Bloody Brilliant By: Graham1990 - 17-Sep-2009 Version: 3.0 Got me round Paris no problem - dispite how daunting the metro may be at first!
This app slowly became a show off for me - whilst my friends were scouting through metro maps working out a route - I simply loaded the app and typed in where I wanted to go and found the best route!
Simple and easy to use - only downfall is the lag in the time it takes for the application to load! I didn't find any application errors - will be a shame I won't be using this app again for the foreseeable future!!!
Fantastic By: The eyes of science - 11-Apr-2009 Version: 1.7 This app took pride of place on my homepage of my iPod when I went on holiday to Paris. It was so useful to find all of my routes and stations. What made it better was that the route and map function didn't require an Internet connection, because there were very few wifi spots that were free. So, I definitely recommend this brilliant little app to anyone who wants to find their way around the city of Paris. Nice one Presselite!
Amazing app By: Iphonelloyd - 17-Feb-2009 Version: 1.7 This application is a must for anyone going to Paris. I've just returned from a weekend there and I simply couldn't have managed without it. With so much to see and do, your always on the go, catching different trains to different locations. All you do is type where you are and where you want to go and within seconds it shows you which train to catch, where to change lines and how long it takes to get there. I used the app Everytime I neared a Metro station and it worked a charm Everytime. I couldn't condone this application anymore, it is amazing and well worth the small asking price. Thanks to the developers for making such a simple, easy to use, no nonsense app. Make sure you get it before you go to Paris as it's a definate must have!
Excellent !!! By: Ozwatch - 15-Oct-2009 Version: 3.0.1 This is an extremely good and useful app. I returned from Paris just last week and used the app to great effect whilst there. It simplifies the process of Metro travel planning and provides a quick and accurate route between any two (or more) stations as well as providing a map of the whole Metro network - all without the need for internet access. An invaluable travel tool - very highly recommended.
Awesome! Very helpful By: Kait2122 - Aug 30, 2009 Version: 3.0 This app was so helpful for me when I was in Paris! I spent the summer in Paris taking French and it literally got me EVERYWHERE with the slightest of ease! I think this new update will be even better but I didn't get a chance to try it! At one point the RER C line was broken, but it routed me that way and I ended up having to find my way around it because it wouldn't give me any other route! I saw so many people looking at the metro maps with all the people rushing by but all I had to do was put it into my phone and off I went!
Great, Works like a charm By: D & D Twins - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 1.7 I just finished a three week trip to Paris. I was located about 30 miles outside of Paris and had to use the RER trains to get into Paris. This app. worked every time. Once when I was at the wrong train station and had to get to the right one I was able to make it in 15 minutes. The locals gave me directions, but this program was easier to program and I was able to follow it, vs the local directions, and ended saving 3 minutes. Loved it. Would HIGHLY recommend it if you are going to Paris.
Very helpful By: Monetfan246 - Jul 22, 2009 Version: 1.7 Just returned from 10 days in Paris and used this app multiple times every day. Very helpful and it made navigating the metro very easy. It would have been nice if the end stations were listed on the suggested route, as these are what are listed at the stations to identify which direction on the line you need to be on. You can easily figure this out by asking the program to display the route on the map, but it would save a few steps to just list it on the first page. Also, there were a few quirks- the program would sometimes list a different return route from the route initially suggested for arrival. Never could figure out why.
I highly recommend this program despite the above comments. It made travel very easy. We felt very confident travelling and were never lost.
As an aside, the Paris metro was an excellent system. We never waited more than 5 min for a train, most trains were not crowded, and we used it to get everywhere including the airport.
An absolute "YES!" if going to Paris By: T-Bonez - Jul 1, 2009 Version: 1.7 I just returned from a trip to Paris and this program is GREAT! This self computing program (no wifi needed) is an absolute must if going to Paris. It gives great maps of the Metro, RER and Bus lines. No more needing to read the maps at stations! Furthermore, it's GREATEST feature is an automatic routing program. Enter the station you are starting from, the station where you want to go, and it automatically and quickly generates (without WIFI or internet access!) a route including lines, transfers and time to destination. The route can then also convert to a graphical map showing each station along the way. FIVE STARS!
Get this By: TBobo - May 14, 2009 Version: 1.7 Don't go to Paris without this application. Overall it is outstanding. The only thing that would be nice if the application showed you the ending destination of each line on the route screen, since that is all you can find quickly in some stations. It also does not calculate some of the out of town RER lines correctly because it acts like you can get directly out of town when you really need to switch.
You can't go wrong with this! By: PipeDreamer - Mar 28, 2009 Version: 1.7 This application is marvelously constructed. The maps can be stretched or zoomed out for the level of detail desired and if you don't want to spend time looking at the maps in the subway, you can put in your location and your destination and it calculates a route. Route settings include least transfers, least stops, and best overall route. You can follow with simple instructions (pictured above) or follow your progress on the map stop by stop. This truly is a wonderful guide. The only thing that would make this application better would be the option to pick your own route and then follow along on screen with said chosen route.

