It's easy to use, allows you to maintain your privacy and still communicate with other users. Whether you want to meet a new friend, make a date, or find someone to have a "phomance" with, this app is the best one out there so far. Developers beware- you're on the right path. Once the gays latch onto something, the rest of the civilized world will soon follow! Just look what we did with hair product and manscaping?

This is by far the best app. I use it all the time and it's great to see a developer actually listen to user feedback and continue to make an already great app better. Woul b neat to see you add a feature to be able to send short video clips and be notified when your texing a user and you have another text come in from someone else. Keep up the great work. Love this app 10 stars if it would allow us to give them out!!!!

This app is really good, so much fun,. I don't know why everyone says it crashes all the time because for me, it never crashed once. And this thing really needs a search tool, to search peoples names. I talked to this ahmazing guy but we stopped talking for awhile and I couldn't find him because too many other people messages me. I should be able to search his name and all the people with that name in my age range should appear, please consider this. If you don't want to do this make the search bar feature cost .99 cents. Ohkay bye. (;

I couldn't get the 2.0 update to work, it just either sat at the loading screen or crashed immediately. I just reinstalled it and now it works fine. The biggest update to this app has to be the WiFi calling feature which is genius. I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it'll work and that's a huge leap in an app like this. I think the key to the success of any social networking app is to have the most people and you get the most people by being the easiest, accessible, and safe app with the most features. This application is just that and I wish everyone would leave all of the other apps that attempt to play WhosHere in its own game because they just can't win.

Okay so I don't typically write reviews on here but I had to write something about this one. I had been using loopt for awhile now when a friend had told me about this app and so I downloaded it just to check it out and I must say I was impressed. I liked the way the app worked but I did see areas for improvement so when I saw the link for suggestions I figured what the heck and I clicked it. Now I know this is a rare situation and as this app gets bigger and better it won't always be like this but I was very suprised to get a personalized response to my suggestion and now I will be following this app and would probably even pay for it.
This app has features that loopt is missing - with loopt if you want to write someone you have to close out and go to email but this allows you to do more of a IM based communication which is awesome - one flaw is you don't know you have a new message unless you are in the app which is not a huge deal for me. The only thing that I was unsure of for this app (the suggestion I had) was it was a little low on the uptake for viewing other peoples pictures which I've already responded to there inquiry on my suggestion. Other then that I had made mention to using mapping like Loopt does and I'd be sold and have to change completely over and they said they are already in discussion to see if that is something they want / can do.
Bottom line - GET THIS APP!

This is a sweet social networking app! I'm so surprised that there are not more apps like this in the store. I do agree with others that a filter and search function would be nice. I really like the fact that you can upload a full res pic that can be displayed full screen on your iPhone. There also needs to be a tell-a-friend e-mail link to grow the member base. I'm glad to see the next release will address the battery issues 'cause this app will drain your battery faster than George Bush has depleted the federal budget. I'm really looking forward to seeing this app evolve.

I just got off a call with a friend 2500 miles away and the sound quality was better than when we talked using phone numbers!!You may have to delete and reinstall for the app to work right. I was having some of the same issues mentioned already. Kept crashing after I entered my password. I just kept trying and eventually is connected. Took forever for it to come up and looked funky when it did. So I closed it and reopened and it worked great! But my friend had to delete and reinstall for it to work properly! The new features are wonderful!! No more getting unwanted pics!! Yay! 

Great App. I love the concept. What a super way to meet people! I have not had any weirdos yet but when I do I will block. The recent update added nice features. I hope the developers continue to make improvements. This app is limitless. Now it is up to users to make it work better. Yes, tons more users are needed. Even in LA area there are few users. Also, people need to be considerate. This is a wonderful way to connect people.

I wasn't sure about this application when I first got it. After using it for a day or two I actually decided to message some of the people on my list, and ended up having great conversations. Though there many not be many people on, this tool still gives a better set of results than any of the other social apps in the store. I can see how the contact list may be very short in some places but the more people who get this app, the larger it will become.
My only real complaint was that the distances are in kilometers but after using the Feedback tool inside the application I discovered that the developers are adding a 'miles' option in the next release. My point is, if you're actually going to use the program and dislike it for any reason, TELL THEM! Don't just come back here and give it a low rating.
Kudos for an amazing app, and kudos for actually listening to the feedback of the users.

