Great concept; inferior results

I have Sportacular, Sports Tap, and Score Mobile, as well as this App. This is the best concept, but has worst end result. Sports Tap is the best of all. None are exact, but this one stays stuck behind by whole possessions. Sports Tap says correct score and time remaing, while this one is still behind by 10+ minutes. I watch the games and view all Apps together. Fix the lag, decrease the refresh( matter of fact, allow user to control the refresh), and show photos from current game only. Basically, correct the flaws, and I'll give it 5 stars all day long. I currently, could never depend on this App, if I wasn't watching the actual game, because it's wwaaay behindddddd. Catch up and earn my vote.

This is simply the best app there is. The layout and easy access of useful information helps any NFL fan keep track of schedules, scores and news. I am updated on everything I want to know every day before my coffee break is done. I paid for the iNFL app but this one is far better. The only problem is all of the advertisments, but still worth it for a free app. I would definitely pay for an upgrade of this app that looses the adds.

This is simply the best app there is. The layout and easy access of useful information helps any NFL fan keep track of schedules, scores and news. I am updated on everything I want to know every day before my coffee break is done. I paid for the iNFL app but this one is far better. Perfect? No, but it is the best offering in this category yet. Well worth the download, and you can't beet the price. While it may not be exactly perfect with timing, it is the only one I know of that allows you to get play by play breakdowns for the whole game! If you need perfect timing, I suggest TV or Radio, but if just getting an update will do, or want to see what you missed, then this one is for you.

I live in Reno but I'm from Atlanta. The only games guaranteed to air here are Oakland and Frisco. I can't afford the satellite option and I don't want to hang out at the bar so there you go. So far most of my games have been covered live (play by play description - not video) and that's better than nothing or just the minimal updating you get on the "ticker" with whatever game the network decided to show you

Very useful...especially when there's no TV or computer handy. What needs work, if possible, is the SmackTalk feature. It's inconvenient having to input my e-mail and name every time I want to use it. I'd rather have a log-in that can be remembered. Also, how can inappropriate comments be reported? SmackTalk should be for fun; not for vulgar comments and violent threats. It should also not be used as a forum for expressing one's political/religious points of view. Stick to the game(s)!

I originally wrote a rather negative review of this application. But I must say the latest version is much better. Does not crash on me any more, stories can be read without resetting the scroll bar every couple of seconds, data is presented for the most part in a much more professional stye. Easier to browse and faster than getting info from say ESPN. Am enjoying this now, whereas before I thought the first version was a disaster.
If you are looking for NFL news, especially if you focus on given teams instead of general news, I think this is a pretty good application now. Now if only the NYT application was this stable and fast.
Well done to the developers on a huge improvement over the first release.

I absolutely love this app. Really in depth & keeps me up to date with games not on tv. My favorite feature is the "smacktalk". I'm am addicted to it now to the point where I'm distracted from the actual game! However, there is one rather annoying glitch; when the app automatically updates (every 15 seconds or so) it will erase my verbal "smack" masterpiece before I can finish it. I then have to go back & start all over again! That is the only reason I didn't give this app a 5 star rating. Go Pats!

I love the live game football field view this app provides and I understand ads may be needed to support development. However, here is a big tip for the developer... If I am using my phone to get game coverage and not watching the game on TV or in person then the odds are read good that I am someplace where full volume is unacceptable. It is unacceptable for an app to go full volume to play an ad when I have the phone set to vibrate. It eventually became so annoying that I uninstalled.

I'm glad to see someone working on this. I think it needs just a bit of tweaking as it runs a little slow especially on 3G (I still find 3G leaving something to be desired). Many things to like about this app, such as ability to filter out teams you prefer to focus on. This includes viewing info on upcoming games, game times and stations to view them on. There are of course boxscores but also lists of scoring plays. The app also breaks down teams by AFC/NFC and of course east/north/south/west. Games played and games not started are listed. You can get a limited snapshot of team, game, and player stats for games played. Nice app to have in hand though the info can be found elsewhere with ease. It has a "Latest Photos" section but I haven't figured that out yet.
I think I added a star because it's free.

Love it!! Best NFL app out there! I would love to see a page listing all MNF games for the year, a page listing all Sunday Night games for the year, and a page listing all Thursday Night ges for the year. I would like for the standings page to list all AFC standings on the same screen, don't make me tap for each division. Separate page for NFC standings would be fine. Love the smack talk option!!

This app is awesome because if u can't get the game on tv this gives it to u.
