Ugly neighbor By: RonR66 - Jun 30, 2009 Version: 2.0 Please help
I have an iPhone 3G with the 3.0 update.
When I try to see the animated radar all I get is this round thingy that keeps spinning and spinning and making me dizzy until I fall and that makes me want to drink vodka, then I get horny and want the neighbor girl.
Is there anyway you can make it stop, because she's ugly and it's your fault because the little thingy keeps spinning and I never get to see the radar in motion, it's sad really, that she's ugly!
I've performed a hard re-boot (she's still ugly) and it didn't help.
I also re-installed it (she got mad) ugly girls don't get laid that often, then installed it again, that didn't help either.
I'm sure this crisis is temporary because Accuweather is awsome, but now look what you've done to me!
Weather app By: Parkie2 - 8-Nov-2009 Version: 2.0 After reading some of the earlier reviews I decided to further check out this app. I downloaded it on my ipod 8g and it works totally great. Not at all slow, no problems whatsoever in any location I tried, even converted to metric without any hitches mentioned in another review . I have 5 different locations from Canada and the USA and must say I am more than pleased with the performance. Not sure when the others gave their reviews but this one is on Nov. 8, 2009. I am totally pleased to have it on my ipod.

Best free weather app By: tnstatc - Jun 20, 2009 Version: 2.0 I had WeatherBug for a long time, but when Accuweather came out, I tried it, and it's _much_ better. I like being able to have multiple locations and just swipe between them (I have one for home and one for work, which are far enough apart to have different forecasts). And the hourly stuff really rocks for figuring out what time it's going to start/stop raining. Even better now that you get 15 hours/15 days instead of 5. I do wish, however, that I could turn off the "vibrate when there are alarms or alerts" feature, however.

I like it.! By: Shell29 - Jun 16, 2009 Version: 2.0 I like this app. I have this as a Widget on my Mac and, i use it there all the time. I have always found it to be quite reliable concerning its weather predictions. I depended on it all this past winter which was a long, rough one! I enjoy its ability to give timely warnings about weather conditions & alarms so you have an idea what to expect. I have had no problems with it crashing and, was very glad to find it in the app store. I use it daily and enjoy it very much. I don't know what everybody is crying about. It gets four stars only because of the ads that can be a bit distracting/annoying sometimes. But, whaddya expect for free? : ) You gotta pay the bills somehow right?
LOVE IT EVEN MORE!!!!
Great job on the update!!! All the changes are excellent! I especially like how you can flick between cities now too.! Honestly, I really did think this app was very good to start with. I would totally pay money for it. Keep up the good work!!

Accuweather application By: Wokinibiz - Jun 15, 2009 Version: 1.02 This is by far the best application for tracking weather that I have used. I have tried other applications, accessing local radio and television weather information as well as related websites. None seem to provide the data that most everyone prefers in a weather forecast. For instance, this application not only provides the current temperature, but the "real feel" temperature, humidity and wind information all on the home screen. It also provides hourly and 5-day forecasts at the tap of an icon. Other options allow for viewing radar, video clips, weather risk factors, alarms and alerts. This application loads ultra-fast too! And the best feature is the fact that it is a free download.
Best Weather Value!! By: mike3430 - Jan 2, 2009 Version: 1.0 This app is perfect for getting your local, accurate forecast. It shows weather: currently (shows temp., winds, etc.), hourly, and 5-day forecast (day and night). Also shows accurate, local, live radar images. Then click 'risks' to view any potential severe upcoming weather risks (T-Storm, Rain, Snow, Ice, Wind, or Fog). This app also shows any weather warnings, watches, etc. You may also put in multiple locations. Truely a great value... should really cost $10.00 for how convenient, easy, and accurate it is! GET IT WHILE IT'S FREE!!

Finally. No seriously, FINALLY! By: ARGuck - Dec 29, 2008 Version: 1.0 I've been waiting for a good weather app. TWC is not it. The biggest omission? Animated Radar. I don't care what the weatherman says, if I actually want to see how much precipitation I'm going to receive then I look at the radar and determine for myself. I've used accuweather.com for a long time and was very excited to that they had an app and they didn't disappoint. I also love the location aware feature, now when I'm out of town I don't have to FIRST find out where the heck I am and then enter it in. I just let accuweather figure it out. Yeah, there are ads, Thats fine by me, they aren't THAT obtrusive. The App is FREE folks. FREE.

