Brilliant - better than Tube Deluxe!! By: scott_salter - 16-Oct-2009 Version: 3.1 A brilliant app, was really useful on a visit to London! - The station finder is really useful if you don't know where the nearest station is! (lol). It configures the same route as the TfL website which is better than Tube Deluxe and on the Apple website it says it is licensed by TfL.A must buy! Thanks!===========PLEASE can you make a bus map/timetable schedule for bus travel in Bristol please - I'd be happy to pay £5 for it!
Saved my bacon, seriously By: deuce61 - Nov 30, 2009 Version: 3.1 This app saved my trip. I was going to be in London for 24 hours on a photo safari and found out that the one underground line that was to service 90% of my trip was down for repairs. I was able to reroute my trip with the map and route tool with out having wifi or ATT's expensive international data plan. Only 10-20% of the app even uses internet so this is seriously sweet when your 5,000 miles from home without your data plan and google.
Fantastic app By: TimGaunt - 04-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 Now that the cost has been reduced to a more stomachable £0.59 I think it's a fantastic application. I've not come across any issues with the way it operates at all and I'm please to see that the developers are still improving it further. I travel on the tube regularly to get to business and although I don't mind plotting my route on the maps, it's always been difficult to work out how much time to allow when booking my train tickets/between meetings in the office. Fantastic work guys, keep it up -and ignore the other developers flames ;)

Excellent App By: mduffy-SC - Aug 1, 2009 Version: 1.2 This is the kind of app that makes having an iPhone a truely awesome experience! I visited London recently for the first time and this application made getting around incredibly easy. I live Ina small town. I've not used subways many times. From the first time I entered my departure station and destination, I was completely confident in getting around. This app made getting around London a piece of cake!
Thanks a million to the developers for helping to make my vacation MUCH less stressful!
Don't go to London without it! By: NeverTooCrowded - Jul 19, 2009 Version: 1.2 This app is GREAT! I'm traveling with my wife and two young daughters and using the Underground can be a bit overwhelming the first couple of times. Not with this app. Simply enter where you are and where you want to go and it makes the Underground effortless. The best thing is that you do not need Edge, 3G, or Wifi, only if you want to see current train status. DO NOT GO TO LONDON WITHOUT IT! Keep in mind that if they are doing work on certain lines on the tube you might run into inaccurate info but that's to be expected when traveling in any city. Headed to Paris and I downloaded the Metro version as well. Review coming soon.
Makes me feel more confident! By: Jak Cooper - 12-May-2009 Version: 1.2 I go to London quite alot & go to lots of gigs in random places. I use this app on every trip & I feel more confident & much safer as a result. I know exactly where I am going, which line to take & as a result am not stood staring at a tube map in the station like a tourist looking confused! As a woman this is very important to me. The timings are also pretty arrurate in my opinion. It enables me to text friends to say how long I will be getting to the station. The app costs 59p which is an absolute bargain for the peace of mind I get. Well done to the developers.
Thank you Presselite! By: Kincuri - 11-Oct-2009 Version: 3.0 I have recently returned from an overseas trip to Tokyo, London and Paris. The transport apps by Presselite significantly contributed to the enjoyment of my trip! By making pubic transport a breeze through taking the stress out of working out which train/bus to catch to where ever I wanted to go.
All I needed to do was put in where I was an where I wanted to go and the app would tell me how to get there. I didn't even get lost once!
Thank you so much!
Great app for locals or tourists By: Hebross - 20-Jun-2009 Version: 1.2 A must for anyone who uses the Tube. It will help a visitor to London to navigate the complex Tube network, in particular working out which stations are the best to change at.
If you are a local you can easily check details of the different lines / interchanges without needing a Wifi connection - so it works while you are underground.
Tip: switch OFF the fewest number of trains setting to get a more complex but quicker trip.
Excellent By: Illuminant - 05-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 I purchased this app for a visit to London last week. It operated reliably and assisted me in navigating the relatively complex Tube network. I was pleased that the app knew about the new Woolwoch DLR station, even though the station only opened two weeks ago.
In a future version I'd like to be able to tell the route planner to use or ignore particular lines. Not all lines run all the time - last week, due to heavy snowfalls, only 20% of the Tube lines were operational - so the route planner was of limited use to me.
In summary, it's a good app with up-to-date station information, a good "single thumb" operation, and good potential for further refinement.

