This is a great app for people looking to track their golf statistics. I love that you can keep track of GIR, Fairways, putts chips and almost everything else when it comes to stats. The handicap tracker is also nice but there is a little problem with the slope and rating part becuz it only lets you go up so high when entering the rating for a new course. I highly recommend this app ! It would be great if the developer could incorporate a GPS distance to pin option also.

I thought I had spent $25 for a nice scorecard and that the rangefinder was pretty tacky. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW GREAT THE RANGEFINDER IS NOW!!! Thank you for hearing me whine about it. All the best aspects of the other rangefinder apps are here. Well worth the price if you don't want to spend $250-$400 on a quality gps for golf, I already paid that for my phone. It's nice to see a really polished app from what was first available. Thanks againMatt

I have been using this application for a while and I have watched it progress at an amazing rate. The main thing that impressed me is that updates to this application are very frequent and the developer makes tremendous improvements EVERY update. Not just a small fix here and there.
The new ability to edit the course via your PC and the AppSafe program and mark all your positions via the Google Maps view of your course is incredibly easy. I could not believe how easy it was to have my course completely mapped, which included multiple positions on every hole. The AppSafe program was available for my Macbook Pro and worked perfectly to not only backup all the data from the iPhone but also upload the marked courses.

I was skeptical at first about the ease of keeping score while on the course since I mostly walk... I am skeptical no more! Keeping score is fast even when entering strokes, sand saves, greenies, fairways hit, etc. It's faster than I can write! Entering players and courses is a breeze as well. I also really like being able to backup my scores using AppSafe. Great job! Looking forward to the betting features...

Great App with Handicap Calculator

This is an excellent application. It allows you to track most aspects of your game and, most importantly, it calculates your handicap using the USGA handicap formula. This is crucial because it allows you to see the impact that the course rating and slope have on your handicap depending upon which tee you use and whether you are a man or woman. The developer is very responsive to questions and has improved the app significantly since my wife and I first started using it. We can't wait to see the next release.

For years I've been trying to tracky gold performance on my computer. I want to identify strong and weak areas of my game as the season goes along. I've used several online services and have made several attemps to build my own spreadsheet. Nothing worked. Until I tried Golf Card. IT'S ALL RIGHT HERE. Everything I need to track my game in an easy to use package. And I don't have to rekey my scorecard; it's all done in one step while I'm on the course. The graphics are superb and I can track putts, chips, bunker shots, GIR and fairways hit or missed (left or right). I can even note which club I used off the tee for future reference. And I have a complete list of the courses I play with complete contact info; it's a breeze to call for tee times. And I've never had better customer service: each of my emails with a question or suggestion gets a prompt useful reply, usually within a few hours. Gold Card is the best golf performance tracking and analysis tool I've ever seen. And it's all on my iPhone so I can review rounds anytime, anywhere. Obviously I strongly recommend this App to anyone who wants to anayze his golf game. Minnesota Man.

If you take the time to compare the app to the others feature by feature GolfCard beats Golfshot, Airvue, View Ti Golf and the rest. Enough has been said about this but the intangible feature, and what puts this over the top is that the developer makes himself available to all his users and listens to their input, responds to them personally, updates frequently and quickly. No standard "form letter" responses. To be honest I wouldn't mind a reasonable annual fee because of the great customer support and frequent updates.

This app is a must for any golfer. I never go golfing without it. Inputing scores are simple for when your on the move and the range finder is exellent. The record keeping is great too. I can look back on past games and see which holes I'm haveing more trouble with and even see which clubs I used the last time I played yhe hole. I can look at a birds eye view of the hole and see where would be the best angles to play from. Overall exellent job guys.

This application is a valuable addition to your golf gear and demonstrates yet again how versatile the iPhone is. It uses a simple-to-use software interface that takes advantage of the iPhone's GPS features and speed, giving you a full-featured range finder and course mapper for a lot less cost than other products, and there is only a one-time fee. In addition, the scorecard feature is robust, letting you keep track of all of your scores and other statistics like GIRs, fairways hit, putts and bunker shots. That's not all. You can upload your scores to a website and it will track of all of your data and calculate your handicap. At first I was surprised that my course wasn't already in the database, but it was easy to enter all the data and now my golf buddies and I are taking advantage of its capabilities as we map more of our course's landmarks, hazards, tees and greens. I've also dowloaded a half-dozen other courses in the area and can't wait to take it on my next golfing vacation.

This is the first time I've bothered to review an app. What got me to review this one? The AMAZING support by the developer!
I was having problems connecting to the AppSafe program and the developer was incredibly responsive. We exchanged emails and got it to work. It wasn't just his quick responses, it was the tone of the emails where you could tell that he really cared about my problem and really wanted to help me solve it.
In this day and age where we've all got used to crappy support, it was refreshing to see someone stand behind their product so well.