This app is good but also has a dangerous side. As it shows your location how far u are from someone in miles but if u appear near they can try and come closer to find your location where u are not safe!! There can be prevs so please this app is good but it's unsafe I came encounter with this problem I had to switch of and delete the app because some guy kept asking mr where I was then I looked at his distance it changed and he wasn't far from me !! Please fix!!

And I have seen this app change alot. For the better actually. My problem is these broads don't want to talk or reach out to us men. Get over your selves ladies. Its hard enough being a guy and puting up with your femail egos. I mean I don't bother anyone I'm not a perv. I would make some girl so happy they just keep going past me for the d bag with what ever trendy bs he's doing. Soo a big boo to you stuck up women. Your missing out on the man who dosnt Beleave in the old hit and run.Smootches.

This app is honestly the best social networking platform available. I originally reviewed this with one star after the awful 1.02 update but now that the 1.02b version is available my love of Whoshere has been restored. As a side note, the creator of this app is so helpful and friendly. If you have a problem he is quick to help, just message him or email support! They can't help you when you only mention it in reviews!

This is an absolutley brilliant app. It's great for making new friends! However, once I was about to sign off, and I must have accidentally brushed the "Edit" button. When I got back on, one of my friends was gone. Maybe move the edit button? I don't know... It would be great if there was a search engine where you can type in a name and find someone you were looking for?? It might actually be someone you know! Overall a really good app! Keep it up! xx :D

WhosHere's proprietary search features almost always find someone matching your description and, as more people use it, the distances from you will get smaller and smaller. When you find someone you want to talk with you can text message them within WhosHere itself. There are no SMS fees and there is absolutely no need to give out your phone number, email or IM address...That is unless you want to…and meet that new friend or special someone.

So the first realease was great then came the update, there was problems updating so i didnt. Now there is a new update an whoshere adressed the problems of the last update so i tried it now every thing is better just a few tweaks for making calls and this program is golden. Made a friend in thailand and we have now spoken on the phone and agree i shouldnt take a trip to thailand cause am not good at spraking it lol, but am learning thankz whoshere. I love this app and i hope u try it and feel the same

While there are certainly things that could be done to improve it, this app is well on it's way to being a big hit. I'm giving it five stars so that potential users will be encouraged by the higher rating ... user population will be a big key to the success/failure of this one!
Suggestions:
- Change the font that is used when typing a message
- Horizontal (big) keyboard for messages ... if possible
- Have a interests/likes/dislikes section in the profile (simple is best, just space for a few words would be great)
- Have a "Locate on Map" feature (user permission has to be granted, though)

This app is realy adictive .yes it crashes r freezes every now and then ,but the way around it is totaly switch your phone off and back on again ,it sorts the prob out ,yes you prob do get some pervs on here but I would have thought you would get some on most chat sights . as for the ppl who say the app is totaly crap as ther is no one near me,how is that the apps fault ,andto the person who wants to stop the app sendin messages on like text ,you have the push forward function set to to so .go into your settins and switch it off ,to those who do disside to get this app I'll c u there .and ps my spellin dosent get any better .have fun :-)

I liked this app alot..I used it all the time. Its very addicting but then one day I tried to opened it and they said my account was locked. I was so confused. They said something about wrong usage and I already read their rules and agreement. I really didn't do anything wrong. Its unreasonable to kick me off for no reason..but other than that I met alot of great people on their but there are also a bunch of pervs.

This app is great, I LOVE IT!! If it wasn't for this app my wife and I would have never met... Haha jk.. But it is a rly good app a lil slow sometimes tjo but no big deal.. I enjoy it for waiting around. Ya know like for the bus or something while bored and my wife's busy at work. Just sign in and have "SOME" beautiful ladies to to browse through and look at or just a nice casual talk..
