This is a terrific application which puts the best of Qype's independent reviews in the palm of your hand whilst helping you to then find the chosen venue. Not only can you just search for shops, bars, restaurant, nightlife etc etc without the need to specify a location (given the iPhone's GPS ability) but the results are then listed and allow you to choose whether to go for the nearest (ie) cinema or one further way but with better reviews. Once you've chosen the venue, the iPhone then directs you there - like a personal SatNav. And it's all completely free! Genius...

I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied by the best. And the Qype Radar application really is the best and most useful tool I have on my iPhone. It completes me.
Qype is undoubtedly the most reliable source of information on, well, anywhere and having the information to readily available in the palm of my hand on lovely and easy-to-use interface means that never again will I be caught out somewhere unfamiliar, beyond reach of a computer, and having to rely on my own feeble instincts. Nor will I have to fumble my way through a web browser to get what I want. Indeed why should I? For in my pocket is the ultimate guide to where I should go and where I shouldn't go. You won the last round, Abdul's Takeaway on Wilmslow Road, but from now on... needless to say... I will have the last laugh.
Indispensible.

Qype's radar is really useful and easy to use, selecting from the vast inventory of reviews that they have the best places to go to wherever you are in most European cities (even small ones). This is perfect for bars, restaurants, clubs but also for shopping or local useful services. Very relevant content to have access to from your mobile phone, complements very nicely Aroundme from google. Great if you travel from the UK to France, Germany and Spain.

Like many great apps this is simple but incredibly effective. Within 2 or 3 taps I get great suggestions and reviews on places nearby based on the iPhone gps. This is a must have for anyone except hermits.

I don't know how I lived without Qype Radar but life must have been miserable. This is such a good app and I can't believe it's free. The location thingy is so accurate that everytime I've used it it's come up with fab places within a few minutes walk of where I was. Any place you need, you can find it in a matter of seconds, with handy clear maps etc Just fantastic - everyone should get it asap.

I've been using Qype for a while and the app is really handy - location-aware categorized reviews - this is going to encourage me to write more of them. Plus it's free, what more do you want? :-)

As a Qype Ninja I am really pleased to have this app on my iPhone. Not only does it give me access to all the open, honest reviews but it also allows me to find anything of interest wherever I am. You really should dhownload this!

Well, hasn't this been a nice update? The ugly ducking app has bloomed into a beautiful swan, and kept the ease of use that made me like it in the first place. Top work with the maps and finding where I am in a hurry too!

Qype Radar has to be one of the most useful iPhone apps. It's so quick, and so relevant to where I currently am. If I'm in a concert and want to find where to go for a drink afterwards I just fire up Qype Radar and it shows all the nearby places with ratings and reviews.
