The easiest way to post to Tumblr. By: jkevinwolfe - Sep 28, 2008 Version: 1.1.1 After testing the free Tumblr apps, I found this one to be the best. Logging in the first time was simple. Posting is extremely easy and fast: tap a media method on the opening screen, tap a field and start typing, hit the post button when done. If you're just looking to post fast to Tumblr (and isn't that what Tumblr is all about?) you got it. As it, it has worked flawlessly for me. There's room for improvement, but I hope the developers keep thing as simple as they are right now
Fantastic client, and just in time for my switch to Tumblr! By: davebc - Sep 23, 2008 Version: 1.1.1 Absolutely love the client, and I'm not experiencing any of the sluggishness that others mentioned. This offers everything I need for on-the-go Tumblr blogging, especially control over tagging a post and setting it to private. The ability to quickly check my Tumblr Dashboard to catch up on Tumblr bloggers I follow is also very handy, especially for those "got a minute while waiting in line" moments. A gorgeous UI and full set of Tumblr features scored Tumble a spot on my first iPhone Home screen. Excellent work!
A Worthwhile Tumblr App By: SVKinAZ - Aug 13, 2008 Version: 1.0 First off, thank you to the developers for creating this application. I have been waiting for a Tumblr app for the iPhone for a long time. Best of all, this app is free which is the reason I give it four stars instead of just three. Keep in mind that I am reviewing version 1.0 of this app. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it still needs a little polish. There are a few bugs that need fixed and usability tweaks it could use. Perhaps the most annoying bug right not is that the app gives you no indication that you are logged in to your Tumblr account (which is strange since their screen shots show this), nor is there any verification that your post has been sent successfully. Without the Tumblr dashboard, these two confirmations are essential. As I mentioned, there is no dashboard of your posts and people you follow. I can live without that however it would be nice to see it added in a future release. Perhaps the nicest feature is the ability to post photos by either taking a new picture or using one from your camera roll. You can also caption the photo accordingly. I find this easier than trying to e-mail a photo to Tumblr and including the caption as the subject. Another feature is the QuickPost if you want to (as the name implies) very quickly post something. I think the developers must have had Twitter in mind when they added this feature. There is no documentation for the app, but by experimenting I was able to discover that it will support HTML tags. I would prefer to see dedicated buttons for things like italics and bold text as typing HTML tags on the iPhone can be a real pain (not to mention it really screws up the words that the iPhone's keyboard "learns"). All in all, it's still a worthwhile app. If you're a Tumblr user, there is no reason not to download it. It's free, and I sure that with future updates, this app will keep getting better and better.

Tumblr! By: primitivemachine.net - Aug 11, 2008 Version: 1.0 It's Tumblr for iPhone! See tests here: http://primitivemachine.net/tagged/tumble_test Although it's a little rough, everything works! Great job Bitfire guys! Login needs to be mandatory and occur on first run. Chat needs more structure to be useful. (I have a few ideas) We need some way to grab links from safari, or a bookmarklet to go the other direction.
Great Tumblr App By: NerdyBlog - 19-Aug-2008 Version: 1.1 This application does just what the description says! I love it and hope to see more social networks get on the app store bandwagon!
simply great - just like tumblr By: th0s - Jan 1, 2009 Version: 1.1.2 this app is simple, just like tumblr on the web, minus the video post function. this is the best way to update your tumblr when you're away from your computer. really great app for an incredible service.
Simple and easy to use By: Army Drummer - Oct 28, 2008 Version: 1.1.1 Would love to see a feature to view the user's dashboard.
Very Useful By: MBJustice - Aug 16, 2008 Version: 1.0 Works very well. I wish there was support for multiple accounts and ability to edit and view Tumblr. But other than that it is a super application. Thanks!
Thanks + request By: sprince - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.0 Thank you for the great free app! Perfect for taking pictures and tumbling them quickly. But, please add support for multiple tumblogs on the same account. This is a beta feature now but will be on the main site soon. 5 stars if this is implemented elegantly.
Shows lots of promise By: Gabriel Sky - Aug 13, 2008 Version: 1.0 This a great start to what the Tumblr guys should have offered themselves. All the basics are here, and the photo option from the phone itself is the best feature. Please remember, the Dashboard has little to no API support, so any app not written by the Tumblr staff will not be able to access this feature effectively.

@soco187 By: Tal At - Aug 12, 2008 Version: 1.0 There is no API for the tumblr dashboard, therefor it cannot be replicated. Overall this app is good for doing some basic stuff. Unfortunately this is about as good as the tumblr API will allow any developer to go.
Pretty Good! By: aarow75 - Aug 11, 2008 Version: 1.0 I've been waiting for a good Tumblr app and this one fits the bill nicely. Gives all of the posting options except Video and Audio (naturally). And best of all it's free! I'd give it 5 stars if it let me edit my existing posts and supported filtering and following features.
Good app By: Eragon117 - 1-Mar-2009 Version: 1.1.2 I've found one bug so far- when typing a character such as >€£¥>,etc it cuts off the rest of the message when you send it
Simple and works great! By: Billy H. - 12-Aug-2008 Version: 1.1.2 Does exactly what I wanted.
Just what I've been waiting for... By: Far - 11-Aug-2008 Version: 1.0 This does just what it says and at the perfect price, thanks!
It would be great to see some of the advanced posting options like tags in a future update, as well as a link to view your dashboard directly from the app.
A very useful, easy to use and FREE app! By: Lloydie39 - 03-Mar-2009 Version: 1.1.2 This app is ridiculously easy to use and makes posting anything to tumblr possible anywhere. A very worth while download!!
Very good By: Jefflyall94 - 24-Aug-2008 Version: 1.1 Better than lifecast in my opinion as you can choose content type, could improve with geotag and few other features this could become ultimate blogging tool :-)
