Twitpocalypse, a Twitter bug, that's what's making it crash. After Twitter reached over two million updates in total, a fatal error occurred... Well, not really FATAL, but bad. Some Twitter clients crashed, including Twitterrific. Now the bug has been fixed, Iconfactory developed a update and sent it to Apple, Apple has to approve of it. When it is approved, it'll be sent to the App Store. Then, you update Twitterrific, and then the bug is fixed! I'm using TwitterFon right now, and I really miss Twitterrific. This app is currently my favourite app.

when mid-tweet, there's no way to @link to someone without typing their whole username, other apps i have seen store people you follow as a list of usernames like an address book so you can @reply by selecting their name, much easier than trying to remember usernames. i know it has the function to toggle a quick look at the feed, but as far as i can see i still have to manually type my @replies in (no i'm not talking about the @reply being the start of the tweet, that i understand the reply, but to put it med stream or multiple people in one tweet it becomes bothersome.)

A must have app for twitter users. Slick interface; very well done. Easy to use, works almost perfectly. A few minor glitches; mainly: scrolling can be a bit slow, messages you type don't appear until you hit refresh, although they will appear on Twitter properly so it isn't a big deal. The ads show up as tweets and are pretty sparse; not obtrusive at all. It is worth buying the full version to support the developers and definately worth downloading the trial. It won't disappoint.

Twitterrific is a great app with a nice polished gui. I had it before v2 and version2 is definitely a very good improvement. Currently being plagued by a bug caused by the tremendous number of tweets, but 2.0.2 is awaiting Apple for approval. For the idiots giving it a bad review, do some research before you actually knock the app to one star. It deserves 5, not the 1 you're slamming it for for this error.

If you can't use the simple search function on the Twitter site to find out why Twitterrific (and other Twitter apps) aren't working, you haven't the intelligence to handle technology! The very top paragraph on this description page spells it out. Thanks Oprah and Ashtoon for bringing these kinds of people to Twitter! My favorite Twitter app. Can't wait until Apple approves the update. P.S. The paid version is over-priced. Lower it and I'll buy it.

Simply a great app. I have been using it for about a week now and I love it. It is better than any of the other Twitter apps I have used and this one is even free! The ads are easy to ignore but if they bother you there is also an ad free version for a couple bucks. The only things this app doesn't have are push notifications ( which I haven't seen on any other Twitter app) and it doesn't have a way to look through your followers. Great app otherwise.

I lost count of the new updates, great new features, maybe a few to many, all seem to work accept for the favourites area, and I'm not quite sure what marked tweets are. New bird sounds is a plus for me, may seem menial but it's part of the reason ive been sat on the fence between twitterfon and twitteriffic, also like the fact there's mutiple photo sites incase Twitpic is down, and that I am able to retweet, and post links from safari. 1 simple update I'd like to see is a light blue theme to fill that twitterfon void, great work you must of worked hard on the new updates especially considering it's still free. 5*****

This is one of the apps I have most been waiting for and it doesn't disappoint.  It works like a charm, and has beautiful and thoughtful design--that goes without saying.  Here is one of my favorite things: when you are typing a tweet, as you get down in the single digits, the letter count changes color to alert you that you are almost out of space.  It reminds me of one of my all-time favorite iPhone features: how the camera icon rotates on the camera when you switch to landscape mode.  It's just a small, thoughtful detail.  It doesn't improve how the app functions, but it shows care in fitting in with the whole feel of the phone and user experience.  I absolutely love it.  I'm sure I will be upgrading as soon as I upgrade the phone.

Amazing app, does everything I want it to, apart from a few things such as seeing who other people are following etc and one major flaw - THERE IS A BUG THAT KEEPS HAPPENING (yajl error 3) it's annoying as it happens all the time but when it doesn't it is a brilliant app that lets you do the main thing you need to do - Tweet! *****EDIT - it's a bit late but it works perfectly now as the bug has gone. Five stars!! *****

Great App! It does everything I need it to do in a clean easy to use interface.i barely use the actual Twitter website anymore; I just use this App. It's intuitive but if anything stumps you Twitteriffic has some great, quick online video tutorials which will REALLY help you master all the features. Even the banner ads in this free version are not that intrusive to the overall experience. Highly recommended to EVERYONE!

