I do not live in London personally but do have to travel across it from time to time and also visit friends there for drinks in out of the way bars and pubs! I saw this app and thought it was worth trying out. The user interface is sound and works well. An in-built route calculator and service reporter give this app a useful advantage over it's competetors. However, there is a feeling that the creator has added too many bells and whistles to a map of the London underground and there is slightly too much info on the screen. In all I believe that they have done really well in making this app for free but I would suggest that you use the paper based ones in the stations or the online services.

This is a great little app - it's free, it does everything it needs to and more (eg how good a service is operating on each line). I've not had the problems other reviewers have re. the route planner, but if it works that badly for you why not work it out yourself on the map? A great app, perfect for londoners and tourists alike. And remember - it's free.

Just come back from a short trip to the smoke and I found this app really useful. I stopped to ask an underground employee route advice and he whipped out his iphone with this app on it, which is why I got it! One minor point would be to add a colour code on the map as underground newbies don't know this. Cheers guys.

Great, functional app for tube users. Probably more useful for infrequent tubers like me, who don't know the underground like the back of their hand

Really great when out and about around London; don't need countless real tubemaps or having to search the platform for 1! I really like how there are routes and line updates as well. Only gripe is that the journey tomes aren't very accurate but it doesn't really matter to me as it's fairly obvious how long a journey would take anyway.

I Haven't tried anything but the map and it's awesome that's all you need if you know how the tube works i'm sure you dont need a route planner just the map and the disruptions ! Perfect
