This is a great little app. I previously tried out a few other snow-related apps, but none is as comprehensive, wide-ranging or as accurate as this one. I double-checked the stats against various other resort and weather sites and all the stats were spot on. This is a great little app allowing you easy overview to your favourite resorts in an attractive interface, coupled with a wide and comprehensive selection of resorts in Europe, the US and Canada. It contains all the info you need, and even links in to the webcams in resorts. Highly recommended.

Well, the 5 day weather forcast is just plain retarded, and the limit to 3 mountains is weak, but I still think this blows away the compitition (the north face, we ski, the snow report) what I don't like is that unless I use weatherbug I have no idea what the actual 5 day is. Needs some very easy and effective improvements. UPDATE 2-11-09 AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!! This is thee best app for snow reports, hands down! Thanks for providing a free app of such great use!

On the right track

This gets 4 Stars in my book - the best thing is they are on the right track - North Face may have a nicer user interface but that is useless if things don't work. Not all things work but when I press contact then locate resort for Sunshine Village it actually gives me the parking lot - obviously they were smart enough to use gps coordinates. Unfortunately when I try and locate Castle Mountain it does not work the same. Ski resorts can be remote - maybe you should give a couple of gps coordinates one for the main turn and the other for the parking lot. The marketing interface is great and customized for the iphone - Great Work - still could be some improvements but it is night and day better than North Face.

This app is perfect late in the season as conditions are changing quickly. I've got all my local resorts (and some not so local) on my carousel, telling me who's got the best snow and capacity. The skis are on the rack, I'm ready to go.

REI nailed this one! Easy view of up-to-date snow conditions for three resorts makes figuring out which mtn to hit a breeze! Being able to see the snow on the webcams is awesome, and I like being able to check out some gear too.

Download for free and give it a go. Much better than the 'paid' Fizz Snow. Could do with a more detailed weather forecast, but resort info and webcams are top notch.

A great app - combines the ability to look at up to 4 resorts at a time (found Zell Am See and Les Deux Alpes) with webcams, 5 day snow report, current snow and weather conditions and contact details for the resort - even shows you where it is with Google maps