Very good weather application. By: Siva Nara - Dec 28, 2008 Version: 1.0 I've used three of the weather applications , the one from Iphone which is the simplest of all and you can't really do anything with it. The second one from weather.com and the third one is Accuweather. There is a relative advantage of being late. Not everyone can get it correctly for the first time. Look at Google. They were late to the search but they dominate it. LIke wise, Accuweather has the best UI and a clean interface. Has excellent forecast for five days And on touching on each day, it shows in detail about the forecast. I've put this on my home page in the iPhone and I use it heavily.
Great app By: PitVipers - Dec 23, 2008 Version: 1.0 Finally! I've been using AccuWeathers web app but this is even better. Very slick interface with lots of great information. I like it better than the Weather Channel app because this one has motion radar and a nicer design. Some have complained about it showing a 5-day forecast instead of 10 but does anyone really believe the forecast past 5 days anyway? With this app, weather channel and weatherbug have been uninstalled from my iPhone.
Best weather app, period By: Seven7 - Dec 22, 2008 Version: 1.0 This is the best weather app, hands down. Judging from the screenshots, I was expecting this app to take a while to load the weather (due to the graphics) compared to other weather apps but I was completley wrong. Updates almost instantly and I love the fact that on the 5-day forecast, you can hit the moon icon and it actually summarizes the weather at night for the 5 days and not just the weather during the day. For people that tend to go out at night, its a plus. The only suggestion I have is to increase the time frame for current weather. Right now we can only see the current weather for the next 5 hours. They should add an option to show next 10 hours or something by pressing an arrow similar how the indices section has arrows to navigate the menus. Overall, best weather app!
Awesome weather app! By: imike12706 - Dec 22, 2008 Version: 1.0 Finally!!! A weather app that is useful AND looks good. It's not overpriced like my weather but at the same time does everything and more. The indicies section is a nice touch. Also has several videos to choose as opposed to TWC's one forcast. ONLY thing I would change, would be a NEXRAD radar like the other radar app in the app store. But this radar is still up to the job. And it's animted from the start! Good job accuweather!
Saved me from multiple tornados in TN By: tlc57 - Aug 20, 2009 Version: 2.0 On good Friday we had a tornado outbreak in central TN. I was on the 840 interstate bypass and had a severe funnel producing storm behind us,
Ahead of us 12 miles another tornado formed and hit murfreesboro TN and crossed the interstate I was headed toward. I slowed down to give the tornado a chance to head north of my route.
Another tornado formed back to the southwest and produced another tornado that hit Murfreesboro
It was an f3 that I avoided with the help of the local radio and the radar portion of your app.
Having that radar image helped me avoid all these systems
I thank God for accu weather radar and my local station.
I don't recomend traveling in storms but you guys were there for us
I have no doubt it saved our lives

4.5 Stars By: rednano74 - Mar 1, 2009 Version: 1.02 Featured rich app. I find the loading time and responsiveness very good. I have had this app for about a month with no serious problems. People's criticism that the weather forecast only goes out 5 days shows some ignorance because forecasting 5 days out is barely accurate by any weather person or app. But when you are looking at the 5 day, make sure you tab the sun or the moon to distinguish between day from night. I gave it 5 stars to offset some people's low star ratings plus it was a round up from a 4.5 star rating by me. The banner ad keeps it from being a true 5 star.
Absolutely Brilliant....!! By: aga55iz - 05-Sep-2009 Version: 2.0 I've had this App for months, and have come to rely upon it.......I have used the App regularly over the "summer" to decide on whether a cardigan or umberella is the necessary accessory, and the App has never let me down - I also love the fact that you can customize with weather reports for specific postcodes - this was invaluable when planning UK drips over the summer hol's....get this App, you'll soon wonder how you lived without it.... !!!
