Essential for travelling by Train in Switzerland! We used it for a month and it worked great. Suggestions - it would be nice it the schedules could be accessed without needing wifi or data roaming. Also, it would be great to be able to narrow search parameters to only include trains that take bikes (that would've been helpful for us anyways). One more thing! A map of the specific train to show where the 1st class/2nd class carriages are as well as where the bike carriage is (sometimes it's a separate carriage, sometimes not) so you know where to stand on the platform.

Don't be put off by the non-English description because this app has full English support. It's also amazingly good! The interface is simple and easier to use than the website itself. Ideal for anyone travelling in this beautfiul country. Some thoughtful extras show the (extremely) rare occasions when trains are delayed from live news feeds. Brilliant, why doesn't the UK have an app of this quality?!

Best way to find train schedules in Europe. All the euro rail websites are useless, but this app nails it. Good interface. Great having intineraries saved to the ipod for reference while jogging to the connection.

This is a brilliant app. Easy to use and extremely useful. I would expect nothing less from the worlds best travel system! However SBB should do a map app to go with it.

This is a good app, much better than the first version (which never auto updated, really bad idea). However, why not take this all the way and allow me to purchase a ticket directly from the app, and support viewing the ticket like MMS and PDF does. Let's go, make it happen!

This app looks like it will come in handy during business trips to Switzerland. One comment I wanted to make is that the departure/arrival toggle switch is color coded opposite that of the iPhone settings where typically blue indicates the active selection.

Excellent except.....
* Finding stations when buying tickets seems not to be as easy as when looking on the timetable, the suggestions are different (zürich hb gives a result on the timetable but not on the ticket purchase screen).
* The ticket favourites are not easily distinguished from one another, doesnt say the zones or stations valid on it so no way to know which favourite is for which ticket (esp if there are a few for ZVV like zone 10 or zone 10 & 21). Some way to tag favourites as the user chooses would be great, so the favourites can be identified easily (e.g. to bern, to zh city, to winterthur etc).
Otherwise very very good and welcome!
