I have been using GolfLogix's first version 1.0 for the past 2 months. I play golf once per week and I played with their new version 1.1 this morning. I have been sending emails encouraging GolfLogix to improve their app and they did it, plus more than I was expecting. With their new battery setting pop-up I know I will always make it through a full round of golf. I can now put my score in whenever I want whereas the previous version made me wait until after I putted. It also has a pop up for GPS accuracy. I will post again when I have more rounds under my belt but so far, this app rocks!

I have been playing golf for 40 years and I always found yardages the old fashioned way. This past christmas, my kids suprised me by giving me an Iphone. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the darn thing and my son showed me how to download the golflogix. We used it today and it was easier to use than I thought it would be. For an old guy, I liked how clear, colorful and large the text is. Most importantly, the yardages were correct. Works for this old guy.

I was intrigued with this application because I usually like to play rinky-dink golf courses that are in remote areas. I do not like to play at courses that are lined with houses or office buildings. Anyhow, this gps by Golflogix claimed to offer over 24,000 course maps worldwide so I put it to the test. I was pleasantly suprised to find that my remote courses were available and the website also says to call if a course isn't listed so I can deal with that. I was also suprised to find out that the yardages were pretty good so I think that I will subscribe.

Used it this morning and i got to say that the yardages were dead on and the graphics were crisp and easy to read even in the bright sun. I am glad there is finally a Golf GPS app from a trusted brand name like GolfLogix. I went on their site and they have over 24,000 courses mapped which is way more than any of the other iPhone golf apps that are available and since they have been in the business for a long time the maps should be very accurate. It was very easy to enter my stats and at the end of the round the stat graphics wow'd the other guys in my 4-some......highly recommend giving it a try.....i am hooked!

This is an amzing work of art. This application looks and works really good. I can view my score cards after every game of golf. Thats really nice. Shows me the amount of birdies I get and how well my golf games are and if they are getting better or not. With the application I can improve myself slowly with time! Thanks to whoever invented this amazing peice of work! I would recommend buying after the free trial!!

I just used the golflogix free trial app today on my home couse. I was excited to use it because it was free and because I could use it on my phone. Unfortunatley, it did drain my battery halfway thru but it is my fault because now I realize that I should have adjusted my power settings. I am going to go ahead a purchase a membership because while I was able to use it, I really liked the program. I think I may even purchase the extra battery charger. It does cost roughly $60 but for a total of $100 for the charger and membership it is totally worth it; comparared to other systems.

This application ROCKS! I am very impressed that this application could keep up with me. Some of the other applications I have tried on here freeze on me all the time. This application has not frozen on me once! I love that! Just for that alone, it is worth purchasing!! If you are not sure you want to buy it, you can try it first for free for 24 hours then buy it. My only regret for this application is not buying it earlier!! Highly Recommended!

Sometimes I feel that I am at a disadvantage when I play at a new course with my buddies who are regulars at that course. For this reason, I use a gps system to help me out. I like this new application by golflogix because it gives me the basic info that I need. All I really need to know is the correct (if not close) yardages to bunkers, water and the green. This app gives me this info and I am excited to download more courses.

This is the coolest application I have ever gotten for my phone! It is sick!! If you golf and you in college, I would recommend it highly! It is amazing because it is a free trial to test it. I tested it and loved it, so I bought the application. For adults and seniors, I would recommend this as well. It works with you to tell you all the things you need to know to help you improve your game!! Thanks again golf gps!!

If you are a trainer or an avid golfer, this is for you! Perfect for teaching students on how to play or how many yards away everything is!! How hard they would need to hit it, everything you could possible think of for learning is in this device! If you are just learning how to play golf or play it all the time, this is for you. It is cost effective too! Worth every price for the membership though!!

I tried the first version of this application and my battery died =/ But, I tried this version and it reminded me to change the settings for my battery. I did so and it lasted the full 18 holes and then still had about 34% left on it. I was impressed! I love the new version and purchased it shortly after trying it again. I also called their support number to try it again and got right through! Fast & friendly!! A must have for customer service and for fun use!!

This app on the iphone is comparable to other top-notch gps units on the market. Even though the Golflogix for iphone gps does not provide an aerial view it is okay with me. Sometimes, gps units aren't able to get a good picture because of cloudy weather. So you can't always rely on an aerial view. Plus, if you are any sort of a good golfer, you should be able to figure out what club to use based on basic yardage readings on the gps.

This has got to be the best range finder available! I really wish I could of bought it years ago. It helps my games a ton! Now if it could only show me how to find my balls whenever I over hit sometimes, I would be in love more then I already am(hard to do)!! But, I barely over hit now, thanks to this application! Excellent job with this application! Better then all the ones on the application store that I have tried.

I downloaded the GolfLogix application to my iphone last week and so far, so good. When I first downloaded it, I played a tree-lined course nearby in my state of Michigan. I only noticed that I didn't "get a signal' when I was standing directly under a large tree. It was a very cloudy day (as most days are here) but that did not affect a reading. When I called customer support to ask them about losing a signal, they said that the gps unit has to be exposed and have a clear pathway to the satellite. They were very helpful and as a female, I appreciate that.

Golf logix has really outdone themselves in my opinion with this app. They already have a golf gps that they charge $300 for plus a yearly subscription. This app is just about the same service, plus more features and convenience ( its right on your phone) but instead of the $300 unit it is just the yarly subscription. The price is obv good but the product also really works great which made it an easy decision for me, just after one round with thier free trail.

I have been using the golflogix app for 2 weeks and love it. I will probably delete green finder, v-caddy and air view. This app is by far the best I have used, the lay up distances are a big plus on an unfamiliar course. I manual lock my phone after hitting a shot and turn it back on when I get close to the ball and it only takes a second or two to adjust. The score card and stat feature are great too. It is worth the suscription fee.

Could be the best app on itunes!

I have searched and bought a lot of the app off of itunes, mostly games and stuff but when I came across this I thought sweet. I have heard of golf logix before and seen the regular gps in action and thought it was cool. I then saw you could do a free 24hr trail of the app so I wen ahead and downloaded it and used it the very same day at my local course. I was amazed at how well it worked, just like the other one. Then I had to have it and for $40 per year it is my most expensive app but it is still well worth it. I figure if I golf 40 times which I'm sure to golf more, then it only figures to cost $1 per round, I mean I usually tip the bag guys more than that and it would cost a lot more to have a caddie with me. This is a great app, thanks golf logix.

I live right off of a golf course and so I tested this application on my iphone during the evening of one day and the morning of the next day. I must say that if you don't know how to use your iphone, you won't be able to use this app. But, if you are a savvy iphone user, you shouldn't have a problem using the golflogix gps. The biggest issue for me is bactery life but I think that is to be expected. Another plus (and probably the most important) is that the yardages were right on.

No better value out there!

I cannot believe the people on here saying that the price is too much, are you kidding me. You cannot get half the features this app has without paying almost 10x as much. Maybe if your searching through for .99 games and stuff then yea $40 is a lot but seriously for an app that gives you hole by hole yardages to the green, to the hazards and everything else you could ever need there is no better value out there.
