If you're tired of logging into hotspots with Safari then Easy Wi-Fi is for you. You need to work through the initial setup, where you tell the Application which WiFi services you use. I found very helpful to consult the user manual referred to on the store description. After that, all you need to do to login at a hotspot is launch Easy WiFi and it does the work for you. The application supports lots of hotspot services, both commercial and free.

Downloaded it, but it didn't have an entry for my local (public) wifi hotspot. I submitted the details via Devicescape's website for adding new HotSpots, and it was added in under 24 hours. First try didn't work because I neglected to include some info; emailed more info and they had it working in under 4 hours. Phenomenal customer service!
When combo'd with "backgrounder", this app keeps me logged in all day. Fantastic.

one touch wifi login app that works well. i use it to logon to my uni campus wireless. you have to register your device on the devicescape website, then login again in the app. once that is done, you can browse included wireless list or add your own network.i use it everyday, as i get kicked out of wifi after 20min of inactivity, so this app saves my typing in my pass every time (shame on safari for not storing passwords, i have to use 1password). the app works as advertised, so have absolutely no problems with it. the setup/registration is a bit tricky, but it's all good from then on..

I go to school at Bowling Green State University and was extremely annoyed when I got my new iPhone because I would have to manually login to the wi-fi network through safari every time I came on campus. Extremely annoying.Stumbled upon the devicescape app and was super excited but resigned myself to the fact it probably wouldn't work. And....it didn't.However, I did not lose faith and posted my problem on the devicescape forums, and within the next 20 minutes I had a response along with directions on how to fix it. Ever since then, this app has never let me down and logs me in perfect everytime.Great app, and the best customer service I have probably ever gotten from any company (and their product only costs 1.99!)Thank you devicescape for still believing in the value of customer service. I use the Windows, Mac, Nokia and iPhone versions of Devicescape and they all work as advertised. If you are having any doubts about spending $2 on this, please go and try it first on your PC or Mac so you understand how the product works.
If your particular network is not listed, they provide directions for capturing the login page and submitting it. They are very interested in adding more networks and it typically only takes a day or so. The support team is very responsive and helpful.
I have used it on AT&T at Starbucks, tmobile, wayport, FON and many free hotspots.
I highly recommend this application.

I read some of the reviews about it not working and that happened to me but when I checked my user name I had input it wrong.From the moment I changed it there were no problems.I even shut it all the way down and restarted and as soon as it came back up it was connected.It works as they say and if you are hesitating because of some of these reviews don't worry it works! I have no association with the company.I was tired of signing in each time on my starbuck's account.The $2 was worth it just for that!

Am outside a Starbucks right now typing this on my iPod Touch 1st gen. Set up was easy. I am a Bellsouth DSL customer. Within the app you search for AT&T- Not the iPhone version. You put in your DSL ID and password and save That's it. At a Starbucks, go to the Settings app on the ipt home screen and make sure you're on the attwifi network (not the default T-mobile). Then you lanch Easy Wi-fi, which will automatically log you in (if you did it right). Then you're off to the races. Login is a no brainer and took only a few seconds. Definitely worth the $2. Iphone users use the other AT&T (iPhone) option to enter your phone number instead of your DSL login. And you need only do this step once!Those giving this app 1star must be doing something wrong. The company also has excellent online support.

I have successfully used this app to connect to WiFi on Softbank Mobilepoint networks in Japan, FON networks worldwide, iPass networks, tmobile networks and AT&T networks. It works completely as advertised -- connect to Wi-Fi hotspots without the need to type username/password into a broswer.
I cannot understand why Apple doesn't license this technology and just bundle it in as part of the iPhone/iTouch OS.
One bonus of this app is that it also logs you into free/open networks without needing to open a brower to "click and accept" those annoying agreements. Does ANYONE read those agreements anyway?

as i have to wait till tomorrow morning to see if their update of my wifi request worked. I could not have been more impressed with their response time to my request online. I filled out the required form around six this evening, and had received an email back from them saying my network had been added by quarter of 7. four stars for service i doubt many other devs could match. will become either 5 or 3 depending on whether or not i have to log into my school's wifi network in the morning. def give this app a chance. if your network isn't working or currently offered, i know they will work to get it up and running for you.

