Rabo iTour is the worlds first and only Tour de France application.
Use Rabo iTour to simply and quickly:
* follow all the stages on a great map of France
* find your favorite riders and teams
* get updates every 30 seconds on the progress of the stage
* get daily updates of the Rabobank Procycling team
* follow all the rankings: such as the general ranking and sprinters ranking
Rabo iTour works on all iPhones and iPods Touch
Any problems can be fixed by opening the settings screen, switching the "Leeg cache" button to "on" and restarting the application.

Update: 16 July 09 - This update makes this app better than ever! It even has rider pictures. It doesn't get better than this folks. You'd be out of your mind paying for the other apps when this one blows them out of the water for free.
Great job on this app. Even though it's not in English, it's easy to figure out and navigate. Thanks for making this free. Why pay for other tour apps when this has everything.

Great TDF App

I agree that an English version of this app would be great to have, but I don't agree with those reviews that are knocking the app because this version's not. It's obvious from the screen shots that the core language isn't English.
Aside from the language issue, this app is very well done and polished. Nice graphics, near real-time results, and auto updating. I've downloaded another app to keep up with TDF '09, but it doesn't provide updated info as quickly and it's not as polished. I do hope the developer listens to the requests for an English version, though!

Well designed. Excellent graphics and clear interface. All info is well organized and easy to find.
Maps and elevation diagrams of every stage with climb ratings, elevations, climb names, sprints and even eating areas.
Complete stage rankings of every rider. Complete listings of different jersey contenders (yellow jersey, king of the mountains, etc.).
Complete team listings, with mini-bios and pictures of EVERY rider on EVERY team.
Obviously it focuses on the Rabobank team and the only downside is that it's in Dutch. Even so, most of the stats are easy enough to figure out.
I'd subtract 1/2 a star for that reason alone. BUT it's FREE!
It's clearly the best Tour de France app by a mile... 1.6 kilometers.

Fixed the crashing

Once I turned on the option in settings, which I assume deletes the cache but not speaking Dutch who knows, it loaded just fine. Thanks to the other reviewer for this tip! Only feature I can't use is the news due to language barrier. Everything else is self explainatory because you know who is in class for the jerseys.

It is in Dutch, but 90% is easy to figure out for English speakers. The live info was great and helpful to see when the peleton was approaching our village. Even better as it is a free app!

Great when it works

I loved this app for the first week of the tour - even though it is in Dutch that wasn't a problem. However, for the last few days I haven't been able to launch it successfully...I keep waiting for an update to fix this but I guess nothing is coming.

Overall a very good and easy to use app and is great for live race coverage. There are some main problems which include the crashes which occur almost every time I enter it - to recover I have to reinstall. The coverage of the jerseys is unaccurate and often wrong. Would it be possible to provide an English version as well. Could be 5 stars.

Even though it's in Dutch I can understand enough to get a lot out of this app. I'm only giving it 3 stars since it crashes a lot. I have to delete it and resync my apps - annoying, but its worth it. It has a nice interface, lots of info and I like the feature where you touch on a riders name and they give some info. The only feature I'm not able to use because it is in Dutch is the "Nieuws." Everything else...no problem!!
