I'm so glad to see that someone finally came out with an application that uses a new variation of sound effects other than the ones we have so far. I LOVE this app because now whever my friend uses his stupid fart sound i just look at him, bring my arm out a little and use my sword app. if i had the time to write 99 funny things to do with this app i would, but alas i can't. very nice, well put together appliaction, 5 stars all the way. However i would very much enjoy more options for fight sound effects, perhaps a knock-out bell or something.

I've been having major issues lately with my iPhone ... Seems it has been overtaken with an abundance of fart apps: name that fart, atomic fart, girly farts, animal farts, zombie farts, tic tac fart, memory fart, fart taser gun, etc. ... A real problem!!!
Well i was ready to give up all hope and then I found iFight ... iFight works as advertised and I was able to punch, whip, slash and gong those pesky little apps off my iPhone.
My iPhone is doing much better now and no fart app has returned thanks to iFight. So my sincere thanks to iFight in helping me battle these pesky KRAPPS and restore my iPhone back to it's healthy/normal state.

Ok this app is fun especialy if you have a friend who has it installed too.
Very much like the light saber app but with some variety. The sword is very metalic. The only improvment would be to have the app make a different sound based on forehand or backhand stroke. Still a lot of fun slapping your buddys around with sound effects.
Funny how the whip sound is related to a Lucas created character like the light saber. The whip is cool.
There is allways room for improvment adding backhand sounds adding more sounds likeca Bruce lee numchuck or somthing like that would be welcome.

This is a fun little sound-effects app- and I solidly appreciate the humor regarding fighting against the onslaught of fart apps recently. With the update today, the app features 5 sounds: a slap, a whip crack, a sword clash, a punch and... well, I don't quite know how you -fight- with it, but a gong. The effects are currently purely accelerometer driven- you swing the iPhone to activate them. It's moderately sensitive, and the update did seem to eliminate at least some of the double-registering of swings and the app trying to play the sounds in quite succession.
The quality of the sound files is pretty good overall, but the gong sound effect seems to be a bit distorted no matter what volume I have the iPhone set to- but it's really obvious with it cranked. I'm rather impressed at the volume that the iPhone's speaker can put out with this app- it's quite audible under all but the most high-noise situations.
There are a few places where I think the app could use some improvement. The interface is very bare-bones, which is in general good as for an app like this there really isn't a need for lots of confusing controls- it just works as it's supposed to. But it would be good to have the ability to configure it a bit more- in particular it would be nice to be able to turn off the vibration. It would also be a nice feature to be able to tap the screen to play the sounds when it's not quite appropriate to be swinging the iPhone around. A few pie-in-the-sky ideas would involve adding some more realistic function to the gong and the whip. Specifically, the ability to detect more subtle movements of the phone and play sounds simulating swinging the whip around before cracking it and 'warming up' the gong before actually striking it. Having several different sword clashing sounds would also be nice, and a fun addition to the slap effect would be a random chance of the slap 'missing' and playing a 'swoosh' sound.
Overall this app is solidly programmed and thought out and is a lot of fun while still having a bit of room for future expansion and improvement.
