When I got this app, I was put off that it didnt function well as a mirror. Then I noticed this app had a deeper purpose. Staring into the grey, I realized this was actually scary accurate as a mirror. I saw this app was trying to show that I was the blank, boring, grey surface that i was staring at. This made me think, I now spend my time gaining enlightment through this bitter truth. This is the best application in the store. The way is long, but I am ready. Thank you, mirror mirror.

I liked the idea it is a really awsome app. I am not gonna get like some people and say this is terrible. It is good but I don't really care all that much about looks so this app just ain't my thing. But I would recomend it to people who like stuff like this:-) PEOPLE LISTEN I agree with people saying that just use the back of your iPod BUT some people don't agree with you. I know it is free speech. Yet could ya calm down a bit it's a FREE app what the heck do you expect

i tried taking a pic of a miror and that didnt work but this duz its amzing.but seriously, it does as it says. everyone else is retarded. face a light source, then use the black one - if your backs to the light youll just get a silhouette. just locking your ipod has almost the same affect, but since you dont get black when you lock it - you get grey, it doesnt reflect quite as well. anyways im gonna delete this and continue lockinh the ipod if i need a mirror. just remember - face the light when you use it!

I love how this app seems to have attracted britains most uneducated people to write a review. Where did these people learn to spell?! Gotta love council estate chavs, they make monkeys look intelligent. I know this app is a jokey app and I love it because of that. It's a shame other "people" can't get past that. I'm waiting for the next app - surely it will be one that turns your iPhone into a paperweight? :D 5 stars thanks for making me smile! Thiz app iz grate an I luv et. Well. Where to start? First of all, I was cynical about this application. Certainly after reading the other erudite and comprehensive reviews of this app from people "in the know", I was unsure that this compact collection of kilobytes could perhaps deliver on it's promise. Well, won't you just go and dash me with a bargepole; this app is fantastic! Upon launching this app for the first time, I was awestruck. The impact that Mirror Mirror had on me caused me great delight! As my dear Quentin would freely say, I'm rather fond of gazing upon my own reflection, and what a way to do this. My emotions are wraught; mere words can not express the pure, heartfelt glee I experienced after downloading this. It's a technological marvel. No other application comes close. The likes of "Rob's invisible cow", "Bread Smell" and "Identify-a-shed" can only dream of this worthiness.
Reflecting on my original cynicism (ho ho ho! see, I made a play on words!), I feel almost ashamed and embarassed for doubting the ability of Mirror Mirror to indeed provide me with a representation of my physog.

Fun good. Better than other mirror app out there. Anyways, it's free, so stop whining bubs. At least there is no pictureframe. ALSO DOUBLES AS A FLASHLIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the different color option. And ppl who are mad that it isn't a mirror, well then we'd need silver sheet behind the screen or a camera to make it a real mirror. So get over your mirror deprived life.

Peop's, I'm giving this 5 stars because it does what it says it does. Got it just to write the review. Hmm. I need a mirror, but there's no app to make the screen look like a shiny, metalic surface! However can I use my shiny, metal iPod as a mirror??it's quite the conundrum!

If you read the description and not the title then you will understand all it is, is a grey/black background. You can't turn an ipod/iphone into a mirror!