I've used all the twitter apps free and paid, but Twitterrific is my default "go-to" app. I could list features all day, but really that's not why you'll love this app. The attention to detail is the secret sauce that makes it really shine. From the inclusion of little icons for my different twitter accounts to the lovely auto-rotating web-view, every feature has been implemented with the greatest care. Finally, if you can't love the tweeting birds sound, you have a black heart and deserve some other second-class twitter app.

So i didn't really like the whole twitter thing! bbut now i am in love with it! and looked at so many twitter apps for the iphone and i think i downloaded it about 4 or 5 of them and the best so far was this one. Twitterrific actually ......was THE BEST TWITTER APP on the app store! so i love it! now that the update 2.0 came out! i am in love even more! IT'S AMAZING!!! 5/5 i SAY! and best part is FREE!! so it's a MUST HAVE!

This is easy to use, straightforward and nicely designed. If you like Twitter, you'll like this. I have not experienced any crashing or slowness at all. Tweeting is easy and you can add a picture or location information if you really want to. I don't see what else is needed for a Twitter app to be honest. If you can't bear the advertising you can buy an advert-free version but to be honest, the ads are not particularly intrusive so I wouldn't bother. If you Twitter, you need Twitterific.

This has to be the best Twitter application out there. Completely worth the download, and I don't even believe that the premium version is worth the download since the ads that are involved with the app are barely noticeable. Easy to use, works great with posting links and photos. Also all the themes are very appealing, as well as the cute bird noises that are optional when new tweets are added to the timeline. If you are looking for a Twitter app, this by far the only one worth it.

Or click that screen and you can then access a link within the tweet for example. With Twitterrific just click the tweet within the feed, press it again to take you straight to the profile! That's it, or click the tweet in the feed and it highlights the link to a website, just click the link within the tweet. So simple. Also the app does everything and more of what any paid for app will do. The best of the bunch

Twitterrific was the application for Mac that made Twitter useful in an elegant and convenient way; Iconfactory has done it again and made it mobile with this application for iPhone and iPod Touch. It has an incredibly well-designed and fluid user interface that makes keeping tabs on a multitude of tweets simple and easy. It also comes in a premium version for $10 and is definitely worth it, but as usual, they offer a full-featured version version for free with minimal ads. Hands-down the best Twitter client for iPhone, try it.

Hands down best Twitter app with tons of features not found on other but no features missing that other apps have, at least I didn't find any. A huge update! Only complaint is there are so many options and features a help section or optional help guide is needed to speed up the learning curve. It's not confusing but I keep finding things and a help section would save a bunch of time. Great job!!!

This app is well designed and looks awesome on my iPod Touch 32G. I've had no problems with it. White letters on a black background looks very sophisticated and is easy to read. I can set it to retrieve the public timeline or just tweets from my friends list. You can't translate foreign tweets like Twittervision,though, so I stick to the friends list and retrieve @ and direct replies. No complaints.

When I first started using twitter on my iPhone, twitterrific was the first app I used. Over time, I kept installing other twitter clients as most of them offer more advanced feature. But in the end, I keep returning to twitterrific and uninstalling those other apps. There is just something about the simplicity and direct approach of twitterrific that those other apps couldn't duplicate. All those "advanced features" just made acessing twitter take more of my time.

Well I won't lie I use tweetdesk more than twitterrific cause is kinda easier for me. But twitterrrific I use it more to read comments that people make to other Twitter people by cocking the *star* symbol and than clicking the @author button that part is amazing the reason I like this app eventhought I use tweetdesk to post my tweet that the first app I click already So anywho this app is not bad at all it had the different bewtween the other one that I used they are unique in different ways if use which I enjoy doing in both app