Thank you! By: Kincuri - 11-Oct-2009 Version: 3.0 I have recently returned from an overseas trip to Tokyo, London and Paris. The transport apps by Presselite significantly contributed to the enjoyment of my trip! By making pubic transport a breeze through taking the stress out of working out which train/bus to catch to where ever I wanted to go.
All I needed to do was put in where I was an where I wanted to go and the app would tell me how to get there. I didn't even get lost once!
Thank you so much!
Great little program By: Grant Millard - 3-Sep-2009 Version: 3.0 This proved very useful on our recent visit to Paris.
Only thing I would look for as an improvement is that it not only tell you the line to take to get to your destination but also the direction to take on the line. This can be confusing to figure out on one's own As it requires you to trace the line map to determine the end station in the appropriate direction.
Other than this one wish it is a most excellent tool to have with you in Paris.
Bon voyage mon Amis!
1st Time Paris By: spacepark - Dec 1, 2009 Version: 3.0.1 This is a useful app for travelers if you plan to use Metro for museums, sight seeing, different parts of town, etc. It helps reinforce what you probably know and you'll feel a bit more confident re: your transit decisions. I just returned from a 4 day trip and it never steered me wrong. Also if you just stumble upon a Metro station while out and about, you can use this app to help figure out how to get back to your hotel, etc.

Super App By: danielwebb4 - 07-Jun-2009 Version: 1.7 A must for anyone travelling around Paris by public transport. I live in Paris, and this app is incredibly useful on a daily basis, especially the Locate and Route features, and is generally very accurate with times and distances. I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars except for the fact that the routes and times provided for using certain combinations of Métro and RER stations together aren't so reliable - so be aware of this when finding a route which involves both. I think it could also be improved with regular service updates for when certain stations are closed, or for searching for a route using a 'via' or 'not via' in addition to the start and destination. But otherwise a great app, very stable, generally quick to use, and perfect for travellers as all of the maps are stored within the app, so no roaming charges (except for the locate feature's link to Google Maps). Highly reccomended.
Recommended for your trip to Paris By: oncebitten - 17-Mar-2009 Version: 1.7 A very good application for a low price. I'm reporting only on the Métro and RER features - the Route facility does not work for buses as it allows you to enter only Métro or RER stations, and the Lines facility does not give bus routes. You still have to buy Paris Maps as well (or even rely on a printed map) to find your way from a particular street location and to your final destination, but the ability of Metro Paris to find the nearest Métro station to your current location without roaming turned on is invaluable. Once you have found the station, you can then plan your route to your next destination, assuming of course you know which station you want. As guide books normally give the station for the main sites, that is normally not a problem. I found that I relied on it completely to go from place to place. The maps scroll smoothly and effortlessly, with no visible lag. The Route facility is the only one I found not to work perfectly for the Métro as it occasionally came up with a roundabout route: try Gare du Nord to Chaussée d'Antin La Fayette, where it takes you north on line 5 via Stalingrad to join line 7. Two stations down this line is Gare de L'est, which you can reach in one stop by taking line 4 or line 5 south instead.
Excellent app!!!! but! By: Mark, Swansea - 07-Feb-2009 Version: 1.5 This application is excellent, I am off to Disneyland Paris in a week and my son has been nagging to go to the Eiffel tower, but as we've never been abroad before I was reluctent to go. However with this app, I have no hesitation on going to the Eiffel tower now as this gives me an excellent detailed instruction on which train to take and which metro system to take.
The only thing I can find a fault with, is when you do a route map from Nation station to Marne-la-vallèè chessey station the application just hangs on calculating your route? But it's not that bad as you can just view it on the map instead. But with the route it would give worriers like me an exact detail of which train to get on.
Price wise, this app was well worth the money
Invaluable for gettng around Paris by subway By: Loved Paris - Sep 29, 2009 Version: 3.0 I downloaded several apps for our Paris trip, and used this one the most. We took the Metro everywhere, which would have been much more cumbersome without the app. Bookmarking routes was extermely helpful, as was being able to view each line in its entirety. Also, it can be used entirely offline. (Since I used it offline -- to save on data roaming charges -- I can't comment on any of the online features.) The reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: (1) Metro directions are designated by a line's end-points. The routes on Metro Paris Subway direct you to take line such-and-such to a certain stop, but don't tell you which direction that is or which end-point it heads toward, so you have to look at either the map or the individual line to see what the appropriate end-point is. It would have been helpful if that info was included in the route directions themselves. (2) Where there was more station at which one could change trains, the routes were not always consistent and did not seem to take into account which station would be better. For example, the route from Tuileries to Maubert - Mutalite had us changing trains at Chatalet, a large station with a long walk, while the reverse route -- Maubert - Mutalite to Tuileries -- had us changing at Palais Royal - Musee Du Louvre, a much shorter walk.

Only one thing I would add By: Dmondre - Jun 14, 2009 Version: 1.7 Recently visited Paris and this app was great. The only thing i would say it is missing is the route direction. The routing feature is great but it is missing the line direction (end station) so you still need to peruse the map in the station to determine which direction(platform) you need to be on. Hopefully this can be considered in any future upgrades. WIth this addition this will be the only thing you will ever need to navigate the Paris Metro system.
