I'm not sure what people are expecting when they see a flashlight on the little icon...But this is a flashlight app. And it's good at it. Just using the normal screen is okay...But this bright white light really lights up your path. I use it walking around the house at night, looking for lost keys under movie theater seats, walking to my car after a late night concert... This app may be a simple app, but it gets the job done.

This app is great. It does what it says on the tin. No silly gimmicks, just a torch. Better than flashlight. Why call it flashlight if it is mostly crappy novelty strobeights?! :) If you don't want to download this app, the screenshots are great. Take a screen shot of the white picture on the description and voilà! Use thatvibstead of app. Personally I prefer the app cosbod the little picture of the torch and the fact thatbia goes blue whenbyou holdbit while turning off! But hey, that's me :)

Just when you thought you'd seen the best written app on the iPhone, this comes along. Beautifully programmed with superb user interface. Game play is a little unimaginative, can't get past level 1, but hey it's brighened up my day. In all seriousness, I usually have my display turned down to about 25% brightness to conserve energy. If there was a way to override this temporarily from within the app, and return it to where it was when quit, without the need to alter the brightness settings, that would be excellent. :-)

Using this app is easier than hunting for your white picture in your photo roll, although that does work, too. My uses: I was in a hotel recently and the room lamp was not convenient for reading in the big chair. So I turned on Torch, put the iPhone on my lap and had just enough extra light to read by. Also, once at a restaurant, I dropped something really small under the table and used Torch to help me find it. I haven't used it much more than that, though. Still, I keep it in an easy-to-find location just in case.

Turns on and bright enough to see by it. The issue I have is that you have to click onto the little icon (flashlight) in the middle of the screen to turn on the light. I would prefer to simply tap onto any part of the screen without having to search for a small area to do this. Gave it a 4 star but like the feature that can tap to turn off light without leaving the application itself and able to turn on the light. But like to have a flashlight that turns on instantly.

This app is perfect 4 me and I an only 12 I use it every friken night like for taking out my contacts making my bed and all that junk. I share a room so that's why... So overall this app is AWESOME!!!!! And very very useful!
