This is by far one of the best Clock apps for the iPhone/iPod Touch!
I always use my iPod as a clock at work sitting it on top of my computer,
which always gets people looking where did you get that till they see its
my iPod touch then they want one too.
I love the options of backgrounds and colors. much better than the other
clock app I was using that had no animated background and only a few
choices of colors.
The only thing I would change is when the app goes into landscape
mode the clock spaned to fit the whole screen, it looks a bit odd
having a little clock in the center of that widescreen, but other than that
there is nothing I can say bad about this app.

This app is very useful and smooth. Plus, it has awesome colors: WHICHEVER ONE YOU CHOOSE! The only thing bad about this app is that my science teacher tried to use my ipod as a clock with this app and it almost fell on the floor. Not the apps fault. Clock has a very prompt and caring developer helping it along, glad to see the clock change with tilt. I use it in the middle of the night when I'm on vacation. It's also a very nice show-off app. I think some more background animations could be in order though.

Finally a nightstand clock & alarm solution!

As trivial as it may sound, I have tried for over a year to find a clock radio type solution for my iPhone. Some units that you plug your iPhone into get horrible interference from the iPhone. Some have really weak and clumsy controls and settings. And some are just cheap. I found this app and it was the missing link for me. Very well implemented! I use this with the iPhone's built in alarm clock and Griffin Technology's AirCurve iPhone speaker amplifier. Simple, elegant, and very functional.
P.S. Consider adding a dimmer for a 6 star rating!

Amazingly advanced, and well organized. I only wish that this could be used on the lock/unlock screen, as soon as you turn it on. It needs an alarm, and differt color options. It would be outstanding (just an idea) to see a panoramic, or 'swivel' type clock that rotates on an axis, based in the accelerometer. Possible ideas • IF POSSIBLE, the clock could be used as a back drop on your unlock screen. • Alarm • Color options and main options placed outside application, under 'settings'. • The 'swivel'. • More clock styles Great app. To those of you who complain it's not free, you should have gotten it when it was. :D It's still worth it.

This is the best looking clock I have seen thus far. The green matrix style font is awsome with the automated baground effect are very, very cool. Color changes and background effects are very nice. I love the clock selections and really love the one that actually spells out the hour and minutes. I love it! Please add a few more backgrund effect but even if the author does not this app is still the coolest clock in the store.

I had been looking for a replacement to a bedside clock for my iPhone since my phone is generally closer than a clock is. What an amazing program this is. Great interface, BEAUTIFUL display. Very Star Trek-esk which to me is a plus!
Functionality I'd like to see added:
The ability to set the times the app will sleep the screen and those times it will not.
Alarms! In order for it to be a complete clock replacement X Clock needs to have alarm and timer functions.
The ability to change the color of the displays. ( I personally love the blue but would like to see the option. Red or Green would look amazing)

best out there and with these features unbeatable:
SOUNDS TO GO TO SLEEP WITH AND WAKE UP WITH: give us ocean waves, crickets, grandfather clock ticks, buzzers bells and whistles! ( dont forget a snooze option simple touch to the screen oh and a volume control))
A DIMMER: dim the display after a pre-determined time to come back to life again with a touch to the screen.
COLORS Edit They listen to their fans and gave us colors that can only be described as totally stunning!!
FONT CHANGE: let us change how it looks a little please
MENU SCREEN: dont change a thing!! best interface out there and has your name on it and a good link to other iphone goodies from Dava.
Sure hope you do listen to your critics because with these additions you will have the best clock app out there
trust me there are plenty nodding their heads at these ideas.
BTW lose the option to get rid of the starfeild why would i do that its fantastic, thought of anymore? dolphins swimming ( great with present color scheme birds flying across a full moon, fireflys buzzing about a cornfeild and thats just for the night time displays...!!!

This is such a wonderful way of showing time on your iPhone/Touch at night (whilst docked) or during the day (docked or undocked) - The 'Stargate' (Spaceship/SG1) Warp Field effect is very soothing to the eye especially as you can choose the right colour to suit your environment. It's not quite 5 stars (maybe more like 4.5) but I can't for the life of me remember what it was that warranted that, something Trivial.
I would recommend getting this app - it doesn't have an Alarm feature on the app itself, but other than that it is very cool & snazzy

Beautiful little desk clock

I use this in my cradle next to my work PC, it's just my desk clock now while the iPhone is charging. Only problem is that v2.0 appears to have introduced a bug, whereby the iPhone sleep mode is no longer over-ridden automatically when you start the app. If I start up the clock the phone will go to sleep in a minute or so, I have to go into the options and then physically turn sleep mode over-ride off and then back on for it to work. In the old version it worked right from start-up. Apart from that a very snazzy looking desk clock.

Certainly the best clock currently available for iPhone.
BUT
It needs an alarm - preferably with the option to play an MP3/AAC from iTunes or at least some nice samples. This would be idea for those of us with speaker docks that lack clocks.
Plus, not everyone speaks American English. One after Eleven? Five before Ten? Folks, please, this (even as an option) needs to have English English available. (It's five minutes TO or ten minutes PAST).

The clock is functional and priced just right. Here are some suggested enhancements: 1). Alarm in fact different alarms with the ability to chose an assortment of alarm types. 2). Choose different clock faces even scrolling interfaces 3). Allow a second clock display for a different time zone 4). How about a speaking clock maybe a customised voice to wake you up? 5). How about the ability to touch anywhere on the surface to snooze the clock (why do people create a small pop up box to stop or snooze when you are so sleepy you can just about find the iPHONE!). I presume the clock auto-adjusts to a new new time zone? 6). Why a black background?

Now Here's what I'd like to see in an update: Brightness control. The animated background is what sold me on this app.Good background animation;more like that. Scrolling beach and palm trees, metropolis background...alot of room for creativity and imagination here. Be bold in future updates. Fix the chopiness tho And make the space background animate more smoothly. Very good start! October 25- Very nice additions!! The animations r very smooth and color variations add a nice touch. I knew I was into a good thing when I first purchased this app in Sept. The clock moves fluidly now;it jumped before. Try some animated cartoon backgrounds a la batman. Keep it up!!

I have this standing in the dock showing analog time whenever I'm working at my Mac. Its the largest analog clock display available. The only two improvements I'd request are: 1. Once you've chosen a display colour with the slider, be able to LOCK it. Otherwise the slider is too easy to grab and unintentionally change your colour. 2. Be able to select a chime on the hour (on or off). Thanks guys.
