If you read the app description, it does what it says it will do. It has a lot of handy tools that will help you when you're traveling, but stops short because it's not a booking app. If you're trying to book something, then you will have to navigate their regular site on your iPhone, which is really hard to do. If you think of this app as just having some cool gadgets that help you after you book a trip, then you'll probably find some use in it. The flight tracker stuff is cool, and the security wait times part has definitely helped me out a few times. There are other apps that do this, but they aren't free, so there's your tradeoff. The destinations function is neat, and it shows you the local events, but it's really hard to figure out how to change destinations once you're done looking at it. That needs some work.

Just downloaded this app and it works fine. Synched with my acccount no problem. Also found all hotels near me as advertized. Reccomend more options in the preferences tab like the ability to only find 4 and 5 star hotels near me. After manually entering a location on hotel search, the app takes a long time to come back with results, which is understandable, but, there needs to be a spinning wheel icon to show that the app is still working, and not locked up.

Looks like the new version made lot of improvements.. I like hotels near me feature with ratings and price. Allows me to search by location and city. Mytrips now works better and shows all trips. Surprised to findout app has the realtime flight tracking. Should have been a great mobile app if they support all the airlines gate information. Only supports same airlines as the main travelocity website.

v1.3 is a huge improvement. being able to link to their facebook and twitter pages for deals within the app is cool. being able to see hotels on a map and not being booted out of the app is great too. the interactive hotel map is actually better than the one on their site. they've added more native hotel content, which is nice too. the flight tracking is very cool, and while there are some other apps that offer that for a fee, i like that it's included in here for free.i dont get the install problem that the previous review mentioned, so not sure what may be happening there.

Contrary to what another reviewer said, this app does not require you use Travelocity to book your travel. It does for full functionality, but you still can check security wait times, flight information, flight paths, etc. Very useful for a frequent flyer like myself who is always guessing at security wait times. Highly recommended app. I just wish Orbitz will come out with one because I use them to book my travel and would appreciate the "My Trips" section of this app.

I have iPhone 3Gs and it works like a charm! No problems to report of any kind. It's fast & easy to use. I guess whatever problems the app was having have been resolved cause I downloaded 07/04/09 and it is doing fine!

With iPhone 2 software this looks fully fumctional to me. Anyone who flies much can use this. If you book with Travelocity it is even better.

Fantastic travel app to get status information on flights and airports. Installation was a breeze, and integration into their main website for travel deals and bookings was very intuitive.As a loyal mac & iPhone user, I stay away from micro$oft's expedia, and encourage others to do the same.Go gnome!

Wow! This is probably THE best and most useful application ever. You can track flights, see current security wait times, get weather and maps, make your own trips and all for FREE! Certainly a must-have for anyone who EVER travels, it just comes in so much handy. There is no need to travel with travelocity for this program to make sense, as another reviewer said. It really makes no difference.
