WiFi Analyzer detects and displays the information of all 802.11 wireless networks around you.
WiFi Analyzer also provides a graphical visualization that shows the channel allocation and received signal strength (RSSI) of each wireless network to help you identify channel conflicts and overlapping that may affect the performance of your wireless network.
WiFi Analyzer will automatically analyze the channel allocation to determine which channels are less crowded and help you decide which channel is best for configuring your wireless router or access point.
WiFi Analyzer allows you to adjust the scanner sensitivity and interval (Home, Settings, WiFi Analyzer). Adjust the scanner sensitivity to detect or ignore wireless devices with very low signal strength.
Very cool app. Helped me find a clear channel

The app didn't work the first time I opened it bit after visiting the settings and reopening it works perfectly. This thing is a jewel.
App does work, pretty nice

I managed to get this one working after tweaking in setup. I really like the visuals and the channel recommendations. More options would be a plus. Truly unique.

Once you turn off the default "North American Channels Only" option (or something like that) it works great. Will be very useful for roaming ICT techies like meself!

The app worked after increasing the sensitivity under Home, Settings, Wifi Analyzer. The default sensitivity couldn't even detect my own router in the same room. Good app, but needs documentation and functional default settings.
App Seems not to work

Wifi Analyzer seems not to work on my 1st gen IPhone. When I launch the App I get no networks. Where when I was using WiFinder before the upgrade of Iphone 3.0 I received a long list of WiFi Links. How does one get a refund?
Ok update. Adrian the publisher emailed me back and told me of some sensitivity adjustments that you make on your Iphone settings page. Now I see my network but not as many networks that I saw with WiFinder.
Not sure this app works

See, I can not even detect the WiFi hotspot I am currently using. Is it supposed to? I attempted to contact the author first but could not because their website has no links nor more information than is already contained on the iTunes site. Very frustrating. So, I must rate it a 2 star app. No support, not enough information and can't even see my own WiFi. Hard to know if this is really working. At least, please provide an email address.
Does not work at all.

Using a 3G iTouch no networks detected even though 2 are present. App Wifi Trak easily sees both networks and is a much better program. Apple should remove Wifi Analyzer from store. Don't buy.
