile edit is still not as robust as the site but I can live with that. If only they could figure out how to make me look like Brad Pitt they'ed have the ultimate app. :) Nice work Match, keep up the good work.
Has its good and bad By: khemp - Sep 23, 2009 Version: 1.3 I wanted to put my two cents in on this one. Yes, this app does crash occassionaly and is slow to load at times, but they're all like that to some degree. As far as the monthly fees: if you are already a match.com member, this app does not cost you anything extra to use. I called myself and asked and have been using this app for at least 5 months with no additional charges. For all y'all that are upset that they give you 2 weeks to use it for free and then charge you, well, go join and become a member. Nothing's free. And your 2 weeks free is 2 more than anybody else gets.
Xcellent App By: Jabra7 - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 1.3 I like being able to view Match.com profiles on this iPhone friendly application. I only wish that there was an optional digital-passcode prompt setup before being able to access the program. As much as I like to share and show-off the amazingness of the iPhone to friends, coworkers, and family, I would prefer to have closure in my own personal life. Otherwise I rate this application 4/5 *Stars*.

Good start-updated By: ExchangeAdmin - Nov 18, 2009 Version: 1.4 Good beginning. Needs a way to un-favorite people, and should have the standard iPhone 'tap at top' to scroll to beginning of page. Would be nice to include more of the website features, also, such as the 'match words' and what you have in common. The search distances do need more choices, especially here in the DC area where one choice gets you past Baltimore from Virginia! Also needs way to see winks you've sent as well as received. If it doesn't match (sorry) the web version, it's really not useful.
finally getting there.... By: pspm - Nov 17, 2009 Version: 1.4 Much better in terms of stability and performance from older version.
Good improvements By: The brainiac - Nov 17, 2009 Version: 1.4 The site has really improved its performance issues and I immensely enjoy talking to the ladies. I have been on a couple of dates and do not regret them at all.
Match app rox By: peepJenn - Nov 17, 2009 Version: 1.3 I like it - can do stuff on my account easily from anywhere and it works great! It's also fun to check out profiles when I get bored
Upgrade! By: Wolverine1999 - Nov 16, 2009 Version: 1.4 Current version is working really well. I haven't had any crashing issues others are talking about. I can check in on my matches, emails, connections at any time from my phone. I no longer play games on my iPhone...my Match Mobile application is my newest addiction.

great! By: bananner19 - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.4 This app makes easy to check things on the go! And I don't experience the crashing in the new version that many people have complained about. They must have fixed the issue in v1.4.
much better! By: bes1945 - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 1.4 Finally, the crashes seem to be gone in the new version! This version is MUCH better. Seems like Match.com finally listened to all the reviews on here.
Finally By: AttilaTheHon - Oct 2, 2009 Version: 1.4 Ok I'm finally able to go 20 mins without this thing crashing on me. Also loving the more profile info - I don't have to wink at someone who is not looking for someone like me (north of 20 lbs overweight). Now if only the app had a way to search for hot women who totally dug world of warcraft ...

Great App! By: Thony1001 - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 1.3 The search feature and the ability to view pictures of potential matches are really cool. It's a good alternative to going directly to the site... I'd love to see a live map feature in the next release - if possible...