Mind the Gap! By: shoyuweenie - 04-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 Well there is no obvious gaps in this app so well done to the developer. I travel extensively for work and have used this in London just last week in real time which was a great test and it didn't let me down. It is easy to read, has offline access, individual line details (which beats trying to read it on the crowded tube!), location awareness and now in the new update service advisories. My only comment/suggestions I could make is to make the route planner a little bit more obvious when displayed on the map. Maybe it could be interactive (move along the stations) such as one used to do on the PalmOS. Also it does need to rotate to landscape for easier reading of the larger map. Other than than, highly recommended app for travel at a great price!
Just the Ticket By: DarkenW - 22-Mar-2009 Version: 1.2 I'm not sure what's up with some people, but this is a great little app for 59p.
I simply want a clear map that I can move around and resize. Route planning is a nice to have, but I can read a map. However, I've given it a spin and works perfectly well and very quickly.
Some of the standalone line station details aren't yet complete, but I'm sure they'll be updated soon.
So in summary, if you simply want a clear and concise map, this is great value at 59p. But if you want something that's going to hold your hand, plan your day, tell you what to wear and calculate your daily calorie intake, then moan that it costs the same as a bar of chocolate, then maybe it's not for you.
Essential By: Mr Dimeji - 25-Feb-2009 Version: 1.2 This app is on point, never crashes and is simple to use. 59p is a bloody bargin. And it does what it says it does. As for the route planner, it suggests a route. If it picks a dud one, then use the map to plan your own!
Over ground, dlr and national rail links, as well as buses would make this perfect.. But that's what the tfl site is there for. Unless/till tfl do an app THIS IS THE BEST travel app. ...in my opinion
It does what it says on the tin! By: Dr Ben Chapman - 14-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 I'm not sure I understand the quantity and ferocity of negative criticism regarding this application. It's 60p and is basically a handy pocket map. It doesn't make the tea but heh. I notice that it's the number 3 top paid application so it can't be that bad. I think its very good value for money and easy to use. For those who wish to philosophise over the age old London Underground map then there might be better applications.
Handy to an extent By: si_dude - 09-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 Well this app seemed promising to guy like me your typical 18 year old guy who depends on friends and family to guide him around the London tubes.
The idea of locating where I am planning a route sounded good so I tested this out this past weekend. From marlobone to camden town the route it gave me was 35 mins long. However this was not the shortest route I believe this route required the fewest changes however my friends route was 20 mins at most.
A simple fix would be offer more routes to match needs I.e cheapest (few changes) or shortest time wise and allow user to pick.
My last concern is do not try to use this app when in the underground, it can't locate u if ur lost lol. (no signal).
Overall good app does what it says needs some fixes but worth the price. Worth the buy
Useful bargain By: Greggors84 - 23-Nov-2009 Version: 3.1 Worth 59p just for the tube map. Before I used a link to a picture on the TFL website and it was a pain looking at it at a decent resolution. Now I can easily flick through instantly without any network (useful on the tube!).The route planner is a bonus really, ok it doesn't have detailed maps of all the lines but they are all there on the main map. Would have been 5 stars but a couple of flaws that will hopefully be fixed.Maybe not worth the original 4.99, but a bargain at 59p for infrequent tube users who haven't got the time to learn all the lines.

Updates to this app mean that early reviews often no longer apply [4th Feb] By: Andy_Ch - 04-Feb-2009 Version: 1.1 Although there is room for improvement, this is a good app for 59p (and updates seem to be regular). The latest updates seem to have fixed many (all?) of the route planning problems, and the main map scrolls nicely. You can now plan your route by touching the stations on the map (there's a button to switch modes). Live status updates are now available. Now they need to improve the line-specific maps, and they could add more details to route descriptions (eg eastbound, towards XYZ).

Quality app, almost... By: stampyhead - Mar 20, 2009 Version: 1.2 I like this app a great deal and it has a lot going for it. Everything is laid out well and the map is easy to navigate. My one huge gripe, though, is that the station locate function does not work for me. Most of the time it tells me there are no Tube stations near me (even when I'm sitting right on the platform!) and the few times it does work it definitely does not show the closest station. Once this is fixed it will be a very good app.
