To clarify: all this app does is send pictures to other iPhones or iPods running this app (video update coming soon i beleive). IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO SEND TO OTHER PHONES. The iPhone does not support OBEX file transfers for whatever reason (blame Apple). The developer of this app has used the Bluetooth Api to implement a custom file transfer system. THERE WILL NEVER BE AN UPDATE TO CHANGE THIS. Anyone who has given this app a low rating beacause they assumed it would use standard OBEX has probally never heard of OBEX, doesn't understand it and should be banned from reviewing app store apps ever again. Can't see why people are complaining, the limitations of Bluetooth on iPhones and touches are of Apples doing not this apps! Apple does not allow bluetooth connectivity to other mobile device except computers for the purposes of Internet tethering. As for sending music this WOULD be rejected by Apple for copyright reasons and interfering with the iTunes model. On to how this app performs, little clunky, again a limitation of the bluetooth api but other than that it works fine for iPhones and iPod touches running OS3! Would like to see a cancel button during sending though!

Compatibilty with other devices: I think it's something to do with copyrights thr you are forbidden to sent data from iPhone to other mobiles as you could easily download a song via iTunes and send it to all your friends instantly which is illegal so they banned it. Please don't request from this developer as they simply cannot do it as each App has to be reviews and checked by Apple so it's not gonna happen

Works just as described and have experienced none of the mentioned problems yet. •To those people who say that it doesnt work, they must realize that it only works between two iPhone 3G/3GS's and/or iPod touches 2g/3g that HAVE THE APP INSTALLED ON BOTH. It DOES NOT work with any other Bluetooth devices due to Apple's SDK restrictions. •If you really want that feature, just jb and install iBluetooth from Cydi. 

This is a very good app. And here's the reasons as to why, both negative and positive: Negatives: Can't Bluetooth to a non apple device (although everyone should own an iPod touch/iPhone)/ Mac/ PC. Not the developers fault. This seems to be down to Apple. If you look at all the other photosharing apps. They have the same issue. Speed is slow on the transfer. Please fix this in an update. Also, you can't do multiple transfers. Again. Available in the update.!!?? Doesn't run in the background. Update. If it's a big file. You don't want to be waiting for however long until it transfers. Positives: It's free. Other developers are charging. Be grateful and give positive feedback in order to improve. It's a necessary app that all iPhone users should have. We've been waiting for it and now someone has given it to us. And will try to put video transfer in the update. It's worth every iPhone user having and recommending. TS

Is slow but free... works, what can u ask more
To u all iPhone noobs, STFU!!! Learn what the device can do and what devs are allowed to do. Before giving a 1 star be thankful of having something for free so that your friends can have the same app. OMG... 1 star raters are just kids who don't even have a clue about technology. You have an iPhone, learn how to use properly and get to know your device!!!! If u don't like this app just delete it from your device until you find something better...which acutally doesn't exist and won't probably ever exist!!! Give your iPhone to people who will know how to use it properly and get some stupid nokia or ericsson device. Without you in the iPhone community we consumers and developers will have a much better experience in the appstore!!

Bottom line (moved to the top) : Works as described. To froggydiver, JEREMY NIELSON, and everyone else who wants this to work for first generation iDevices: First gens are not Bluetooth enabled. This app works via Bluetooth. You put two and two together. It's not a software issue and the developer can do nothing about it. That's why you need to upgrade to a second or later generation iDevice, stupid. To froggydiver specifically: It's ‘developer’ , not ‘app builder’ . And remove your bad rating because it's your fault you won't upgrade, not the developer's. To morf3x, crob005, chan4679, and everyone else that wants this to support other devices: The developer can't make it work to other phones because Apple doesn't support {iDevice -- other device} Bluetooth connections. Complain to Apple. To Cbom: Apple currently doesn't support {iDevice -- computer} connections. This is also Apple's choice, the developer can't do anything here, either. Again, complain to Apple. Also, that's ‘app’ , not ‘icon’ . The app is the piece of software. The icon is what you tap to launch the app. Unintentional rhyme, BTW. To the developer: The next step is to explain what I just did (the above paragraphs) in the description. Then, add support for other types of files and rename it ‘Bluetooth File Share’ , short name ‘FileShare’ . Meow. 

Have been looking for a simple, free app that lets my wife & I share photos between iPhones via Bluetooth, but most of the other ones reduce the size of the photo. Thankfully, this one doesn't! Kudos! Only thing I'd like to see in an update is maybe the option to change the size of the photo before sending, for those times when you just want to share something quickly. But, that's nitpicking... grab this one now!

NEED THE IPHONE BLUTOOTH TO WORK ON OTHER DEVICES THEN IT BE ACE!!!

Firstly, to those who are using this on an iPod touch I think you need the new update (3.0) as Bluetooth only became usable for me once I updated from 2.0. -------------------------------------------------- Updates: 1 - maybe next time you could provide away to send music, I'm sure all it is, is basically replacing a image directory to the music one.. ---- 2 - expand options, not everyone has updated to the latest firmware, or no-one wants the slow speed when they have access to wi-fi.. Point is maybe add a option for wifi transfers aswell as bluetooth. ---- 3 - there is no 3, but three always has to be here.. Lol ---- Nonetheless awesome app !!

This app works once both users press the connect button. If your trying to do it any other way you'll be waiting for ages. So overall I'd have given this app 5 stars but the one star missing is due to the picture being transferred ended upside down on my wifes device. Her photo sent to me ended up sideways. Pretty funny. I can get over it. The app probably just needs a bug fix update. Good start guys. Bring on the update.

Finally, we get bluetooth compatability!

I'll try and make this short and sweet. The reason i gave it a 4 star rating is because it could send and locate the other iPhone/iPod faster & it would be better if you could connect with other handsets. Other than that it works great. How many of you have wanted bluetooth so you could send snaps to your friends/family? This is the perfect application for that! If you guys keep updating this, than i'm sure it would be listed in the top apps in no time!

It needs both iPhones to have the app installed but other than that it works flawlessly. 10/10 now if only apple would turn on native Bluetooth we would have a phone like every other on the Market. Fills an obvious gap in the iphone

I downloaded this app to iphone and iphone touch. After few tries i figured out the way to use it. App has to be open on both devices an connect button has to be pressed on both too then it works. Just transferred my favourite wallpaper to ipod. Does its job. Instructions should be given at the description thought.
