While viewing a photo tweet from Jim Norton from the Opie and Anthony show, a listener commented that Flash for Free will fix the dark photo. I downloaded it and am very pleased. Saves me from having to download from my phone to PC to lighten it through Picasa or other enhancing software. Gives you a choice of 9 shades and saves the altered photo along with the original. And of course, the price was of my favorite variety. Well worth the space on the phone. Great App.

This is another great app from "Free the Apps!". Has to be in my top 10 apps because I'm not much of a game player on the iPhone. This app makes your photos brighter. It has different brightness settings for your photo. It only takes about 21 seconds to apply the effect, but that's fine to me because I like the final product. I wish everyone would make all their Apps free. Once again thank you for another great app. 

This application works verrrry well. Better than I had expected. I took a picture and I could hardly see my girlfriends face but when I used this, her face was completely viewable. This also doesn't dumb down the quality at all. I don't write app reviews but I felt I truly needed to for this one because it deserves 4 1/2 stars at least. And to the people who think it's slow, yeah it's slow but it has to go pixel by pixel. That takes a while and is hard to do. Also try HDR for Free. High definition for free.

I can't possibly give this app enough praise for it's beautiful simplicity, ease of use, and sheer power. Though this app can not, for obvious reasons, light up a photo of the darkest room, it is absolutely an essential item for those outdoor photos taken in the shade, where the iPhone takes the color and light balance from the bright ambient light and makes everything else dark and illegible. I tested this outside, on a photo of a steel plate with a highly reflective surface, surrounded by dark brick. The original photo was nearly impossible to decipher, as the texture of the brick was completely lost with the reflection off the plate, but after two passes through this app, the detail of the wall came through clear as day, WITHOUT increasing the issue of the reflection on the steel. The way this app balances photo levels with such automation necessitates that I issue it a full five stars. This is an example of clever design; one more difficult step taken away from our already very busy lives. Seriously, take some shady outdoor photos or snap a few frames on an overcast day and try the app. You won't be disappointed. Also, for those confused by the panel effect brought up when clicking the flash button: each panel is a different exposure level for the photo, arranged from closest to original (top left) to highest corrected exposure (bottom right). Click flash, then select the level you want (small differences, but they count), and wait for it to churn out your retouched photo. Sheer brilliance.

Ok so I do agree that this app is slow, you may grow old and die before you get to see your pictures with a bit of flash but come on it's FREE why rate it so low (overall). Once it converts the result is great. I have some pictures of my kids hiding in the house and because the iPhone has no built in flash there faces are dark, almost black it's hard to see who's who (there both the same age btw) I was going to delete the pictures; not now this app is fantastic, download it you won't be disapointed with the result just the time it takes to do the job.

I dunno y this has such a bad rating, and y take my opinion, right? But honestly I have been up ALL NIGHT till 4:00am using this App, CropforFree and HDRforFree making my pics look so incredibly awesome!!!! It works beyond belief. It was free so I thought, y not? And it works so beautifully and givess u a multitude of options of how bright u want ur pics to look, and it's perfect. Do download the other two, CropforFree and HDRforFree. They all are exquisite Apps and hopefully the ratings will reflect it too.

Why so low stars? I think it's a 3 to 4 buy trying to help average with my 5stars. It does work and I have a similar app on my pc which does a similar job. Only updates needed.... Rotate for landscape pics, undo and redo button so you can see before and after as much as you like and finally speed this up it's a bit zzzzzz while it processes and I'm on a 32gig 3gs badboy so it isn't slow normally! Well done Devs, great bit of free software! 

This does exactly what it claims to, it lightens pictures digitally. Is it perfect? Nope, but it's more the limitation of the camera, not this app. Yes it takes some processing time for each picture. So does the pay version also in the app store. It's just the nature of the beast, it's limited by processor capability. It's likely faster on the new iPhone 3gs. Not much can be done about that. But this is quite good.

Is true a bit slow but my good for free what else can you ask........ Mis fotos son mas claras y lucen mejor gracias y creo que esta es la forma de vender las aplicaciones dejarlas usar y dar la opcion de comprarlas. Yo Daria un dolar por la app. This should be the way to sell an aplication let the customer try it for a bit and let the custumer decide if wort it to buy ir or not. I hate to buy app that later a hate. THANK YOU GUYS.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of full versions of apps for free :) The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because if I want to use all three of those apps on one picture, I have to save it separate times for each app and then find the saved pic again for the next one... Very frustrating :( it would be sooo amazing if u could somehow take one pic, and have the option of trasferring it back and forth between the apps while u are editing it so u don't have to keep saving it :)

What can you really say? It is free and does as advertised, it is awesome. To all of you people rating it low, screw you, it is free, pay a dollar or two to get something that does the same exact thing, all I can say in that situation is that it is your money... I like this app, give it a try, it is free, I highly recommend this app.

This is a fantastic application!!! It takes a little while to change the pictures..(about 1 minute)...but it's hardly a long time and the end result is worth it!!! I would recommend down loading this to anyone and it's free!!!

I always select the middle option which always does a good job. it's thAt easy (which can't be said for theis iPhone keyboard)!