This is a cool little app that makes getting on the 'Net at the public WiFi hotspots a breeze. Even if you dont have paid (or bundled from your ISP) hotspot account membership, there are tons of free networks to use and then there is a FON wifi community where you share your home access with million of other members which gives you access to FON WiFi Hotspots anywhere in the world. With this app, you no longer need to remember and type in usernames and passwords every time you need access. Just start the App, click Login and browse away (or check email, watch youtube etc). Good job! A+

Installed this app at home.
My DSL provider at home is ATT (@sbcglobal.net) this allows me unlimited access to wifi at Starbucks using my DSL account.
For the "Easy-Wifi" application setup I just input my ATT DSL user name, also include @sbcglobal.net, and the ATT DSL password in the appropriate boxes and then hit save.
At Starbucks I simply enabled wifi on my ipod touch, hit the "Easy-Wifi" icon and I was connected.
No more entering user ID and password.
App is definitely worth $1.99

Several of the reviewers on here don't seem to get the program, which DOES work great to log you in automatically practically anywhere: AT&T, Boingo, T-Mobile, iPass etc. etc. Both free and paid hotspots. Saves SOOO much time at Starbucks!
The reason it keeps your login info on a central server is that it uses the same info for ALL your devices (there are Mac, PC and Windows Mobile clients too, all FREE!!).
And it does have a great support forum, as well as a good user manual that you should read if you are a first-time user (see the manufacturer description for links). Once set up, it just works.

UPDATE: The new UI in 4.1 is fantastic. Maps showing where the network locations are makes this so much more than a simple login utility. Now I can actually find new places to go and get connected. Even better, I can use my iPhone to point the way to places where I can get my laptop connected since it doesn't have a 3G connection. Can't wait to see what else you have planned for this application.
I've been using this pretty much every day now at Starbucks with my free 2 hours of Wi-Fi from AT&T, and it logs in every time. Just make sure you add the '@attwifi.com' after your username (or whatever domain you choose from the web form drop down) when you set up the account, and enter your password all in lower case (seems that AT&T are actually forcing passwords to lower case in their web server, so even if you used upper case letters in the password, it will actually be stored as all lower case).

I use this when travelling in Germany, where it logs me in effortlessly with either T-Mobile or Swisscom Hospitality. Extreamly easy to set up an account, and can be set to login automatically - making it a ONE button solution - pure bliss. The only down side for me is that it will not work with BT Openzone in the UK if your using an iPhone -although I understand that Touch users are not affected.

FYI, I recently purchased this, initially had problems getting it to work with AT&T WiFi at Starbucks, and then learned that this was because my username needed to include "@attwifi.com". Once I appended this, it worked fine. Devicescape *does* have a forum, by the way; I posted my problem there and received a prompt and helpful response within a day or two. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase; not having to manually log in via Safari saves a lot of time.

Worked great for me today at a TMobile HotSpot. Instead of logging on through Safari, pinching the screen to size the login area, entering and rentering login info... I simply launched the app and hit the login button and was checking my email in seconds. Easy! I haven't tried it at Starbucks or using my AT&T or Boingo login yet, but I can't imagine it to be any different. Definitely worth the $1.99.

From the old jailbreak version to this official App Store version, Devicescape has been working great. It saves me a lot of time by saving my username and password. Just a simple laund if the software, I'm connected within a few seconds. The only downside is the initial setup, it took me a while to find out that I have to sign up/login in order to use the service. I think the user interface van be improved by forcing the user to sign up/login in the first launch of the application. Giving a step by step setup. Also, the search interface is a bit buggy. For example, when I search for PCCW, it returns 4 pages of results. However, the page selector is cropped and makes it so hard to select the next page. And when I searched for PCCW Mobile, it didn't return the result (but there was one item called PCCW Wifi - PCCW Mobile). But overall, once you have successfully set it up, it works as it claims - login to you paid hotspot in no time. Thank you!

Works great, once you get it setup correctly. I was a little unhappy the 1st attempt, but got my account setup correctly the 2nd day and now all is good. I would have given 5 stars if the setup was a little easier. They either nead to provide clearer instructions or provide a walk thru on the setup. You have to be on the Internet with it, before you can actually set it up. Which is wierd on the iTouch. Worked perfectly with my att.net (from Uverse) account on the attwifi. :)
Overall worth the money from my iTouch perspective.

I love the idea, but the application doesn't work with my AT&T WiFi account.
The account setup process is also not very self explanatory. I finally figured it out by trying tapping every button.
Also, there is no support forum, FAQ or detail about the application on the company website.
I had assumed this would be a slam dunk since the app has been around for a long time in the jailbreak days, but it needs a lot of work still.
