iSki App is by far the best snow & ski report application that I have seen for the iPhone to date. The presentation is clear and appealing. iSki has great features like Web Cam images, Trail Maps and even a way to locate yourself & your other friends using iSki. How cool is that! The application is very intuitive to use. I know that a few users have complained about Powder Alert text messages. I think that this is a great feature. It's easy to use and easy to turn on or off so I don't see what the complainers are talking about.

Its about time someone developed a decent snow conditions app for free. I have tried several of the other snow conditions apps. This one has the best ui. The functionality is pretty staight forward. Plus, at free- the price is right.

The best looking snow report application that I have found. What? And it is free? I like how so much information is available from my favorites folder.. My only complaint so-far, is that the powder alerts just made it harder to go in to work this morning since my resorts are getting snow...

This app is off to a good start. Be aware that if you select any resort as a favorite, you will receive a text message on your phone/ device if there is new snow (apparently even if 'Powder Alerts' are switched OFF in settings). This should be updated/ fixed, or at least mentioned in the description (for those of us that don't have unlimited texting).

so far this app is really nice. i dont think its slow or clunky. its smooth and fast on my iPhone. i cant wait to see some more update. it really needs to have the date/time of the snow report. without this info you really dont know if you are getting good info. i didnt give it 5 stars because i haven't been able to test the 'find a friend' feature.

For resorts that are actually indexed the intel is good. But, maps are limited. For example Tremblant has 3 zones and the map only shows the top half of the north side. Overall, I'm into it. It just needs more work. Thanks for the effort, developer!

This app isn't all that great - cumbersome interface, for instance - but the text messages (spam) I'm now receiving from this app are simply unacceptable. I hope they go away when I delete the app, which is happening right now.

Fortunately, I haven't been bombarded with txt messages (yet), so it's a bummer that people have been, and I think that's definitely worthy of complaining about, especially if you turned the alerts off! But on to the app itself, well, it has a lot of potential, and it certainly isn't bad for free. Many of the resorts don't have webcams as expected, nor do they trail maps, but I'm hoping this will be addressed in future updates. The one thing I'd really like to see here is listings for cross country ski resorts! As most of my fellow x-country skiers are aware, knowledge of trail conditions is very important to us having a good or bad day on the slopes, so including some of the major resorts in the US and Canada would be really awesome.

Cumbersome, fair start

Earlier reviews clearly submitted by developers mother - this app needs work, it is slow, clumsy and cumbersome. Info/site results need to be dated so we know when report was last updated. Locations should load geographically in relation to distance from my location. You never know when yer gonna get kicked out of the app and onto safari, I hate that. Fair start, needs work.

Needs some small improvements. The trail map for whistler blackcomb is too blurry to use, needs a higher resolution image. I didn't check the other trail maps. Some basic settings options would be nice, ability to set a default mountain to load up on start. It would be nice if the offers and vouchers button was at the bottom, out of the way. Unless they are sponsors. More webcams to view, I like the one that is already there for whistler but I know whistler has more than one webcam.

Doesn't work AT ALL for South America - Chile. Atleast not while it is winter there. I have sent multiple emails & get ZERO response. Worth every cent that I paid for it which fortunately is nothing. It is however using up space on my iPhone.

It had plenty of 5 star reviews, but lots of 1 stars also. The constant SPAM is so annoying, especially since I don't text so I am getting charged for all of this SPAM! Total garbage.