Amazing Application with even better support.

This is a great application that is only going to get better.
The ability to track scores and get an overview from the iPhone is far easier and more complete than any other application -- or any of the other GPS solutions sold.
I was blown away by the customer service from Senygma and can't wait to see updates to GolfCard from them and future applications.
Keep up the great work.

This is a really well thought out system that makes it easy to enter the courses and scores.With satellite maps, GPS, online course datsbase... what _doesn't_ this have now?? I've loaded a few of the cheaper pay and play courses around SW London area...take a look.Been my favorite Golf app for nearly a year, and although I keep an eye on the others, I have to say this is in a leauge by itself now. Really impressed by the latest update as well, nice improvements - keep them coming and stay ahead guys!I'd really like to see one thing please:Other play types, e.g. Match play, foursomes, best ball, skins. I want to be able to enter normal strokes to keep my stats building, but see a running Match Play score, and a total at the end...

This is my first review - buying this app has forced me to write one!I've been waiting for a simple scorecard app that handles multiple players for some time now and chose this for that purpose. The fact that my local tiny course was listed was a great bonus and the extra info you can add whilst scoring is very useful! I'm going to write a suggestion on how to streamline the input and fingers crossed - they'll consider it as I've read the support is amazing! Cheaper than I thought it was going to be makes this a thumbs up from me!! 

I purchased this App about a month ago. Overall I was pleased but felt like there were a few things that made the App not very intuitive for the average golfer. I emailed my suggestions to the programmer and recived immediate feedback. I think the changes have vastly improved this product. I used Intelligolf in the past on my Windows Smart Phone. I paid $20 every year for it. This App does almost as much for a one time fee that is half as much. Golfers know, we spend money. This App costs less than two sleeves of Pro Vs and is well worth it.

Outstanding app. Integration with oobgolf.com is the key (a great website with free use). You can download course info from their huge database and upload your scores and statistics instantly following a round to keep your handicap. I haven't used the rangefinder in action, but it seems very easy to use after playing around with it. They also offer a sweet (free) program to mark course points (tee, green, hazards etc.) on your CPU to load onto your phone. This will speed GPS use on the course, but is not necessary for use of the range finder. As far as customer support, I had a question about the program and emailed them on a Sunday afternoon. I got a reply less than 5 minutes later. Awesome.

Great App and continues to get better...

There are so many golf scoring apps out there and it's hard to tell which to buy. It was between TeeShot, View Ti and GolfCard for me. I am more than happy I bought this one...It's easy to use (quick on the course) and has great features. The graphs and tables are great to analyze your game, plus it's easy to upload to OobGolf.com (with a free account) which gives you even more analysis.The best part is that this app is continually improving. There have been many updates since I bought it just a month and a half ago and I don't think that the developer has any intention of stopping.A quick note: I emailed him on a Sunday afternoon with some suggestions and he got back to me within a hour. Impressive and I think I am not alone with that kind of experience.This is a must have for a golfer of any level...UPDATE: The rangefinder is awesome! It's easy to mark the course if you know it (took me 10 min. in AppSafe). It's great on the course...you can find distance to anything by touching the picture of the hole.

These guys are some of the best DEV's out there! Not only for the great updates that they keep coming out with but also their quick and very helpful email responses! I have a laser range finder and this App comes very close every time. I really wanted the score card feature and the ability to upload to OobGolf so that I can track my handicap, so most of the time I leave the laser in the bag. All I can say is that this is a great App and I won't playy a round without it now!

This is brilliant. I've used it several times now and have really been bowled over by it's usefulness. It's accuracy is very good - I didn't trust one reading as it looked further than it said, so decided to take an extra club, and over shot the green - my playing partner was dead impressed and even more so when I Emailed him the score/stat spreadsheet as soon as we'd finished. The documentation is V.clear and adding new courses couldn't be easier. And - IT'S ONLY A FIVER! This has saved me at least a couple of hundred quid on a dedicated GPS unit.

Excellent golf tool! Rock Solid!

The electronic golf card is very useful. Tracking GIR, fairways hit, putts, chips, etc. is critical to any golfer improving there game and alone is worth $4.99. Some of you out there spend a lot more than that buying skinny tees and other gimmicks. Tracking your statistics and practicing your weakness' will shave more strokes off your game than any gimmick on the market and that's what this application does seamlessly. As far as the range finder... it's a great tool with a lot of potential and surprisingly accurate most of the time. I agree with other reviews that speed is not always up to par and can sometimes slow you down. Fix that and this app is flawless.

I score for the group of us that play regularly together. This application is just what we needed for focussing upon the parts of our game that need attention. I only use it on the iTouch so I cannot speak to the gps functions, but as a valuable scoring tool we love it. We now all have oobgolf accounts and track useful details about our game. Next update looks even better with per hole averages and game summary.
